"Every course was very delicious. We loved the calamari and all the side dishes (salad, antipasto and soup that were included in the meal. Even though I had to box most of my dinner up (I was stuffed! every bite I ate at the restaurant was so tasty. Excellent service! Roy and James were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Great music too. We loved our first time here and will definitely be back!!!"

"The food was fantastic. Our friends spit a seafood paella which looked wonderful and they claimed was delicious. My wife and I had tapas. We shared the calamari, eggplant satin, and cuban pork wrap. All especially the eggplant were excellent. The dipping sauce for the bread was also really good. Olive oil with cilantro, basil, mint, green onions, garlic We set outside in the shade, the service was on top of things without being obtrusive. A very light buzz around us so we had way conversation among the four of us"

"As for the food, it was subpar. The marinara sauce tasted like thick ketchup and lacked any real flavor. It's hard to believe this is the only Italian restaurant where you leave still feeling hungry. The portion sizes made me feel like I had ordered from a children's menu. When I requested some hot giardiniera, he brought out just two tiny portions and asked if I wanted both. I insisted that I needed both. I also asked for Italian dressing but received balsamic instead. I was too hungry to wait for him to come back, and it felt like he would take his time. I ended up eating, but I could have had better food at an Olive Garden in Kentucky. My date ordered a seafood salad that was quite perplexing; I didn't realize celery was considered seafood. Her salad was mostly celery with a few thawed calamari rings. When I mentioned to the waiter that they seemed frozen, he assured me they were fresh and made to order. He misled us. They were clearly previously frozen, quickly thawed, and tossed in oil with a lot of celery. My date has never sent back a meal, but this was the first time I saw her refuse one. The calamari looked like it had "GOODYEAR" stamped on it. There is nothing that would convince me to return to this place. The food and service were both terrible. This establishment should be closed down. If you want a good meal, head to The Rainbow Cafe across the street. This place was just awful."

"First timer here and it will not be my last. The food was amazing and it came out in no time (but also was there at 8 something in the morning). I had the Old Timer breakfast with livermush, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, fruit and toast. Ate everything but half the toast (only because I got too full). My husband got Grandpa's Breakfast and the 11 oz country fried steak (pictured), was big enough for at least 3 people to eat . He also got eggs over medium, hashbrowns and biscuit gravy. He brought home leftovers since he could not finish it all. Will def be back and looking forward to trying their lunch/dinner."

"On a positive note, the salad was good and had a decent portion size. The steak was seasoned well and cooked to the correct temperature, but it wasn’t scored or seared properly, making it look somewhat unappetizing. The fat on the steak was too soft to eat. However, the main portion was quite good and filling for the price. The banana pie with meringue topping was delicious, and I’d definitely return to try more of their options to see which I like best. I'm also eager to try their caramel milkshake. I took two cookies to go, and they were absolutely worth the price—such a delightful treat!"

"Saturday night, bar was very empty and the indoor area had maybe 2 people inside. Waiter took our drink order, brought the wrong drink, took 30 mins to bring the drinks. Said the bartender was in the weeds so that is why it took so long. Round 2 of drinks, again took forever and again we were told they were slammed busy (again, maybe 10 people at the bar one other small party inside) Food came out burnt, spinach dip was a block of cream cheese with spinach blobbed in it.. horrible. Watched a take out order get dropped on the floor by the bar, the employee picked the food up that hit the floor, put it back into the container and send it out. Disgusting They had plenty of staff hanging out in the kitchen area laughing, playing around and ignoring customers. Would never come back here again. Service sucked, food sucked, drinks were wrong and the waiter was just making excuses for a clearly sinking ship. Need new staff who actually come to work, to work. Now I know why they weren 't busy. They are horrible"

"I didn't even take a picture. I wish I have to see for others how amazing a jobs and how great of a price they charge for such a fantastic meal. I got a vegan burger and my partner got a jerk we've ever shared half. alomg with fries and a carrot cupcake. I have never lubricated a meal so fast - it was amazing. I have not made vegan food so fresh and so perfect since florida at my old place that she only topped. I'll be back to lunch in the morning, as her dinner went beyond all the food I had in the city so far. friendly staff and fast to get the order out. a must go to spot for anyone looking for a freshly prepared food and snack that has not even felt like a dessert! edit: came for my last day in santa fe, got the vegan blt again. here's a picture. 2x worth every penny."

"The crab cake was burnt on the bottom, and I ordered the filet medium, but it arrived well done. This was our second visit; we loved it the first time we came. However, the next day they closed due to personal issues. I'm not sure if we'll return."

"This was my 1st dining here and overall I really liked the relaxed environment. Everyone was very friendly. The relaxed atmosphere reminded me of dining in Europe. Everyone takes their time and it’s not a rushed environment and I really enjoyed that. If you are in a rush this probably isn’t the restaurant for you. The vibe is very chill. Now on to the food. I left feeling like a stuffed turkey. They food was good and we ate so much. I would recommend the French toast and the crab quesadilla. The shrimp and grits were cool. I liked that the quesadilla came with rice and it was kind of sweet which balanced out the savory taste of the quesadillas. I would say the food is well balanced. The French toast were like French toast sticks they weren’t overly sweet which is great. It comes with a sauce on the side which was really good. I would definitely dine again for brunch. And the drinks are good I got the guava Bellini and we also go the Cesar salad that was pretty good. Oh and the corn bread was pretty good."

"The fatoosh with chicken (tawook) was perfect. I was looking for a juicy chicken on a beautiful salad and found it! This place is worth it. We impromptu stopped here, I was hungry. The spinach cakes were a 7. The decor is beautiful! I felt like a step into ancient Egypt. Excellent!"

"I have visited this restaurant twice so far. The first experience was fantastic, but my second visit left me a bit underwhelmed, though I still consider it a good place. I arrived around 5:30 PM when it wasn't busy yet, and it took a little while for a waitress to come to my table. However, once she arrived, she was very pleasant and respectful. I ordered the fried chicken, which was decent but seemed to have been kept under heat lamps for a while—it didn’t have that fresh, crispy taste that you expect from fried chicken. As for the atmosphere, it was just okay; there was a car with birds in it, and I'm not a fan of having birds around while I eat. That said, I would still recommend dining here!"

"My 2 eldest Grandsons I went here for supper. They really enjoyed their meal. Me, not so much. I got an egg, bacon cheese sandwich. From now on, if I ever order that again, anywhere, I will definitely B specific on how I want my sandwich. First I had to say I wanted toast, usually I'm asked. I was hungry too, but when I got my sandwich, I was disappointed. It had mayonnaise on it. Some people like that, I don't. I felt I should've been asked to chose either butter, mayo, or have it plain. Asked whether I wanted toast or light bread. I don't know if they offer different bread as wheat or rye... The sandwich also had lettuce on it. Not for me. Like I said tho, my Grandsons loved the Chicken Tenders French Fries, LOL, when don't they!! If that is what U R gonna get, make sure U ask for the meal, if not, they charge U by the tender!!"

"We like going to the Taproom. We love the atmosphere and the food is usually very good. I got the salmon and it was cooked perfectly and was delicious, as were the brussel sprouts. Crispy and yummy! The pasta with sundried tomato alfredo sauce had no flavor and could have just been left off the plate. My husband got the mexican special and he said it was just okay . We will be back!"

"Mr. Picky ordered the TNT Skillet from the brunch menu and appreciated its vibrant flavors. However, I believe I made the better choice with the Schnitzel and Waffles. The two pieces of bacon were cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The egg was cooked to perfection, with that lovely little bit of brown around the edges and a delightfully runny yolk—kudos to whoever cooked it! The chicken schnitzel was decent, though I prefer veal schnitzel. The standout on my plate, though, was definitely the three small, round waffles. Oh my goodness! I tend to eat one item at a time on my plate, which I know is a bit odd, but that's just how I roll. I saved those waffles for last and, being a bit of a purist, I asked the waitress for butter and extra maple syrup. And yes, it was the real deal, not that fake stuff. However, I made the mistake of telling Mr. Picky, "Oh my word, this waffle is the best I've ever had, you have to try a bite!" As a result, he insisted I should eat healthier and then slid his remaining skillet meal over to me while he commandeered my plate of waffles. Yes, he stole my waffles! We both ordered sticky toffee pudding for dessert with extra sauce—what can I say? It’s simply amazing, and if you haven't tried it, you absolutely should!"

"Was browsing Happy Cow during a snack at Chez Elle across the street and saw that BBB was in there so we decided to try it for dinner. I didn't actually check HC to see what exactly was vegan so I just looked at the menu. After talking to the server she asked about the vegan option that was under the Catfish and apparently it's cajun (blackened) tofu over dirty rice with green beans and an aioli made with vegenaiseThe tofu was absolutely delicious and it was cut thin so it got crispy (my favorite). It's about $4-5 less (think the catfish is $21) if you sub tofu. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it. It's a bit overpriced so that's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, won't come back unless were in the area of Chez Elle but a good option if we are in the area."

"Around the corner is terrible. I went there on a Tuesday and it took 10 minutes to just have our waiter to bring us our drinks and the restaurant wasn't even busy. To make it worse they said I couldn't get the combo I wanted without eggs they said I would have to order each item separately. I thought that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard and I ordered a cup of orange juice it was supposed to be a large and it was a small cup and when I got my ticket my bill was $12.22 becuase my orange juice was $4.00 itself and the food wasn't even that good. So I do not recommend I just wonder how this place is even still open! No breakfast should be over 8 dollars unless it's steak or pork...read more"

"The Lucca Grill in Bloomington is an absolute gem in a historic building that exudes charm and character. One of the coolest aspects of this place is that the servers still use a dumbwaiter for food service—talk about a unique touch! My go-to order here is always the A la Baldini pizza. It's amazing, with a cracker-thin crust and fresh ingredients that make every bite unforgettable. The beer selection is large, offering something for every taste. Though I've only been for lunch, even during busy times, the service is quick and friendly. The dining area is decorated with cool historic artifacts, adding to the ambiance and making it feel like you're dining surrounded by history. Overall, The Lucca Grill is a fantastic place to eat in downtown Bloomington. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a unique and historic setting."
