"Situated right next to the Darlington Raceway, this restaurant is a must-visit for any dedicated NASCAR fan. It’s a small, unassuming spot filled with NASCAR memorabilia, especially featuring Dale Earnhardt Sr. While working in Hartsville, I met a couple from Darlington who highly recommended this place, particularly suggesting the hamburger steak as the dish to try. I took their advice, and I’m glad I did! The hamburger steak comes with gravy and your choice of onions, cheese, and gravy, along with fries and a salad. I opted for gravy and cheese, and it was delicious! The flavor was great, and the portion size was just right. The fries were crispy, and the salad was a basic mix of lettuce and chopped tomato with dressing. The staff was friendly, and it was clear that this place has a loyal local following. I really enjoyed my lunch here and hope to return if I find myself in the area again."
