"I ordered the regular "Trust Me" for $26.50, and here’s what I experienced:
1. Edamame: decent.
2. Tuna sashimi in ponzu: it was served too cold and overly drenched in ponzu, leaving the tuna itself tasteless.
3. Albacore and salmon sushi: again, lacking flavor. The Albacore was overpowered by ponzu, and the rice was only slightly warm.
4. Blue crab roll and toro roll: the crab was pretty good, but I found a piece of shell in mine. The toro was disappointing—a sad scrap, but at least it had some flavor. Still, everything was served too warm.
5. Shrimps and yellowtail sushi: the shrimp had no taste, and the yellowtail was slightly fishy. As a fan of Hamachi, this was quite disappointing. The fish was once again served too warm.
There was no wasabi or anything to accompany the fish and rice, which felt inadequate. The rice was slightly hard and loose, and the fish lacked any flavor. Everything was either too cold or too warm. At least I left feeling full. That being said, the service really was excellent.
