"The restaurant offers great views and the food is delicious. However, the service was a bit lacking considering the prices. It seems to be a common issue for hotel restaurants, as many of the servers were young and inexperienced. One standout server, Korey, provided exceptional service. On one occasion, we had a reservation for 9 pm but felt rushed as the kitchen was closing for the night at that time. This seemed surprising for a Saturday night in a resort town. Despite this, we continued to dine at the restaurant during our trip because of the good food, accommodation of dietary restrictions, and beautiful views. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant, noting that it may be subject to strict policies due to its location in a hotel."

"Love this place the atmosphere is great, food is great, great experience, great service, very nice and quick you dont have to wait a whole hour for food. I love that you can have your food like you want it cooked. I haven't been to a place where they fry your home fries upon request so yes love this place. I guess my only recommendation would be an upgrade to the tables chairs it's needed but I'm sure that's coming soon. Hopefully Parking: Parking is ok but I do think they could redo the parking lot on account of potholes but hopefully they'll fix that so that more spaces can be available. Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu kids they give kids crayons menu for entertaining its a nice family friendly place Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking up front the entrance is accessible for wheelchair"

"Food: the portions were great, but the below average quality leaves you wondering how they can charge so much. The fish appears frozen and unthawed prior to frying. It consisted of four, square, nuggets of fish, a handful of fries for $17.99. The cup of chili screams mid bland, plain (no cheese, onions, hot sauce... nothing), $5.45 cup, room temperature. The black and bleu burger was really good, but chips are served with it and cannot be substituted. The nachos were six decent sized chips, cheese, tomatoes, and jalapenos with chili, sour cream, and salsa on the side. These were fairly good, but extremely anemic for a $14.99 appetizer. The cole slaw tasted more like fish than the actual fish. It was inedible. I believe the spotlight was on the turkey club that was actually very good, and portioned and priced fairly. Service: Umm... what service? We waited while the people that came in after us were served before we were even approached all after being seated. The silverware was dirty, and a menu had blood on it. The server was very friendly after she got to us. Atmosphere: this seems good, but when three people are having an $87 lunch that was worth $50, tops, it's very hard to enjoy the place you are sitting. The prices are on the menu, and I'm not upset about the money. I'm upset that I'm paying Texas Roadhouse prices for Taco Bell quality food. After tip, this was over $30 per person. This was one of my wife's favorite childhood restaurants, and she's complained since sitting down. I do not believe that we will return for a VERY long time. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"Was contacted by the owner Cara after my initial review. What I got wasn't an apology or hey come back we'll make it up to you. No, I got excuses and Cara went on the offensive putting the blame on us because we showed a lack of patience. The owners arrogant and is one of those people that doesn't like to admit error. She boasts how long she's been in business and turned the tables making the experience our fault. I hadn't mentioned it before but will now. They also have this cute little sign on the table that's double sided. One side has some gobbledygook writing on it, which faces the customer and looks pretty ordinary. This I assume is down with a purposeful hand as to not directly advise the customer of the process increase to the bill, but later justify it when the customer gets angry. If you take the time to flip it around and read it, it states that there is a 5% add on fee for food cost increases added to your final bill. So when people get pissed, they can say hey it's posted in the table. That way they don't look like they're being greedy. Let me tell ya, the price you pay for a cup of coffee and a meal is already super inflated at that place. Yeah, it's cute, it's cozy and you can buy a candle or jar of jelly on your way out. But cmon. And I also gotta say, the food was very good several years ago but we noticed a steep decline over the last 5 years or so. Not good. Not special and to be honest, I've left there kinda angry in the past because the meal was silly expensive for very low quality. There ya go Cara how's my update? Lucky for you the cafe is located in a tourist spot because if you pulled that garbage with the **** service, low food quality and sneaky cost additions, you'd be taking a lot more heat and quite possibly out of business. Your kind of business model is predatory in nature and your only saving grace is the location. It certainly isn't the food and most definitely not the service. Jesus loves you. Have a great day"

"Literally the most unacceptable bathroom I've ever seen in my entire life. I'm 33 and this is the first time I've EVER complained about any bathroom. This one is absolutely abysmal. There's only one toilet in the men's room, it has saloon-style doors, with no lock (see my uploaded of). So everyone can see you right down the center, and a non-observant patron WILL swing the doors wide open on you. Absolutely unacceptable. Literally worse than music festival porto-potties, because at least those lock so you can relax."

"This restaurant might not be the ideal option for health-conscious diners, but the service is exceptional! Blaire is amazing with guests and holds a special place in my heart. Ken is sincere and interacts wonderfully with customers, plus his food is delicious. My only suggestion is that I wish they would reintroduce the old coffee. All in all, the service, food, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect 5 out of 5!"

"My mother-in-law remembered the BBQ Shrimp she had more than 50 years ago and recommended that we visit on our trip to New Orleans. We made reservations for our group of 6, although it was probably not necessary during the week. The atmosphere was lovely and nostalgic, and when I FaceTimed my mother-in-law, she confirmed it was just as she remembered. Don't be fooled by the term "BBQ," as it's not what you might expect, but it was very flavorful. I recommend peeling all the shrimp and letting them sit in the sauce."

"This review focuses solely on the pies. Over the years, my family has enjoyed pies from this place, and it's convenient to be able to pick up a slice on a whim. They offer a fantastic variety; it's hard to choose a favorite among the coconut, German chocolate, and blueberry pies—each is delicious. The key lime pie is a bit lackluster, lacking the tartness I prefer. They also have intriguing options like Snickers pie, s'mores pie, chess pie, and many more unique flavors. I haven't tried the cobblers yet because they don't look very appealing in their presentation, but I suspect they taste good. I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 4 because the display case could use a good cleaning, which would improve the overall experience."

"we wanted to find out what we had for lunch from this parking lot and chose this because we were already parked in front of us. we didn't expect much because it was empty in there, but I'm telling you. first the customer service was great. she even offered to give us tassen for our drinks and was very sweet. eating was not what we expected. directly at the flea mouse it was a large part of the food for both of us. I can't remember what burger I got, but it had chipotle paprika and it was just delicious. also I am a fan of ranch and hers was. my partner has fish and chips that were also quite good. would eat an impromptu again!"

"It is used to be called Koch Lupe, it is Garcia's, our server was super friendly, food was delicious I had Machaca con huevo, it comes with Mexican rice beans and you can choose from flour or maize tortillas. My companion had breakfast number 3, it had sausage, ham, eggs, waffle and hashash brown. Also order a sopaipilla for only 70 cents! Milk and coffee."

"This restaurant is a longtime favorite of ours whenever we're in Minnesota. We've been coming here for several years now. They have recently updated the lighting and flooring, but the benches are still uncomfortable. However, the wait is never too long. The food is consistently delicious and the portion sizes are generous. I ordered a side of bacon and received six pieces for the price of three. My son also received a large portion of bacon. The blueberry cake he ordered was the size of a dinner plate. I opted for the French toast, which was tasty. There is usually a wait to be seated, but we were seated immediately today. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"I ordered the half sandwich along with soup and salad. The barley soup was delightful, though the salad was quite typical. I also really enjoyed the patty melt, which was delicious. My friend had the California Chicken Sandwich (if I recall the name correctly), and she absolutely loved it. It was topped with bacon, avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chicken. The service was prompt, and the staff were all very polite."

"Quaint little country Cafe near Akron falls. Service was great. Food was even better! My partner and I both had homemade corned beef hash. There was a whole lot more meat in this than there was potatoes it was perfect and delicious! He had a side of pancakes which he said were abundant and delicious I had a side of home fries which were in appearance home cut there. As they were that uniform cubes that you get from a frozen bag of potatoes but rather larger uniform cut choice of onions or no onions. I went with onions. They had gluten-free toast which is a great bonus for me as I have to be gluten free. My partner had rye and said it was very good. Waitresses kept the coffee flowing! I never ran out and I never ran out of creamer! We are planning to come back for lunch or dinner and hike to the falls again. Definitely recommend this place!"

"Excellent overall their fried pickles are absolutely incredible! Reminded me of the South and was a very nice taste of home. I went with several people, we ordered a variety of menu items and drinks and everyone was satisfied! I had their grilled Rueben and it was stunning; their cheeseburger was also excellent. Highly recommend going here for a classic American dining experience! Service: Dine in"

"I visited on a Saturday afternoon and was looking for a family-friendly restaurant or coffee shop, but everything seemed to focus more on coffee spots like Dietucks and Scooters. However, I found this gem just a few miles off I-80—it was definitely worth the trip! The place has a charming small-town diner vibe, and even though the building seems a bit dated, it was clean and well-maintained. Tommy's was quite busy, and the food not only looked delicious but also tasted great. They prepared the dishes exactly as I had requested, which I really appreciated. The prices were fantastic too! It’s a lively spot with a great atmosphere—definitely a place to keep in mind."

"Comes out to $30 per person, only food ordered no drinks or coffee. As others said, most of the workers are stuck up, rude, lackadaisical, and seem like they are completely over it. They haphazardly barely wave you to your seat once they are ready to seat you. People were confused and kept walking behind the host only to have passed up their intended table, then had to back track and climb over people in that claustrophobic place. They throw the menu at you and then wait and wait for them to come take order. I waived a waitress down to get my order taken. One customer prepared to sit down at the bar and took off his pullover sweeter fanning whatever dust, dandruff, pet hair, etc onto my food. I had to move my food to the far corner of the table. A waitress with a big behind in spandex tights was helping the table next to me and her behind was in my face. Luckily there was no odor or I would have lost my appetite. The guy who brought me my water was the same person who was collecting the used plates with leftover food after people left. He was touching the main door handles and then handed me my water with all five fingers holding the brim of the cup where I put my mouth. Then to top it off, you have to get up and pay at the cash register and the tip choices start at 18%. I tipped 15%. Food is good but expensive and you have to be prepared to be exposed to the above."

"It seems like they have a whole new team of waitresses and serving staff. I used to come here for Tuesday bingo at 6:30 PM, and I love how the bingo caller clearly announces the numbers, repeating each one twice. It's always the same friendly ladies running the game! They display the drawn balls on one TV screen, but I wish they would show them on more screens and keep track of the called balls. The only dish I used to like here was the steak bites, but unfortunately, they don’t offer them anymore—likely due to pandemic-related changes. However, I've discovered a new favorite: the floppy bacon potstickers! OMG, I had never tried potstickers before, and they were absolutely delicious! Our waitress, a lively and chatty blonde woman, along with her male coworker, was quick, efficient, and entertaining!"
