"I started coming to this restaurant after a family member passed away and I inherited some money. It's located in a rough neighborhood, but they charge prices similar to upscale areas like the Upper West Side (kind of ridiculous for this area, right?). However, the quality of the food here is top-notch, and they offer a wide variety of protein bars and healthy snacks, like dried seaweed snacks that are surprisingly good (although they are practically calorie-free). The ice creams and gelatos are delicious, and they also serve smoothies and even have cat food available in the back. Despite the high prices, I still come here because I think it's worth it. I gave them a 4 out of 5 rating, as I believe perfection is unattainable. Their Strawberry Banana Smoothie might be the closest thing to perfection in this imperfect world. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and if you need help opening the door, a homeless person might assist you, but they will likely expect a tip. Just a heads up, be prepared to deal with some interesting characters in this area."

"We are a local business, and we ordered 25 pizzas for our holiday party. Their prices are the best around, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. I called on the day of the event to confirm the 6 PM delivery, and right on time, the driver arrived at 6 PM. He was incredibly nice and even helped us set up the pizzas. We are just a few miles away, and it was rush hour, yet the pizzas were still piping hot—so hot that we had to wait a bit for them to cool down! This is definitely one of the best pizza places I’ve ever ordered from, and I will certainly be placing another order in the future."

"I WANT to give them 5 stars, however both of my to go orders have been disappointing. Last weekend I stopped in for a cheese sub to go, pretty standard fare. The waitress there is so nice and accommodating so even though they don’t have this on the menu, they made it for me. It was pretty good except that there were only a few pieces of cheese. This time I came in she remembered me so I asked for the same sandwich but with more cheese, which I was willing to pay for. I specifically told her cheese sub (provolone and American) with lettuce tomato oil and vinegar and mayo. What I got was a cheese sandwich with with romaine lettuce and Caesar dressing, and like half a slice of tomato. No oil and vinegar, no mayo. I’m not quite sure what is so difficult about a cheese sub? Just like the one with meat, simply remove the meat. I didn’t bother walking back to let them know. I’d like to try them again, but I have a feeling it’s a hit and miss kind of deal. Also I’m not sure what the disconnect is, did she not put in the correct order or did they not understand it?"

"I had a great dining experience with friendly service at this restaurant. The place was clean and spacious with plenty of seating options. The drinks were delicious and the prices were reasonable compared to similar establishments. I would visit again. I deducted one star because my sandwich had mayonnaise on it despite my request for no mayonnaise. However, they quickly fixed the mistake and were very nice about it. Overall, I give this restaurant a four-star rating, but I rarely give a five-star rating for fast food."

"Very tasty food, ok wine, and fun atmosphere as long as you arrive before 7 pm as they close by 8 pm on weekdays. We started eating at 7:30 and by 7:45 they put chairs up on tables and started to sweep around us, which essentially ruined our nice date. The staff gets paid until they clock out, so there’s really no need to rush people out (although I fully understand that people might have personal reasons like childcare or second jobs). We would have happily ordered more wine and desserts, which would have doubled their tip (triple with grappa and espresso). Maybe one clever person could offer to close and get all the final tips plus more hourly time, while the others with time constraints leave at 8 pm?"

"Our last stop before heading home, I learned about this place from another restaurant we visited in Florida. They knew we were on the hunt for the best Cuban sandwich and recommended this sandwich shop. Right now, there's an incredible Cuban food frenzy happening here. My husband is opting for one of everything! Well, not exactly, but he would if we lived nearby. It warms my heart to hear him speak his native language with other Cubans. The Cuban sandwich was delicious and authentic, although it could have used more pork. One side had just a tiny piece, while the other side was almost empty of pork. Despite that, it was still a great sandwich, just missing some filling. My husband had the chicharrón, which was fantastic, papa rellena that he loved, ham croquetas that reminded him of his mother's cooking, and truly authentic chicken fricassé. It's a charming little place, bustling with people, so everything is super fresh. The service was quick too! Highly recommend!"

"found this place by going google maps for deli sandwiches for a light dinner with my wife after buying furniture one night and for us are Deli sandwiches the kind we are used to at a NYC deli. now, fat boy’s was a surprise cheek that was not disappointed and was just meeting our expectations!’ board’s head cold cuts, made on big sandwiches by an amazing friendly staff! we sat on a table outside on the pavement, like a caffe, chat and watched the passersby and traffic in the unique city north park. a terrible date night. we will definitely make this a regular stop for quality Deli sandwiches that are worth every part of the journey from home in coronado to north park! fat boy’s. they do deli right!"

"The pork here is outstanding, especially the pulled pork, which was excellent. I've encountered too many pulled pork dishes east of the Mississippi that are overly wet and mushy, but this place nails it. Their pork has just the right amount of juiciness without being sopping wet. The ribs were also flavorful, though I would have liked a bit more bite and bark. Still, they were moist and packed with taste. Unlike many places that rely heavily on sauce to mask a lack of flavor, I could easily enjoy these ribs on their own. The mac and cheese stood out as well—spicy and clearly made in-house, unlike the typical bulk, pre-made varieties you find at other places. I rated the food a 4 out of 5 mainly because the chicken was lacking in flavor for me, and I'm not a huge fan of kielbasa-style sausage; it reminded me too much of a cooked hot dog. However, it’s not bad—I've just become more discerning after trying BBQ across the country. If they could add a bit more crispy skin and seasoning to the chicken, serve larger chunks, and switch to a more traditional American sausage, I’d easily give them a 5. The restaurant itself is quite small, with about eight little tables for two inside, as well as a small outdoor patio for another eight people. The atmosphere is nothing special—just a cozy, no-frills BBQ joint serving great food on disposable white plates. I rated the atmosphere a 3 out of 5; for a more vibrant experience, you'd have to visit Archibald's in Tuscaloosa or any place in Texas for that authentic BBQ pulled from the pit. Initially, I was going to rate the service a 3 out of 5, as my interaction with the cashier felt somewhat detached, with him standing behind a plastic wall and asking for my order without much enthusiasm. However, I changed it to a 4 because my food came out incredibly fast—within two minutes, he quickly handed me my meal on a disposable plate. This place doesn’t need a charming atmosphere or overly charismatic staff; if you’re just after quick and delicious BBQ, they deliver well on the pork. Nothing more, nothing less."

Update 5/2/2021 Decided tonight was going to be a pizza night so why not come back and try Central Pizza see if as good as our first try. Geez Louise it's still the same! Taste just a good as the first pizza. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Garlic Parmesan wings. The pizza was delicious and the wings were good even though we asked for them to be cooked well done, extra crispy and they were not so we put them the air fryer and came out perfect! "We got to off the grill every Monday night. The owner was there tonight and VERY rude to the two young men working. Even rude to us and was yelling and screaming over a $5 kids meal that the boys gave us free for kids eat free. We ordered 4 adult meals and 4 kids meals not expecting to get the 4th kids meal for free but that’s how they rang it up. He approached us as we were leaving and got an attitude with my husband, so I said that is NOT how an owner approaches a customer. He came from behind the counter and tried to get in my face in front of our 3 children and my autistic adult client who had a melt down and he screams and him and threatened to call the police. We love off the grill but after this experience will NEVER return."

"Place looked clean. We ate out on the patio and it was breezy but industrial/noisy. Staff was friendly. Food was a no go for my family and I. Could have made the same thing at home. I got the grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken was very dry with notenough flavors going on to cover that. The roasted veggies were great though. Husband got the outlaw wrap not 100% on the name) but he had the same consensus. Dry and flavor lacking. We got our toddler the grilled cheese with ham. I don't know why theyput spicy cheese in a kids sandwich but he didn't seem to mind it much . Anyways, urban cookhouse was sadly a first and last forus. But other things on the menu may be better. All you can do is give it a try. I do recommend the roasted veggies as a side ."
