"Ok. I 've been coming to Fornos for over 20yrs... In the last three weeks, I have frequent Fornos on an average of two/three times a week, and every time I sat at the bar, to order my meal... these bartenders have tried to bully me into leaving a certain tip percentage of the bill...one bartender thought I did not leave a tip...and he said directly to me ... he will not serve me , and I was like what is going on?? , Just because, HE THOUGHT I DID NOT LEAVE A TIP , ... I already left a tip, and I had to get the other bartender to confirm that.. it is NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY THEIR SALARY AND I REFUSE TO AND I WON 'T, PERIOD!! LET 'S BE CLEAR, I LEAVE GREAT TIPS, 20% OR MORE ...I AM A VERY GENEROUS TIPPER, AND I TAKE PRIDE IN THAT!! HOWEVER, I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO TIPPING FOR SERVICE AT THE BAR..CRAZY!! GOING FORWARD, I WILL PAY A $5.00 DOLLAR TIP NO MATTER MY BILL.. TIPPING IS AN OPTION!! I AM NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY THE BARTENDERS SALARY!! PLEASE BE AWARE!! I AM SO OFFENDED!! TIPPING IS BECOMIMG OUT OF CONTROL...."

"It's been a while since my last visit to this restaurant. I had a craving for garlic shrimp, and I remembered how delicious it was last time I was here, which was about 30 years ago. The service was fast and the shrimp was just as tasty as I remembered."

"I haven't been here in over 25 years and there's a reason why. Only went because I was invited to a birthday celebration. Not one person enjoyed their meal. This is on my list as the worst meal I ever had. Food is terrible and overpriced. I ordered the octopus appetizer for $26 and I couldn't eat it. It was slimy and tasteless. They brought me the wrong dinner entree, which I was lucky because another person at the table got my order and he said it was disgusting. It was swordfish and it was bad..the smell was awful. The veal dish was also inedible. I don't know why this place continues to be packed. People must not know good food. Service is terrible. Staff is rude. They look annoyed with any request. Much better choices in the area. Pass on Don Pepe II."

"We began our meal with the Caesar Salad, which had a wonderfully creamy dressing. For the main course, I had the Chicken Milanese and the Short Ribs, and we shared the Patata Bravas. Both dishes were fantastic—simple yet incredibly delicious. The Patata Bravas were especially noteworthy, with a perfectly crispy exterior and a light, fluffy interior. The service was exceptional as well. We were a bit pressed for time, and our server was very attentive, ensuring we finished our meal promptly."

"We had the best time at Tia Pol. The food was incredible, every bite was perfectly seasoned. Some of our favorites were the chicken liver mousse and the specials gazpacho, skirt steak and octopus and chorizo skewers. The staff was kind and endearing, it made the whole evening even more fun. Will be back"
