"The older gentleman is was bothered to get me 3 small things of ketchup. My bun was not gluten free as it said it was and for a $15 burger I only got a couple small pieces of onion and the smallest slithers of pickles possible and yet still charged me extra. It comes with maybe 9 fries. I ordered a basket of the chips and they are brown and so hard. If you are looking for good burgers Citizen Burger in Charlottesville is worth the $15. My children won?t even eat them. The customer service here blows and the owner must be cheap. A waste of $30 on a meal that would?ve been better from McDonald?s or Burger King. I have been serving for 7 years and every time I am shocked by the carelessness but this time I won?t be returning."

"This place is our new go-to for the amazing oil-free options. We feel phenomenal after eating the Mango tacos (no crema , the papaya roll, and the avocado cream cheese roll. They also have some bomb grab n go items like raw jalepeno poppers (so addicting! cult cheeze, flax crackers and kale chips. The best shake is the Cosmic Caravan! "The food is fantastic and the space is just lovely. I usually don 't complain about service, but if I were to improve upon anything on this visit, it would be the service. Is it possible to be over served? ...YES. I felt that we were rushed and our main courses were brought out before we even finished out first course. I was asked four times...YES FOUR (twice by two different people)...if I was still working. Well, no I was not working, I was enjoying a lovely meal. And for a more expensive restaurant like this, the management should teach the staff the fork resting position versus the silverware position signalling all finished with my meal . We felt very rushed and would have liked to enjoy our first course a bit longer before attempting our main."

"You know those sterile office buildings with a sad commissary where building occupants begrudgingly pay a few bucks for vending machine-quality sandwiches? Jolt n Bolt should be what these spaces aspire to! I've always walked by, but never made it in. This place doesn't have any curb appeal, so you have to enter next to the loading dock either off Illinois or through a conspicuous door off 3rd. The actual seating area is very sparse, but I like that this place creates daily menus. They serve the simple cafe staples, but with quality: salads, sandwiches, quiche, soup, and pastries. I got a quiche combo for lunch. The salad portion was decent, and the quiche hit the spot. I also grab macaroons every time I'm here. Their pastries are by Gerhard Michler, and they are all excellent, including their chocolate chip cookies. I love seeing their big, open kitchen. The place is clean, the food is not fussy, and they offer a different entree every day (pizza, burger, etc). If you need a consistent, reliable cafe for a quick lunch grab, this is the place!"

"I ordered three sandwich dishes: two with rolls and one with croissants, along with a vegetable dish. Unfortunately, the meats were not very fresh, and the vegetable platter was quite disappointing. "Overall rating: 4.8 I am disappointed by the low ratings due to the creepy service. I have been a customer at this restaurant for years whenever I am in the area. I always order the Nutella Fitzgerald, it's delicious! It's a great place to work or just relax by yourself. I remember one time I went to their location in EV with a Starbucks cup and they refused to serve me. That location eventually closed down. Haha. I recommend stopping by for coffee but don't expect top-notch service as the servers are usually young and inexperienced."

Kristi did great at letting us know what beers/wines were available for order thru her distributers, recommended wines my guests loved, and even took our sparkling cider to chill for us. She was very organized, timely, and pleasant. She walked through our timeline with us to ensure she would have all events covered. Price was great. "Very nice special occasion restaurant. We waited a while for our food (they had a wedding going on too) but our server was very attentive and kept checking and keeping us updated. My husband had the steak with potato and roasted Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were amazing (I had to sneak a few). I had shrimp and grits. It was ok wished I’d gotten the steak though after seeing his. When our server found out it was my birthday we got a free lava molten cake which was perfect with another glass of their cab. Very nice night overall. There was a couple of large groups, one that was rather loud and swearing. If I’d had kids I might have asked the server to quiet them down. I feel like if we had complained the staff would have addressed it, but we were close to finishing anyway as they were getting more wound up."

"My wife and I have been waiting months for Alaina’s to finally open up for dinner and it was well worth the wait! Their food has always been very creative, always fresh and beautifully presented. We had hoped that if their lunches were any indication of what dinner would be like, we wouldn’t be disappointed... we definitely weren’t!!! We had their steamed little necks in a heavenly broth, grilled shishito peppers that were different and really delicious, followed by a shaved cauliflower salad that was quite unique and very tasty. Our entrees didn’t disappoint, with my wife ordering an ‘airline chicken with spaghetti squash and broccolini and I having the schnitzel with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. How we ever managed dessert, we still don’t know, but we shared an apple pie a la mode ... another home run!!! Try Alaina’s, the restaurant is wonderful, owned by two charming, lovely ladies and we promise you won’t be disappointed!!!"

"Not only does this place try to pass itself off as upscale but the service is also not what you would experience in an upscale restaurant. Nobody pulled out our chairs or opened the door to our cars so I am not sure why they feel the need to charge nearly $200 for a porterhouse steak. I’ve eaten fine dining before and a dj blasting loud music is not something you find in fine dining, it is ghetto. The servers were nice but again, nothing special for it to have cost what it cost. What really upset me is I had asked for a box for my porterhouse. My fiancé and I had a total of 4 pieces of it together before asking to take it to goand when I got home and put everything in the fridge I noticed that we were missing most of the porterhouse! There is no way all the meat we left to take home was in this tiny container. Chinese takeout containers hold more! This is robbery!!! I called to speak to a manager but the after hrs service took a message and said a manger will get back to me. This establishment should be ashamed for not giving their customers the full amount to take home even though I paid the full amount. I would never recommend this place, absolutely not what social media hypes it up to be and overpaying for no reason."

"The place in inside s office building but very easy to get too and has plenty of parking. The place is quite big inside and has some seating outside as well. I ended up getting a latte bagel and a breakfast burrito. All of which were well above my expectations. I got a caramel latte and I loved that the coffee could still be tasted over the milk and caramel. The bagel was one of the best I have ever had. They are bagels that are shipped in but they taste like they were freshly made that morning. The breakfast burrito was a great mix and had a lot of meat while still being under 5 bucks. Also the guy that greeted me was super welcoming willing to get me something to bring while I was looking over the menu. Overall a great experience here."

"What went wrong?. We have visited this restaurant monthly since their opening. First visit was impressive, although servers were not 'broken in ', but all good. Each time since has gotten steadily worse! Servers don 't seem to know their menu at all and inevitably, at least one dinner plate must be sent back to the kitchen. Lousy dinner for the rest of our group who will have a cold dinner by the time the 'mistake plate ' actually gets cooked! Unbelievable for a 'grill and rotisserie ' to serve undercooked or overcooked meals and shows a lack of training and education by the kitchen staff! "After having an amazing cake at a friends birthday in June, I ordered Eat Moore Cakes for a birthday celebration. It was absolutely beautiful and amazingly delicious; super moist, great flavor, and not overly sweet. I had it delivered (in the city) and it arrived on time with no issues. Guests are raving about the cake days later!I will definitely order from Eat Moore Cakes for future celebrations"
