"Food was average to poor at best. It took over 3.5 hours for our meal. I burned more calories waiting for the food than the food supplied. Service was disjointed and it appeared the sushi chefs were overloaded with takeout/ delivery orders. Even accounting for that the food pairing was ridiculously poor. As far as we could tell this was for all of the tables as everyone seemed to be waiting forever for their food. Over $600 (incl tax and tip) 5 people One $50 bottle of sake. Maybe the worst value meal of my life. Perhaps takeout or delivery is a ok (the overly wasabi and soy flavored sushi rice made the fish impossible to taste so I doubt that too). Perhaps they had a really really off night. Perhaps they paid for their Yelp elite reviews. Bottom line. Don't go. I never will again perhaps they will find their way at a ghost kitchen."

While the staff at Sushi Shio seemed incredibly nice and the atmosphere was fun, the quality of the food was only fair. View menu

Became one my favorite Japanese restaurant ms in the Bay Area Great sourcing and overall quality Great menu and for the love of god no mayo or mayo based stuff on top! Yay! They do such a great job and they are proud of their output. Is expensive but worth it.

Come with me to Sushi Shio for a wonderful dining experience. A hidden gem with super affordable omakase in the city. Everything we had was perfectly balanced, unique, and delicious! We had the Shio Tasting, Handroll Tasting, and Chirashi along with the Sake Shio Flight. The food was simple but beautifully presented. Everything was incredibly fresh, the Nigiri, Hand-rolls, Chirashi, Toro Bruschetta, and Hamachi Tataki were all delicious!!Sushi Shio is the perfect spot for friends, family, coworkers, or even a romantic date night. Don't forget to try their premium sake flights too!Vegetarian options: You can ask

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
