"Outstanding in every way... food, service, cost, and bakery goods to go all wonderful. Helpings are huge if you order from the menu as we did. As seniors, my husband and I easily could have shared a meal and wish we had. We did, however, each enjoy a complete other meal from the leftovers the next day. I would easily have left a five-star review if not for the horrible manufactured piecrust on otherwise delicious pies. I think coming to an Amish-style dining experience known for its delicious homemade family favorites, one expected a homemade-tasting pie. We purchased 4 slices of various pies to take back to our hotel but ended up eating only the fillings."

"The food at this restaurant was amazing. The crab and green tomato stack appetizer may seem like an unusual combination, but the sauce really brings it all together. It was so delicious that we make sure to order it every time we visit. Two members of our group really enjoyed the special New York strip with blue cheese. The service was outstanding, especially Tiffany's impeccable timing. She anticipated our needs perfectly. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and definitely plan to return."

"Bajis is a very quaint cafe on Old Middlefield, next to many car repair shops. I have come to always associate fixing my car and coming here for brunch/ lunch if its a quick fix. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and gives off a warm feeling. The staff is enthusiastic and kind. I had the omelett, pancakes, and milk shake, which are all stellar. The steak as expected is not going to be as scrumptious as at an expensive steakhouse. I sat in the outside area with my dog and was pleased to see they had radiators for warmth. While nice to have, the lights can get a little too bright/ hot for comfort. Overall I can highly recommend this place!"

"If I could give more stars I would. Johnathan our server was knowledgeable and very nice. The food was remarkable. Definitely fresh and homemade. Our table had the meatloaf dinner, fried chicken dinner and the country fried steak dinner. All were fantastic and the side accompaniments, mashed potatoes, fries and hot apples were delicious. Desserts were just as good, egg custard pie, strawberry cream pie and key lime. Portions were generous. Definitely will visit again and recommend that you try them out."

"I recently visited The Diner, a 1950’s themed restaurant, and had a mixed experience. While the service was good and our waitress was nice and kind, the overall experience was pretty poor. The food was just okay—nothing special and certainly not worth returning for. However, the biggest issue was the cleanliness. It felt like the place hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned since the 1950s, which was quite off-putting. All the seats had duct tape to “repair” the vinyl benches. The salt and pepper shakers were clearly never cleaned. The bathrooms were so disgusting that I didn’t even want to wash my hands. There were mounds of dust build up on the vents and ceilings. Just think, that is what is blowing around while you eat and they prepare your food. Cleanliness should be a priority above all for any restaurant! Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back and can’t recommend this place to others based on my experience."

"Well…..this was our second visit to Ostin’s. Our first experience was absolutely perfect. This time disapponted they just couldnt get it right. Our reservation was for 6:30 got seated on time ordered an Aperol Spritz which was totally different from other places they mixed it so not the same. We had 2 salads which were huge and deliciius at 6:40. We both ordered the Beef Tenderloin which one we requested no potato and extra vegatable.Salads came in 5 minutes.. took a few bites of salad and out comes our dinner we had not even had barely any of the salad. My entree was wrong came with potato and extra vegetables ..waitress left thm on table. We did not want our entree’s until after we finished salad so I called a manager over and he said this should not of happened and took both back. When we got them back a second time , I guess kitchen cant read instructions, still came with potatoes?? and it was completely med- well not med rare as originally requested and no extra vegetables. So a third time it came back STILL WITH POTATOES…and almost well done was told they rushed it out by that point disapponted in the entire experience we just ate a bit and boxed it. Waitress advised food that night was coming out too fast and management was getting upset with kitchen. It was so busy with athletic teams just wasnt the atmosphere at all for a $200 meal! so if you want to enjoy an “ unrushed” meal order your salad first then eat it and then order your entree after you finish your salad nd relax but make a later reservation into the evening it is just too noisy around the 6-7 hour.. or go to Blue Mermaid for a great adult dinner it will be cheaper and so much nicer. Just sayin….."

"we had a new waitress, laekyn, she needs more training. she didn't know much about the beer, she messed up our order. my man didn't get both meats on his fajita. I asked for my steak medium. it came with so much pink, I had to send it back. it wasn't cooked enough when I got it back. She didn't check us much. the door for the disabled entrance brought cold air into the room. I went to the bathroom. it must be updated as well as the next room where we sat. the bathroom had an old drier that didn't work. it must be removed. the kissing on one of the benches has been divided and must be replaced. eating was good what we got, taking out the problems I mentioned. we didn't get another drink or dessert because we didn't want to spend more money. we were already disappointed. we celebrated our jubilee and don't go out much. it was disappointing that when we got the opportunity to go out, our dinner experience was so poor. we had a gift card and they gave us a little discount so we didn't have to pay anymore. I had heard so many good things about this restaurant. I was disappointed. it's probably good to take off, but I'm not going to dip again. margaret. rading, ww"

"We are so glad that we read the amazing reviews of this restaurant prior to our visit. We loved it so much that we visited twice! We were very impressed with the food, especially the bacon and the pie. The pie is even house-made without use of low quality sweeteners (i.e. corn syrup). Everything was very reasonably priced. The setting was cozy, and the staff was kind. The food came out fast for a restaurant as well. We only wish we left with more pie! We can't wait to visit"

"Second time eating here. First time was for breakfast and I wasn 't that hungry. I had the Eggs Any Style which comes with potatoes or grits toast or a biscuit. I got it with potatoes and a biscuit along with bacon. I enjoyed it too much. The second time I brought my mother here for lunch. We had the creamy crawfish dip as an appetizer. It was so good and big! I had the Chicken parmigiana which was very good! I loved the sauce. My mom had the liver and onions and she said she liked it a lot. I 'll take her word for it. Oh the service was great!"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to get bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"We stopped here for the first time in YEARS one Sunday afternoon to find a VERY busy diner run by one waitress, one cook, and one dishwasher we saw pop out once and only ONE open table and people standing in line for carryout meals too! Our waitress apologized profusely, got a bunch of tables bussed while we looked over the menu, and proceeded to explain she's been there 8 long, busy hours and her closing waitress just called off! I missed her name but she said she's been there over 10 years, made sure we had a wonderful dining experience and the food was YUM! Get the omelet!"

"We've been going to Romilos for years with the family and had great experiences. But, we've been there about 6 times in 2022 for Trivia and have had issues almost every time. Maybe it's a bit unfair to rate them during this time when it's hard to find help and when they are super busy, but they need to adjust if they want to host Trivia.A few events that happened on different occasions this year: the server screwed up our credit cards and I ended up getting charged for a more expensive meal, the server dropped garlic bread on the seat and picked it up without replacing it, the Greek fries had barely any Feta, the Greek salad was very under whelming (unless you like lots and lots of lettuce), they screwed up our order, and the server is rarely in sight or checks in. Understandably Trivia lasts for 2-3 hours and we order food and drinks but the servers and kitchen staff need to step up if they commit to hosting Trivia."

"This place was horrible!! We should have walked out from the first minute we talked to Stephanie who was rude from the start. She asked can I help you and I replied table for 4. Her reply was you need to go stand behind those people in the snarkiest rudest manner possible and just points a finger to the door. Apparently, not knowing the other party told us to go ahead of them. Stephanie, waited on our table and I 'm guessing after realizing her mistake says that she thought we were cutting in front of them. The open faced turkey and biscuit had absolutely NO taste at all and very little turkey. They served an alleged quarter lb. burger that was smaller than any quarter lb. burger that I 've had and didn 't have the bacon on it as ordered. My wife ordered the Walleye fish dinner and they tried to pass off Perch. The perch was fishy tasting which suggests it was not fresh. When I mention it to Stephanie she did not look happy copped an attitude but took it off the bill. She never offered to bring the correct dish or anything else.She told us that we would be charged for the fries! My wife did not eat many because they were served cold. She never got a plate of food after traveling all day. We get the bill and we were charged for a salad that we never ordered or received. She tells us that the cole slaw was a salad. HOW REDICULOUS!. She takes that off the bill. We get the bill and she charges SOMEONE ELSES bill to our card. I would NEVER eat in New Harvest restaurant again. Terrible service, bland food, questionable fish, small servings and a waitress with no clue what customer service entails."
