"Food was average to poor at best. It took over 3.5 hours for our meal. I burned more calories waiting for the food than the food supplied. Service was disjointed and it appeared the sushi chefs were overloaded with takeout/ delivery orders. Even accounting for that the food pairing was ridiculously poor. As far as we could tell this was for all of the tables as everyone seemed to be waiting forever for their food. Over $600 (incl tax and tip) 5 people One $50 bottle of sake. Maybe the worst value meal of my life. Perhaps takeout or delivery is a ok (the overly wasabi and soy flavored sushi rice made the fish impossible to taste so I doubt that too). Perhaps they had a really really off night. Perhaps they paid for their Yelp elite reviews. Bottom line. Don't go. I never will again perhaps they will find their way at a ghost kitchen."

"Written up as the best value omakase in NYC, I would have to say it is may be one of the best tasting as well. I ordered the sushi sashimi omakase. I have never had a better selection presented to me. The chef also makes each piece with its own sauce. The last time I experienced this level of umami was in Tokyo. The service is top-notch. Not pretentious or intimidating. I noticed afterwards that had been Michelin rated for the last 3 years. Definitely, will come back often. Amazing food experience!"

"Yoshino gives people a new reason to visit New York. I found myself constantly canceling other restaurant’s reservations while dine at Yoshino. Too much description on how does the food taste like might not help in this case because they are all very amazing and I’m certain everybody will find their favorite dish at Yoshino. "This was the most phenomenal dining experience. We did the Omakase at the chefs table and it was remarkable. I have to say it was one of the best meals of my entire life. Every single bite was mind-blowing. Each bite was perfectly curated for a flavorful, delectable experience. The chefs were extremely friendly and skillful. You get to watch the show of the chefs preparing the beautiful sushi as you eat. It’s BYOB and we bought Sale beforehand and it paired perfectly with the sushi. I am still in awe at how amazing this meal is. The intimate setting makes it a perfect spot for a date night or a special occasion. With only $75 for the Omakase menu it’s a great value. We left satisfied and perfectly full. I am still thinking about this meal every day and I cannot wait to go back. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!"
