"Ok. I 've been coming to Fornos for over 20yrs... In the last three weeks, I have frequent Fornos on an average of two/three times a week, and every time I sat at the bar, to order my meal... these bartenders have tried to bully me into leaving a certain tip percentage of the bill...one bartender thought I did not leave a tip...and he said directly to me ... he will not serve me , and I was like what is going on?? , Just because, HE THOUGHT I DID NOT LEAVE A TIP , ... I already left a tip, and I had to get the other bartender to confirm that.. it is NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY THEIR SALARY AND I REFUSE TO AND I WON 'T, PERIOD!! LET 'S BE CLEAR, I LEAVE GREAT TIPS, 20% OR MORE ...I AM A VERY GENEROUS TIPPER, AND I TAKE PRIDE IN THAT!! HOWEVER, I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO TIPPING FOR SERVICE AT THE BAR..CRAZY!! GOING FORWARD, I WILL PAY A $5.00 DOLLAR TIP NO MATTER MY BILL.. TIPPING IS AN OPTION!! I AM NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY THE BARTENDERS SALARY!! PLEASE BE AWARE!! I AM SO OFFENDED!! TIPPING IS BECOMIMG OUT OF CONTROL...."

Food was plentiful but quality was average. Service was good but they were not very flexible. They have a way of doing things and do not want to make exceptions.

The seafood tower is insane! The fresh ketchup with a center of fresh horseradish is out of this world. The entrée sizes have changed, but the quality is still incredible. They did a really nice renovation, too. It was 20 years since my return. Everything is top shelf. The service is grade A.

Early afternoon, a group of us. We enjoy eatting in the Iron Bound district but our 1st time at F.O.S.. The rice and stuffed eggplant was watery. Shrimp pasta, sauce was thick and salty. We spent alot of money with nothing to show for it. Not going back. The workers are very polite and attentive.

Will never step foot in this restaurant again. To make a long story short a dead roach was on our table!!! We brought it to the waiters attention immediately. They begged for forgiveness and assured us that they take every precaution to be as clean as possible. We felt bad and didn’t want to make a scene by walking out on our food. That proved to be the biggest mistake we could’ve made. I don’t recommend anyone going here. The restaurant looks fancy but that’s about it. Spend your money elsewhere. View menu

I have been going to this Rest for many years with my family. When my daughter moved out NJ I stopped going for 2yrs. This weekend I returned with my family again. We ordered different dishes and appetizers. I love grilled octopus (1st time eating it), all dishes were good except the paella-rice was dry and hardly had any seafood. One of the waiter-very young gentleman was the best. Very attentive. The Rest is clean, cozy and bathroom are super clean. I will go back because food and service is good but paella needs a lot of improvement

This is one of those places where you get more than what you bargained for. The evening started with complementary salad, bread and olives. I was just blown away by the portion of salad. The paella vegetariana was ok but not the best. The portions were impressive and easily for 2 people. Just when I thought the day ended, I was presented with churros with hot chocolate dip. I had overall good experience with the service. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that no one welcomed me upon arrival, next to the bar is an area called gallery room where this waitress was giving me a bad look and then it took a few mins for a server at bar to tell me that the host is on the other side.

"On Wednesday 12/06 I went to Banzai Sushi, I have never received such bad service in my life… Every time I remember my experience, I get angry, the waitress is rude and has a horrible attitude! It's a shame because the food there is wonderful, but the service is so SO BAD that I lost my appetite. When I got there, there was some water spilled on the table, she took my stepfather's DIRTY NAPKIN to clean it and just left it there. When I asked for things she responded with an ignorant, rude tone. My partner doesn't eat any type of animal protein other than shrimp. So we asked if we could replace the salmon with shrimp in a poke, she checked in the kitchen and said everything was fine. When she came back, I placed my order and she was doing something at the other table, but said to continue because she was listening….my partner also talking about swapping salmon for shrimp at the end and the waitress replies “so it's not like that at all what you want, is something different” and simply left leaving us talking to the wall. When our order arrived, my order came out wrong. I called her and she simply replied “BUT ALSO, WITH HER MAKING ALL THIS MESS WITH SALMON AND SHRIMP…”, sorry, but for me that was the end of the bite. It's okay to get the order wrong, I know it happens, but blaming the customer? Every time she passed by our table I saw her making faces and looking at the kitchen. I thought it was a huge lack of respect, we are paying customers. On top of that, it also includes a 15% tip. Normally, if I receive good service, I will give 20%, after all, I work in customer service and value professionals in my field. And if the service was just bad, I wouldn't bother coming here to report it... But it was horrible"
