"Ok. I 've been coming to Fornos for over 20yrs... In the last three weeks, I have frequent Fornos on an average of two/three times a week, and every time I sat at the bar, to order my meal... these bartenders have tried to bully me into leaving a certain tip percentage of the bill...one bartender thought I did not leave a tip...and he said directly to me ... he will not serve me , and I was like what is going on?? , Just because, HE THOUGHT I DID NOT LEAVE A TIP , ... I already left a tip, and I had to get the other bartender to confirm that.. it is NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY THEIR SALARY AND I REFUSE TO AND I WON 'T, PERIOD!! LET 'S BE CLEAR, I LEAVE GREAT TIPS, 20% OR MORE ...I AM A VERY GENEROUS TIPPER, AND I TAKE PRIDE IN THAT!! HOWEVER, I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO TIPPING FOR SERVICE AT THE BAR..CRAZY!! GOING FORWARD, I WILL PAY A $5.00 DOLLAR TIP NO MATTER MY BILL.. TIPPING IS AN OPTION!! I AM NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY THE BARTENDERS SALARY!! PLEASE BE AWARE!! I AM SO OFFENDED!! TIPPING IS BECOMIMG OUT OF CONTROL...."

"The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top-notch, and the food is exceptional. You can really taste the high-quality ingredients. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the fantastic quality of the dishes. Overall, it's a wonderful spot to dine at."

"I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a newborn, making it 31 years now. My mother has been a regular for 45 years! The black and red beans are absolutely incredible! The special steak with onions is the best I've ever had. And the chicken with yellow rice is incredibly moist and fresh—definitely a must-try!"

"It’s a pity how poor the service is. It seems none of the staff were trained. We were seated on time for our reservation but then no one came over to the table for about 15 min. The bread and oil were very tasty. A majority of our table tried the prefix menu and were surprised at the serving sizes. For 3 courses there was way too much food and it was such a waste! The food was just ok, my husband does not recommend the patatas bravas and the paella was mediocre at best. The worst part of our experience was that none of the plates from the first course were cleared before the second course came out and they began to auction the dishes to us. We had to collect our own plates and move them to the next table to make room. One of the servers also spilt soup on one of the guests in our party and they hardly apologized, nor did they offer a towel to clean it up. I would not go back and I do not recommend at all. "This is a little neighborhood eatery well known for its low prices and delicious Spanish food. However, don't expect a restaurant style service with a waiter or waitress catering to your every need. It's basically, come in, reach to one of the workers behind the counter, and if you need to, shout it out, because they don't write down the order."

"The food at this restaurant is really excellent, especially the stuffed sole. The mofongo is good, and the tostones appetizer is great. Despite the subpar bathrooms, I would be willing to return. There is a wheelchair accessible area, though it is located in a storage section which can lead to slower service. While not all the staff are unfriendly, our first waiter, an older man, was particularly rude. However, our second waiter was very pleasant."

"The meals at this restaurant are consistently fresh and tasty. While prices have risen slightly since the pandemic began, they remain quite reasonable. The staff is always welcoming and cheerful. The venue is cozy, with only three tables that can seat four people each. If you’re in search of comforting, home-cooked style dishes, this is definitely the spot for you."

"Been wanting to come to this restaurant in a very long time since I loved food in Spain when I went, but having this in my hometown Washington height’s is just priceless, first off I have to say the service is exceptional! Make sure you ask for Oliver, he is a server and bartender he makes the most delicious caipirinha. He recommended the ribeye steak and it was amazing! Loved it! Will come back again for the Skirt steak. They have a full bar, nice tv’s to watch your favorite games and just have a really nice time."

"The service at this restaurant was truly disappointing. Despite ordering five dishes, the guy who seemed to be the manager (an older man who didn't speak fluent English) attempted to clear our table five times, even though we were still eating (I obvs said we’re still working on them). He repeatedly instructed other servers to take away our plates while we clearly had food left, as seen in the image l've attached. To make matters worse, he told us we needed to leave soon because another party was coming, despite the hostess informing us when we arrived that we had the table until 8:30 pm. It was only before 8:00 pm when he told us to leave, and we still had a good 30 minutes remaining so I told the server that we still have time and he said, “Oh” then he left. LOL This behavior was unprofessional. I will never return."

"The food was outstanding and our waiter was very good however I have two points of contention . The first is I requested âstadium style seatingâ. The response was they could not promise to seat us on the upper level. I was not concerned until we arrived for our 4:45pm reservation and noticed openings on the upper level. This begs the questionâ¦if you canât promise a particular seating area and my party of four arrived firstâ¦why then weâre we not able to sit there? The second really petty issue had to do with my request for a second small dish of olives. The waiter said, âIâll see what I can doâ. When it didnât arrive I asked about it and the response was the olives were portioned out . I have to tell you, it was a real annoyance. When you consider the total cost of our dinners plus wine and dessertâ¦these two issues did not add up to a sincere effort to accommodate your customers."

"As time went on, I noticed that my guest received all their tapas, while I was left wondering about the status of my paella. After waiting for about an hour, I decided to flag down my waiter to check on it. It turned out that my order hadn’t been entered into the system. A manager soon approached to let me know they were prioritizing my paella and that it would be ready in about 20 minutes. When I finally received my dish, it was missing the modifications I had requested. I understand it was a rainy day and the restaurant was bustling with large parties, which likely contributed to the chaos. However, it was disappointing that my delay went unacknowledged for such a considerable amount of time. While the managers did a commendable job in trying to rectify the situation, this experience stood in stark contrast to my previous visits in Barcelona, which had always been exceptional. It may be a while before I decide to return."

"The food was very delicious but my mom ordered a canteen and for the second week they told her that it was more expensive and that they had charged her more so she stopped ordering a canteen. Next I ordered a canteen for a week, then I went to renew to order another week and I They say that the price is different because I didn't order from there and after I insist that they look for my order they tell me the same thing that they had told my mother which is more...because they were wrong and that they had charged me less by mistake. I don't understand That two different clients with 2 different addresses have the same experience. Call the sunset corner, it is farther from my house and they charge me less for dropping off food. What a shame I have been a customer of this little corner in Kendall for more than 10 years but I can't trust who is wrong and who has the right price. So it is better to find another place that won't change me every time I come back for more."

"Yummy! One of the best Mexican restaurants in town. All locations are amazing, but this is the original. Horchata is delicious here and the food is great. If your vegetarian make you a bean rice and cheese burrito and it's super good. If you eat meat, all choices are great. Very recommended."

"Saturday afternoon lunch stop for my husband and I. Very clean and well decorated. Latin music plays throughout the restaurant and I almost got up to dance lol. Erick was our server and is very nice. He bought out some complimentary fresh garlic buttery bread (pan). We had an order of empanadas to start. They were very good especially w/ the sweet salsa served w/ it. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich that was good but had to add mayo as it was a little dry. My husband had the pork sandwich in which the pork was very moist and seasoned well. Our drinks were just a fountain coke and Corona. The check was pretty steep for lunch $52 Before we left I did ask about the house made Coquito “Coquito is a Puerto Rican beverage made with vanilla, coconut milk, coconut cream, rum and spices that is traditionally served during the December holidays.” A bottle of this drink is $28 which is pricey BUT it’s oh so good. I def left w/ one and almost drank the entire bottle by myself. Happy holidays to you all and STAY SAFE"

"We have gone to the Columbia Restaurant several times. It’s usually a good experience. This last experience was ok but could have been better. We waited approximately 15 minutes till our waitress came over to serve us. I was just about to get up and get a manager but she showed. Once we got waited on, things we fine. No other issues."

"We have been coming here for years but the food and service is no longer up to par as it was before. The last time we visited was 2 months ago and tostones were greatly and pork chops were dry. Not to mention the steak my son ordered was well done when he asked for medium. The flan, which I've always loved was off. Decided to try again today. There was barely any air in the place. Their thermostat said 84 degrees. It was 86 degrees outside. The waiter did just that, waiter. We weren't brought any water or offered to take our beverage order for 10 mins. When he did he brought 3 glasses of water. There were 5 of us. The food was unsatisfactory yet again. The General Tso chicken was more like sesame chicken without the sesame seeds, the broiled fish lacked its usual savoriness and the maduros actually looked like dried and shriveled. We also ordered the squid fried rice and it had not squid. Perhaps just the ink. We will not be going back. Not only bec of the food but bec it was uncomfortably and dangerously hot."

"Very noisy environment. The food was somewhat on the bland side, definitely underseasoned. Also, the tomatoes, which were an important ingredient in several dishes we ordered, were rather tasteless. The scallops were nicely cooked, however, but tho octopus was ovecooked."
