"When I order food at a restaurant I generally look at the ingredients and choose accordingly based on my likes or dislikes. When the dish is presented to me by my server I expect the dish to accurately represent what was displayed on the menu. For the most part that was accurately done with exception of one ingredient I was not expecting which will cause me not to return to III Amici ever again. That extra ingredient was tobacco from a patron not even eating on the outdoor porch. I, as a customer should not have to get into a confrontation with another customer based on a restaurant's inadequate rules. The menu should have clearly stated that my seafood salad and my mushroom pasta dish would have had the putrid stench of cigar tobacco in my meal. That was not disclosed on the menu as an ingredient I would be ingesting as I begrudingly ingested with each and every bite. This won't be happening again since cigarettes, cigars and other smoke products are something I do not enjoy ingesting while having my meal. But hey thats just me. If you don't mind ingesting tobacco with your meal than III Amicis restaurant is the restaurant for you."

"We were passing through on our way home and stopped in for Dinner. The staff was very efficient and helpful, Food was incredible, great flavors, good quantity, served hot and fresh and the entire meal was just perfect. First time ever that a restaurant acknowledge the comment on our reservation about this being an Anniversary Celebration. We were full from all the food and had ordered dessert to take back to the hotel. However the Owner and staff still came over with some ice cream with a candle, sang for us and congratulated us on our Anniversary. Thank you for a great dining experience"

"We found Listrani's catering menu online, and reached out to see if they could do a last minute catering delivery for a school trip in McClean. They were super flexible, accepted our tax-free school EIN, and accommodated our changing schedule at the very last minute. We had 30 high school students and chaperones, and purchased two orders of Chicken Tenders and Fries, one pan of macaroni and cheese, one large Caesar Salad, and Listrani's even through in some Foccacio on the house. We were here on a coach bus, so they delivered to our hotel, and included all of the paper products and condiments we needed for free. The food was delicious, affordable, ample, and the students all approved. If you are visiting the area and looking for an easy big group order, your best choice is Listrani's! Kid-friendliness: For large group school/team catering, they have delicious chicken fingers, fries, and macaroni and cheese that even the adults will like!"

"My wife and I, with another couple, paid $39.99 per person for Easter Brunch on 04.16.17. While the service was somewhat adequate, the quality of the offerings was extremely poor and limited for what we were paying. We half-expected custom omelets, eggs Benedict, salmon locks, a variety of breads, cheeses and meats. Instead, we got scrambled eggs, shriveled breakfast sausage, greasy bacon, roasted baby potatoes, vegetables and some fruit and salad. The carved prime rib was substandard and the ham was overcooked. Desert looked like it was bought in bulk at Costco's except for the canoli which were filled basically with a mix of sugar, flour and corn starch. When asked what beverages were being served we were told that they had endless mimosa or **** Marys. W e opted for mimosa but it was made from concentrated orange juice with barely a note of cheap sparkling wine, plus we only found out afterwards that it was extra $12 per person). Our bill added up to almost $140 per couple for what we could have had at a local diner for under $30 per couple. A total rip-off as far as we were concerned. Certainly not up to standards or expectations for a restaurant that hangs onto a great name for respectability but falls far short of its branding. We will never go there for a special meal again."

"For many years Toscana and Next Door (their wine and tapas bar that shares the space) have been a favorite of my girlfriend and I. We make it a point to come here a couple of times every summer while she is here from studying abroad. The food is some of the best in all of Calgary. Whether you're just passing through or live here on a more permanent basis this is a must stop, for dinner or for lunch. Toscana is well suited to groups (my workplace has their Christmas party here every year) and Next Door is amazing for a romantic setting on date night.Add to this attentive staff, excellent chefs and an owner/manager who takes the time to greet customers and thank them for their patronage and you have one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to visit. Prices are quite reasonable and the selection is great. I can't recommend this place more."

"We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through the city, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. Since we were eight people, we ordered a variety of pasta dishes, and each one was delicious. We tried the pesto ravioli, chicken penne, shrimp linguine, and bolognese penne, all of which were fantastic. The tiramisu was outstanding as well. We highly recommend this place!"

"I had the chef's special dinner of Hokkaido Scallops which were perfection as was the Parmesan risotto, and the Panzenello salad, which was really delicious. My guests split the scallops and had roasted beets which were great. We had prosecco rosé and Merlot with dinner and finished off with tiramisu and gelato. Our server was very attentive and we had a wonderful time. Our table was in the wine cellar room, which has a nice ambiance and it's fun to watch the waiters climb the ladder to get to the top bins. As always, enjoyed our evening very much."

"So disappointed ! This was my first order form Bek's, although my mother has eaten there in house, and said it was good. We decided to get delivery from Slice. It took longer than they stated on the app, the order arrived cold, and our dessert was missing. I will never use Slice again, and would only try Bek's again if we were to eat it there. Evidently, it does not travel well. And skip the cheese sticks. Cold, dry and bland. The frozen ones from the grocery are better.I updated my initial stars to 3 because leftover, the pizza wasn't bad once reheated). I didn't give 4 or 5 because the cheese sticks were pretty bad and the delivery was incredibly slow. If you are busy, let customers know so they can decide to come pick up the food instead of waiting well over the promised time for cold food."

"Always enjoy coming here, never really had any major issues dining in. We usually dine-in during late lunch hours so never had much an issue with service save one or two times when it was exceptionally slow, but the latest experience was great and our server was super attentive. At the time of this review I decided to try something new this time, so I got the Napolitano which had anchovies on it. I had forgotten how salty anchovies were so I couldn't bring myself to finish it, but otherwise I've not really had any pizza I haven't liked. It's a nice airy dough, usually light and crispy. Personally I love the normal brick oven pie with pepperoni (the kind that cups up , the vodka pie is also really good and I also enjoy the Margherita pie. All traditional Italian style pies, so one pie per person; which can be a bit expensive and adds up if you get an appetizer. We usually just come for the pizza and have a slice or two left over from each of our pies."

"This used to be one of our favorite restaurants for years. One entree was grouper for $40. The fish was smaller than the palm of my hand. The other entree was eggplant parmesan. It used to be an appetizer, but now it is a big entree. There was so much cheese, I couldn't find the eggplant. The bread used to be complimentary but now it is $7.28. We couldn't eat because it was so stale. We didn't realize there was now a charge for bread. One of the female staff stood next to an adjoining table and talked very loud to those customers the whole time we were there. Obviously, they knew each other. Was that really necessary? The waiter was fine, but we were disappointed in our experience. We will not be returning to a restaurant that we used to enjoy."

"We got there when the restaurant opened. They were clearly not ready for customers. My husband went to the bathroom and had to turn on the lights himself. He had only turned on one set of lights. When he went to the bathroom again at the end of the meal, it was still just the one set of lights on, meaning no employees had gone in there to make sure the lights were on in the bathroom, and that was more than an hour after the restaurant had opened. There were employees sitting at the bar folding napkins during our meal. Someone (the host, I think) was walking back and forth with canisters of lighter fluid near our table. It was unclear who our server was supposed to be. The bartender took our order at first and he had to ask for it again because he couldn't remember everything. A woman seemed to notice that no one was taking care of us and started tending to us more. It was pretty awkward altogether. Service was still slow. The food was only okay. This place calls itself a martini bar, yet they do not have a martini menu. How strange. A couple who was seated after us got their meals before us somehow. How did they get their meals faster than us if we were there first? The food was only okay. Mussels were tough. Lamb shanks were flavorless. The worst thing is that after we had gotten our meals boxed, paid the check and left, I noticed that not all of my food was in my box. I ordered the lamb shanks. It is supposed to have 2 shanks. I hadn't even finished one shank, but noticed only one shank was in the box. Why would they toss perfectly good meat instead of putting it in my box? I was really angry. We will not be coming here again."
