"as far as vegan Chinese food goes into denver, there is not much. this place is fantastic. I asked a few times and got the same answer, the vegetarian menu is all vegan minus everything with egg noodles. also the mock meats are gluten-free and the dishes can be gf if indicated with gf soy sauce. my fave is the sesame chicken with tofu, the Vietnamese spring rolls and spicy edamame! - aazing! better when you dive because the tofu is so crispy and perfect. still great, but slightly softer. the one problem with this place is the delivery now closed for a month. the same applies to online ordering and they don't pick up the phone every time. sometimes you have to call back a few times. somehow frustrating, but eating is worth it!"

"Really the best chinese food of my life! The shrimp toast was aromatic and the outer flakes. The shrimp lo mein and spicy shrimp with peanuts were also great dishes. Our waitress managed not to make both dishes hot but to keep all the flavors. Even the tea was fragrant and incredible. We'll be back."

"I haven't dined at this restaurant in years due to a previous disappointing experience, and unfortunately, nothing has improved. The pork fried rice was overcooked and filled with chunks of white rice. While the boneless spare ribs were tasty, there were only 4-5 pieces included. The orange chicken lacked enough orange sauce, although it was decent. The service was good, but overall, I wouldn't choose to order from here again. The delivery service rated a 4, with the meal type being dinner and costing $30-50 per person. The food received a 1 rating, while the atmosphere and service were both rated a 4."

"Our first visit to The Fountain Room and we were congratulated on our anniversary by the host, and then found a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff at our table. The server Chelsea was very attentive, offered great suggestions, surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate. Noise level was moderate but we were seated in the back and could hear each other just fine. We had petite filet, wagyu meatloaf, and the whipped mashed potatoes. The appetizers looked great. I’m gluten free and they made suggestions for alternative appetizers but we ultimately talked ourselves out of it. The cocktail and wine list was great, 50% off bottles of wine on Monday, we will be back for that alone. The server swapped out the complimentary brownie for dessert for sorbet so I could enjoy! We will return!"

"the food was excellent, all four of us were amazed at the quality. two of us had a mixed seafood dish in a potato basket, one of us had the Mongolian bark (so delicate and tasty), and one of us had a pork shell (also very delicate). the weeping list was great and the mysterious happy flight was funny (and all three wee were weeping I would order again). many gluten-free options on the menu including a flourless chocolate cake. the service was also a 10. I can't wait to go back!"

"We ordered a large amount of food for our daughter's birthday through their website. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it took longer than expected. However, when they brought out our order, they apologized and gave us an extra item, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious as usual. The only minor issue was deciding on the spiciness level, as it was unclear if 1 or 5 was hotter. We chose 2 and found it to be plenty spicy, which we enjoyed. We highly recommend Dragon's Pond. One tip for those picking up food is to be aware that there are many restaurants with outdoor dining on Lotus, which may limit parking. You may need to park in the garage across the street, which was free as of 11/15/2020. Enjoy!"

"Four generations!. I had dinner with my parents at the Lotus Garden. I have taken my own kids there all of their lives. Now, I take my grandkids! The Lotus has been there all this time for a reason, the food is great! Egg rolls and barbecued pork are house made and delicious! Best sweet and sour pork and chicken you 've ever had. Not to mention, chow mein, lo mein, fried rice, moo goo gai pan, and Szechwan. Some things they have done the same way forever, the cracker and bun basket anyone? Many items on their American menu are not to be missed either. Best Manhattan 's ever! Best cocktail? I say Rum Cow, but fabulous tropical drinks reign supreme here! Don 't forget to say hey to Jimmy! He was the star of the show there in the 70s (still is ha! , when I was a little high school kid working in the 'coffee shop ', which is now the buffet next door. Hopefully the Lotus Garden will be serving great food for 50 more years! And, to the gentleman who has issues with the decor, the Chinese kitsch is part of it man!!!"

"Has been going there for over 2 years. Lots of dishes, tasty food and wonderful service. Price is affordable. If anyone interested to try out chinese dishes, I would highly recommend it. Also, if you do not like too much spices, when you order spicy food (which has chili logo beside the item name on menu), tell them you will take the 'low ' level spicy. "First time. Poor server, unknowledgeable of dim sum menu. Wanted crunchy noodles, whereas was told they weren’t on the dim sum menu. However, table next to us, enjoying a plate full of crunchy noodles. Next, we were told you were out of pork ribs on the dim sum menu. Following that, we were told the long rolls people had ordered off the dim sum menu were like Mexican churros and that our soup choice was not on the dim sum menu. Wrong again. Because two tables ordered soup and rolls, no sugar, and were dipping them in the soup, along with their dim sum choices. Finally, our first experience poor and perhaps had we had a more knowledgeable server we might have returned for lunch."

"I absolutely love this place! Every time I place an order, it arrives at my doorstep within 20 minutes, and the food is always beautifully prepared and still hot. I can’t stand when I order from other places and have to wait over an hour only to receive cold food. Here, the prices are very reasonable, and their customer service and delivery time are exceptional. "I particularly enjoyed the dim sum, including the chicken feet and spare ribs, which were both very tasty. The vegetable lo mein was also delicious, although I would have liked to see more vegetables in the dish. This lack of vegetables actually reminded me of my travels in Asia, where noodles often come with minimal vegetable accompaniments. The standout dish for me was the hot and sour soup, which was hands down one of the best I have ever had. It had a beautiful smoky flavor to it, adding depth to the dish without overpowering it. "I had shrimp and broccoli for lunch, and I was very disappointed. The shrimp was poorly fried, and the breading tasted like plain flour. The fried rice was undercooked as well. When I went back for a refund or to exchange my meal, the cashier was rude. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he wanted to argue with me about how many shrimp were left in my dish, as if there was nothing he could do. He initially offered me three wings with no sides, then changed it to two wings with rice. The length of time it took to address this situation and the arguing with a customer is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning!"
