"I find this to be one of my favorite breakfast shops in Grand Rapids simply because the food is stellar. It sounds a bit odd and intimidating at first ramen and bulgogi for breakfast! but you 'll find everything is smartly proportioned. Don 't get me wrong, it 's still a big breakfast, but eating a ramen bowl or bulgogi burrito doesn 't feel much heavier than a bagel sandwich elsewhere. The coffee is good, not great, but they 've got a variety of options (pour over, espresso, nitro, and a bunch of seasonal offerings). Service is quality, but slow: there are usually one or two people working. The decoration and ambience are the weakest part here, best described as nondescript coffee shop. All the personality here is in the menu, but it 's still a great meeting space for business and friends alike."

My coworkers and I really enjoy going here for lunch. The only reason I don't come more often is that it can be a bit pricey for a café lunch. I absolutely love that the Korean corn dogs have become a staple on the menu, and their sandwiches are perfect for lunch. The only negative experience I've had was when I ordered a type of green tea latte, which I found disappointing. I’m not sure if I misunderstood the menu, but I was expecting more of a matcha latte, and I’m not certain if they offer that. However, the staff was very accommodating and happily offered to remake it for me, so I don’t hold this against the restaurant. View menu

Unique food options for a cafe with good coffee and a nice modern vibe. I enjoyed the ambiance and the high tables right next to the window which run most of the length of the restaurant. The spicy chicken sandwich was of good size. The sauce was sufficiently spicy without being overwhelming and has a deep chili flavor that melded beautifully with the chicken. The chicken had this nice tender fattiness about it and the egg was a nice touch. The greens cut that richness and the bread was nice and soft. It was very tasty and filling. My wife enjoyed her avocado toast, pretty standard. I will say, It is on the pricey side but enjoyed this place overall

Poutine with maple cold brew topped with pumpkin cold foam. At first, I was unsure about this combination, but I ended up enjoying it a lot! The fries were wonderfully crispy, and the gravy was delicious. While the katsu balls weren't my favorite due to the seasoning of the meat, they were still quite tasty, especially with the cheese inside. Honestly, I could eat this poutine every day! As for the maple pumpkin cold foam cold brew, it was fine, but after a few sips, I realized I didn't enjoy their cold brew as much; it just wasn't for me. However, D liked it! They nailed the fries—super crispy, even with the gravy on top. I found the katsu cheese balls enjoyable, but I wasn’t overly enthusi...

"Littlebird was our date-night restaurant on a getaway weekend trip to Grand Rapids and it was a fabulous experience! They sat us at the adorable table right next to the window for some excellent people-watching, served us promptly and kindly throughout the entire meal, and found unique ways to make the meal special and memorable. We ordered several drinks while we were there, most notably a classic daiquiri with Clarin that was a delicious and challenging cocktail. All the cocktails were carefully selected, well crafted, and highlighted the best of a spirit or seasonal ingredient. The food was also spectacular, of course. We ordered a Peach Summer Salad that was dressed in hot honey that was decadent to eat along with the Blooming Mushroom, Smash burger, and a Salmon dish. Each dish was well portioned, carefully seasoned, and thoughtful. We were also happy to receive feedback on our menu choices when ordering to ensure everything worked well together. Of note, it was clear that the meal was going a little longer than usual. However, the bar staff really showed up and struck up conversation with us about rum and rum cocktails that was a lot of fun. They made us feel welcome and we felt that they were happy that we were enjoying our meal at their place. Altogether, this was a really fun and tasty meal that was also really well priced for the experience and quality that they deliver. We will certainly be back as there are many more dishes (and daiquiris) that I want to try!"
