"Situated right next to the Darlington Raceway, this restaurant is a must-visit for any dedicated NASCAR fan. It’s a small, unassuming spot filled with NASCAR memorabilia, especially featuring Dale Earnhardt Sr. While working in Hartsville, I met a couple from Darlington who highly recommended this place, particularly suggesting the hamburger steak as the dish to try. I took their advice, and I’m glad I did! The hamburger steak comes with gravy and your choice of onions, cheese, and gravy, along with fries and a salad. I opted for gravy and cheese, and it was delicious! The flavor was great, and the portion size was just right. The fries were crispy, and the salad was a basic mix of lettuce and chopped tomato with dressing. The staff was friendly, and it was clear that this place has a loyal local following. I really enjoyed my lunch here and hope to return if I find myself in the area again."

Oldie but goodie. Good fried pickles. Love the chicken tenders and chili cheese fries. Friendly staff and owner! If you like NASCAR, visit Raceway to see lots of racing paraphernalia. Located next to the track Too Tough to Tame.

First time here, in town for a high school football game. Staff was very friendly and checked on us often. Food was great! Will come back again! Nice local flare near the Darlington Raceway. Lots of people coming in to eat while we were there.

Good food but no where near worth $14+ and tip for one hamburger steak with fries and salad drinking sweet tea! Not even a roll! I used to come here often! but now I will just go right down the road where you can get the exact meal for less than $10 View menu

We stopped here after being on the road all day it was perfect. The food was excellent-best fresh cut fries I've ever had real chicken tenders-not frozen. The owner spent time with us was a super guy. Our waiter was very polite attentive. I highly recommend this place, even if it's a bit off your path.

I recently had the best burger I've had in ages! It was cooked exactly to my preference (medium rare) and made from high-quality beef. The sweet potato fries were fantastic as well! We stopped by after visiting the Darlington Raceway Museum, and the staff was not only fun but also very attentive. The prices were great too!

Little frustrated. Been here twice and everything was showing they were open but didn't find out until I arrived they were closed for the day. Called the restaurant as well and no change to the recording. Both times I've tried to come there were other people who were pulling in to eat also. 16oz Ribeye, ice cold beer with a frozen glass, kind-hearted server named Heather ! She had a calm and sweet demener and went above and beyond when I asked if I could buy three ribeye for my backyard kitchen! When I entered, I directed a question to the owner, bar, or restaurant? She replied, restaurant with alcohol , she should have said fine dining steakhouse ! I was very satisfied with the quality of the steak, the preparation, rare , and the service! I have renamed this place (in my mind) DARLINGTON STEAKHOUSE

During our visit for the 2023 Southern 500, we discovered this hidden gem on Saturday. The place is adorned with NASCAR memorabilia everywhere! As we were leaving, we had the unexpected pleasure of seeing Mike Helton from NASCAR and Clay Campbell, the president of Martinsville Speedway, walk in. This spot is a must-visit for any racing fans in town. Even if there’s no racing happening, the food is absolutely delicious. I had the Hamburger Steak topped with gravy, cheese, onions, and a baked potato – it was to die for!
