"The food was outstanding and our waiter was very good however I have two points of contention . The first is I requested “stadium style seating”. The response was they could not promise to seat us on the upper level. I was not concerned until we arrived for our 4:45pm reservation and noticed openings on the upper level. This begs the question…if you can’t promise a particular seating area and my party of four arrived first…why then we’re we not able to sit there? The second really petty issue had to do with my request for a second small dish of olives. The waiter said, “I’ll see what I can do”. When it didn’t arrive I asked about it and the response was the olives were portioned out . I have to tell you, it was a real annoyance. When you consider the total cost of our dinners plus wine and dessert…these two issues did not add up to a sincere effort to accommodate your customers."

Every l thing was fantastic: the only exception was my husband’s dish, the skate, was way too salty.

We went there for their 4th of July experience and it was amazing! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Plus we had the best seat in the city for the firework display. Special thanks to our server Tina for making the evening so fantastic!

This restaurant in West Michigan is a must-visit meeting spot that everyone should check out. The overall experience, from the personalized service to the stunning ambiance, is exceptional. The only thing that rivals the ambiance is the incredible presentation and deliciousness of the food at MDRD's. View menu

we had been looking forward to the mdrd and it was not disappointed! my man and I ordered 3 tapas (lamb hacks was our favorite) and two desserts (the lemon was incredible) and a few drinks (all excellent.) the waiter was very friendly, knowing and attentive. literal it wouldn't have been better off! oh and the ones would have been breathtaking.

Although a bit pricey, I thought it was worth it. We ordered 4 glasses of house wine, an appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert, which came to 300 in the local currency. The dessert, a strohbeere and chocolate torte, was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The scallops and steak/tenderloin entrees were well-prepared and not overly large. We especially appreciated the personalized touch of a "happy jubilee" message written in chocolate on the dessert plate, and all the employees wished us well on our special occasion. I was impressed by the coordination and service. A must-try after-dinner drink was the exceptional old fashioned cocktail. Overall, a nice job by the restaurant and I w...

"Littlebird was our date-night restaurant on a getaway weekend trip to Grand Rapids and it was a fabulous experience! They sat us at the adorable table right next to the window for some excellent people-watching, served us promptly and kindly throughout the entire meal, and found unique ways to make the meal special and memorable. We ordered several drinks while we were there, most notably a classic daiquiri with Clarin that was a delicious and challenging cocktail. All the cocktails were carefully selected, well crafted, and highlighted the best of a spirit or seasonal ingredient. The food was also spectacular, of course. We ordered a Peach Summer Salad that was dressed in hot honey that was decadent to eat along with the Blooming Mushroom, Smash burger, and a Salmon dish. Each dish was well portioned, carefully seasoned, and thoughtful. We were also happy to receive feedback on our menu choices when ordering to ensure everything worked well together. Of note, it was clear that the meal was going a little longer than usual. However, the bar staff really showed up and struck up conversation with us about rum and rum cocktails that was a lot of fun. They made us feel welcome and we felt that they were happy that we were enjoying our meal at their place. Altogether, this was a really fun and tasty meal that was also really well priced for the experience and quality that they deliver. We will certainly be back as there are many more dishes (and daiquiris) that I want to try!"
