"Told the waitress when we sat down that we wanted a specific cake in the window, she forgot to hold it and when dessert came around the cake was sold to someone else . Then they charged me an extra credit card processing fee which is illegal as per section 518 general business law because the actual total wasn’t displayed in dollars and cents when I went to pay. As far as the food I found it overpriced and lacking eye appeal, basically a chicken cutlet with mozzarella on top and nothing else. Going further angelinas kitchen will be anyone’s best bet. No wonder why this place is up for sale"

"The pizza was delivered quickly and hot, and the crispy crust was a nice touch. While the sauce was bland, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Unfortunately, the cheese was a complete disaster; it weighed the pizza down like the Titanic. Even after letting it sit for a bit, the greasy cheese fell right off when I tried to pick up a slice. It was literally that bad. It makes my usual go-to spot, Giardinis, which is just decent when I need something quick, seem like a four-star restaurant in comparison!"

"Had not been here in more than 10 years and was very glad I chose this place for my business lunch meeting. Food was excellent as I remembered, service was great, being there when we needed something but otherwise leaving us to talk. Prices are fair and it was quite which allowed for good conversation. I don't usually like gnocchi but their pepirosso was to die for as was the chicken parm."

"Best traditional Italian food I have had in ages. Anchovies are an option on the Caesar! That’s hard to find these days. The garlic bread is superb. The pesto stole the show. The limoncello dessert paired with the house port sent us over the moon. The house Chianti is superb. The ambiance is more festive than the usual traditional Italian place. The service was great. They know how to make you feel taken care of without interrupting conversation. They were kind enough to squeeze us in early on NYE without a reservation. We got lucky. We will be back!"

"I’ll be back! Wonderful lunch! Went with a coworker and had such an awesome experience! We shared a Caesar salad and the dressing was great! I had linguine vongole which is one of my faves so I’m incredibly picky and it was delicious! Clams were perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful and perfectly balanced. My friend had the gnocchi with black truffles that he enjoyed. The server was attentive and charming. The place is adorable exposed brick and wood."

"So 2 stars for the service which was great, waiters constantly came by to fill up our water glasses. But the truffle pasta was a major disappointment. Can't believe I wasted my birthday lunch on this bland meal. I paid $15 for the shaved fresh truffles on top which I thank God for because the fresh truffles was the only thing with any flavor on my plate. I also paid $28 for the cheese wheel upgrade but imagine my surprise when the first waiter just dropped it off table side and then the second waiter immediately just twirled it around a fork and placed it on my plate. No mixing or scraping of the cheese wheel to pick up any pecorino cheese flavor. When I asked our waiter about it, he said they finish cooking the pasta in its sauce on the cheese wheel in the kitchen. Ok but my pasta clearly had no sauce either. My husband had the linguini w half lobster, the tomato sauce overpowered any crab or lobster flavor. The lobster was also overcooked. We came here for a special occasion and left very disappointed. If you're looking for good food, look elsewhere. So many better options in the neighborhood."

"For the exception of the wait staff (they were excellent) we had a terrible experience. Made a reservation a month ago to sit outside in the alley. Our reservation was at 4pm and we had a few guests arrive at 4:15pm. The rest of the party was running late due to traffic. I tried to call the restaurant to let them know we were running late but the phone just goes to voicemail. When we got there the manager told us he gave away our table in the alley and put us on the sidewalk where he proceeded to tell us that if a stroller came by to “be on the look out” because we were interfering with the flow of traffic on the sidewalk and he could get in trouble with the town about it. Mind you the table was set up that way when we arrived. He then made a remark about a 6:30pm reservation at the same table after us and how they would possibly be delayed now, which seemed like a booking issue on their end and not really something you should say to a customer. We came to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and he really just put a sour taste in our mouths and basically ruined the rest of our experience. Instead of laughing and enjoying each others company we spent the remainder of the evening talking about how he spoke to us and made us feel. I’ve never seen a manager talk to customers like that and make us feel so badly about being late. Yes, we were late and that was our fault but also out of our control given the amount of traffic there was on a Saturday afternoon. I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant and having a good experience but it seemed to be very clicky and I guess because we weren’t regulars that’s why we were treated the way that we were. Food was also just okay for the pricing, nothing special. Safe to say we won’t be returning."

"This is a fantastic local restaurant offering authentic Italian cuisine. It's family-owned, and the service is exceptional. Our group consisted of two couples, and this was our first time visiting, but our friends have been here before and highly recommended it. We savored the rice balls, Caesar salad, veal parmigiana, veal francese, and pasta—all of which were delicious. It's a BYOB establishment, so be sure to bring your favorite Italian wine! We capped off the meal with cannoli, which was a delightful finale. They also have a lovely bakery."

"our server Kevin was fabulous, the menu was delightful, homemade everything; pasta, sauces, desserts. beautiful honeycomb tile floor, gorgeous bar area, espresso, overall aces! I had the eggplant appetizer and it was perfect! hot and cheesy and the sauce was delicious! tiramisu was delightful, prosecco was wonderful, and again out waiter Kevin was so helpful and polite, great recommendations, even the busboy and hostess were sweet and hard working, compliments to the chef. We loved the place, walked there from Mt. "We had a large party of 16 people, and Numero 28 was more than happy to accomodate this in the middle of Manhattan which can be difficult. So qudos to them! They were proficient in taking orders, however, could have been more friendly when doing so. Understandably did not split large bills, so spent a lot of time at the end of the night collecting cash around the table. A simple annoyance rather than a negative note. The food was good, no one had anything to complain about. All in all, a good night."

"We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We had intended to go somewhere else for pizza, but couldn’t get a table. I'm so glad that happened! This place was amazing. The meatball bowl was the perfect appetizer; the sauce was absolutely delicious. I could have happily filled up just on bread and that sauce! For our main course, we chose the prosciutto, arugula, and shaved parmesan pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, and the combination was excellent. I would highly recommend Roman Nose. As a bonus, we arrived before 6 PM, so we got happy hour prices on our drinks!"

"The prices at this restaurant were significantly higher than what was advertised online. Paying $30 for a small pizza felt like a rip-off. "Wow! A few years ago, we visited Frank Pepe's in New Haven and had what we considered the best pizza ever. About a year later, a CBS Reviewer survey ranked the top pizza in the country, but after that, we discovered Arturos in Maplewood, and we haven't looked back since. Every single time we go there, it's an incredible experience. They make some of the best pizza for miles around, and it could very well be the best in the country (perhaps even the world!).
