"However, by 8:24 PM, I called Delivery.com again because I still hadn't received my food after 20 additional minutes. The representative contacted Masa again, and they told him it would take another 10 minutes and that someone from the restaurant would call me to apologize. At 8:33 PM, I received a call from a man at Masa, who explained that he wasn’t sure what had happened, but my food should be arriving soon. He expressed his sincere apologies for the hour and 45-minute wait and mentioned that he thought the driver was closer to picking up the food. When he called, I was relieved to hear that the driver was nearly at my house. He also promised a credit for the inconvenience, stating that they normally don’t have issues with Delivery.com, although they have faced problems with Grubhub. I appreciated the call, and soon after, my doorbell rang at 8:35 PM with the delivery. Now, on July 19, I have yet to receive the promised credit. I contacted the restaurant, and a woman who identified herself as the manager told me it wasn’t their fault the delivery took so long; she claimed it was the driver’s issue for being out driving around. I was instructed to reach out to Delivery.com for a credit. When I called Delivery.com, they could only offer a $35 credit on my next order, but then they reduced it to a mere $10, claiming it wasn’t the driver’s fault but rather the restaurant's. They contacted Masa for a larger refund, but all I could get was the $10. This situation was not my fault at all. I genuinely don’t think the driver was to blame either; if he had been driving around with my food for over an hour, it would have been cold. Fortunately, the food was hot, like it had just come straight from Masa. It’s disappointing for a restaurant to acknowledge an issue and then shift the blame elsewhere. I've ordered from this restaurant many times before, and it’s unfortunate that it has come to this. If they had simply stood by what their manager told me on the 14th, we wouldn’t have this problem. I hope they reach out to resolve this matter, as they have my contact information and should take responsibility for their mistakes."

"I haven't been to place in so long that I didn't even know they moved. It was a little hard to find, kind of hidden. Thanks to Google Maps, I found it, and there was parking. Inside, it looked small and had a nice simple layout. Not cluttered or anything, it was nice and organized. I had placed my order over the phone and was picking up. The lady who had taken my order was super nice and helpful. I was trying to figure out what the difference was between rice bowl and ordering the entree. She informed me that the only difference was that the rice bowl had more rice. While I was waiting, I liked that to my left, I could watch Itamae skillfully prepare and make the sushi. It made me wish I had ordered more sushi. I'll order more next time. I ordered: 1. Gyoza It was crunchy and fresh, I loved the sauce that went with it as well. It had a little kick. 2. California roll fresh and has a sweet taste to it 3. Beef and veggie bowl Hefty size, it had a lot of cabbage. I'm not a fan of cabbage, but it's one way to get me to eat veggies. 4. Beef bowl The meat was nice and tender. It did come with extra rice. I think next time I'll order extra meat or something. It wasn't enough meat and needed a little more sauce. I ended up giving my husband my beef to kind of balance it out some more. Overall, it was a great experience. I can't wait to come back soon. The prices were reasonably priced. Great service, and the 2 aunties that helped me with pick up was super nice."

"Was visiting Chicago and found this spot. When we got there it seemed like a cool sushi spot and I was really looking forward to it. The drinks were not that good. They tasted very sugary. The appetizers were good, but the service was terrible. Our waitress, Jess who was also the restaurant manager was terrible. She barely checked on our table. We were waiting there almost two hours before our one sushi roll came out. Then the next rolls came out about 20 minutes later and the waitress who brought it out didn’t even know what roll it was. It should be noted that tables that arrived after us were getting all their rolls before us, and not one at a time they were getting multiple rolls at once. It was at this time I asked our waitress Jess to cancel the remaining rolls and to give me the check. First she said she had to check with kitchen to see if she could cancel the rolls. Which is ridiculous if a customer wants to cancel an order they can, that’s how any other normal restaurant is ran. Then magically our remaining rolls were suddenly ready, and they said they couldn’t cancel them but they could pack them up to go for us. Then Jess said why don’t you want the rolls and why do you need to leave, do you have an emergency? I explained it was the service, I didn’t feel like going back and forth with the restaurant manager so I just paid the bill and left. If they are that hard pressed where they can’t cancel three rolls, let them have it. Based on the their customer service they won’t be in business much longer anyway. The sushi itself was decent, but the customer service was terrible. They need to hire a real restaurant manager that knows how to properly run a restaurant, if they want any chance at being successful"
