"My best friend and his girlfriend brought me here on Valentine's Day. This was my first time eating here and I will definitely be coming back. Everything from the moment we walked in the door till the time we left was incredible. The service and the food was exceptional. I wish I could remember our waiter's name, we sat in the bar area and he was the bartender. I got the eggplant Parmesan and it was awesome. Portions were huge end up having to take most of it home. The place was immaculate. I can't say enough about the place. Definitely would recommend it, 100% would recommend it. Thank you for an incredible dining experience!"

"The staff was quick and attentive, giving us a warm welcome. The service at this restaurant is exceptional! This is definitely my go-to spot for chicken cream chop. The lamb shank was incredibly tender, juicy, and delicious. The red sauce they serve is top-notch. The Greek style lemon rice soup was fantastic. The traditional Greek salad dressing is exceptional. The pita bread is delicious. The garlic sauce was good, but not my favorite. They brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us, which was tasty. We will definitely be returning!"

"Downward spiral. Once was a great place to pay hi end prices for hi end drinks. Very laid back was our favorite place. Now Scott is gone. Stephanie is more about business less about quality. The new bartender has horrible BO. No I am not bitter just an old customer who has seen this place outgrow its niche. It's hi end fixtures food music but average drinks. No longer my go to place it has just become the most expensive place to go get an average drink. I am so sorry to see it go this route. Go there and be blown away by the decor but buy beer otherwise you're paying 10 bucks for a 5 dollar drink."

"The Adrian location of JR's has definitely gone down hill. For a carryout order you might wait 5 min or 25 min for them to answer the phone to take your order. The last person I had to deal with at the pickup window was rude. Want to dine in? The service inside hasn't been so great lately either. Used to be you'd get the great service you expected, but lately it's hit and miss. Just depends on which server you get. If at all possible, I'll drive to the Tecumseh or Brooklyn locations before I'll go to Adrian again, even though Adrian is closer. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"To make matters worse, I was still charged for the appetizer after returning it untouched. When I inquired about it, the waitress rudely told me they wouldn't take it off the bill just because I didn't like it. She never offered to suggest something else or check if I needed anything. Instead, she rolled her eyes and became visibly annoyed as my friend tried to help her 5-year-old son choose a side for his kids meal. When I mentioned that I wouldn’t be returning, her response was, "That's fine, you don’t have to tip me either." I was polite the entire time, which made her behavior even more frustrating."

"I have an online order Sunday 11/20. I got my order and my steak sandwich was missing. I went up again to get it after the call. The food sat on a table behind the podium and it was all about 5 minutes at least before someone actually helped me despite a waitress standing on the podium on the front. I even said I was here to get the rest of my order and still ignored me. Another girl came up and gave it to me and didn't have to ask what I was for. That means the first girl could have picked it up and handed it over to me. When I came home, it was cold and the pommes were wounded. We have recently held subdivision sessions to bring you money because people order food. This is not the type of service I expect, and I am really unhappy."

"After a day of shopping at the outlets, my hungry family discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant online. The food was excellent and the portions were generous, complementing the superb service. We tried six different types of wings, artichoke spinach dip, buffalo chicken dip, loaded fries, a burger slider, and a chicken parmesan slider—all of which were delicious! Our waitress was friendly and prompt. We had a great time! Although we live an hour away, we will definitely return!"

"Finally a burger place that knows how to season a burger. Thanks to the awesome customer service from my server (Sarah) she suggested the sliders. So I can order 4 different burgers to try. So I got the Greek, Flare, peanut butter, ohare. Man o man. The Greek was almost perfect. It had feta and olives on it. Only change I would do is put tzatziki sauce on it. Still really great! The flare was avocado, cheddar, chipotle sauce. That was really good. The peanut butter one had peanut butter, bacon. This one was ok. To make it great I would add a jam of sort. Maybe a bacon jam or a berry jame to give it that sweet and salty taste. The peanut butter alone made it kind of dry. Not the burger just the whole bite. The ohare a was a grilled onion and mushroom. It was really good as well. Definitely coming back!!!"

"We just finished a delightful lunch for Mother’s Day, and we truly enjoyed our entire experience. Camryn was an exceptional server, showing great people skills and a wonderful sense of humor. She was knowledgeable about the menu and ensured that my mom received her unsweetened tea with just a hint of sweetness, as she requested. The food was delicious, and the restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere. Don't forget to save room for dessert! While the environment is pleasant, it could definitely benefit from a little refresh. It was great to see the manager actively assisting the staff with clearing tables and getting involved. Killington’s is a bit off the beaten path and not the easiest place to find, but I appreciate that as it adds to its charm as a local spot."

"We really want to love this restaurant...it's local and has a great patio! But the service has been awful 4 times in a row always taking way too long, bringing the wrong food or apps at the wrong time, etc. Food is just so so though their menu seems promising. Execution is not great. Local beer is just average. Our server did bring free ice cream for the kids on this visit and comped our appetizers in recognition of the terrible service...which was a nice gesture. Hope they get better!"

"It's a little confusing as the restaurant name is also referred to as The Lighthouse or Winfield Lighthouse Restaurant (they need to work on naming consistency), but make no mistake, the food here is excellent. I had the fried chicken dinner special, and the chicken had a good amount of flavor, and also was juicy inside. Though they were shorthanded on help for the night, they managed to get the food to us quickly, and were friendly. Would come here again!"

"Edit: Just noticed the comment from manager/restaurant and love the fact they take the time to engage with customers. Also, I want to somewhat amend my comment on price. As I realize costs at this point as well as changing times throughout pandemic, these are things to take into consideration. Realistically you can't get a meal at a drive thru for less that $10 and the quality is... what you expect. At least at brick and mortar, locally owned businesses with known high reputation you know you're getting what you pay for.Also, while the menu items I mentioned below are no longer available I ventured out and tried their pepper dip and it is hands down the best dip I've had regionally. Also, for the extra couple dollars for extra pita, they LOAD YOU UP! thank you!!! :DOrdered takeout here one night. Was right on cusp of being too late but since I was ordering three appetizers they were super accommodating and assured me they would always be as well. Was a bit pricey, almost $40, but the portions were fair and the food was good. Will definitely return and it’ll be sort of my occasional special treat, especially the Buffalo cauliflower and asparagus!!!!! Also good to know veg options, although I’m not vegetarian many of my friends are."

"First time at Rose and Thorn. Just wasn't impressed with the food or the drink I had. Ordered the empanadas which are fried. The shell was very crunchy but the inside meat was cold. Then they brought the white sangria. The menu said it was wine with fruit, but the fruit was one piece of dried lemon and one piece of dried orange. Just not what I think of when I think of sangria. For dinner, I ordered the chicken avocado salad. It was greens with pickled onions, sliced avocado and chicken salad. There was no dressing on the salad. I don't like a lot of dressing, it was a bit dry for no dressing. To be fair I didn't say anything about any of it, just didn't feel it was worth it. My companion did like their pork chop, but my meal was a bust. Seems like they will need to step up their game to make it in the competitive Denver restaurant scene."

"Decent bar-food. Stopped for dinner while at Mid-Ohio. Entering the restaurant, it's a bar surrounded by several booths and high-tables. The service was both fast and friendly questions about the menu were answered without wavering. Not being exceptionally hungry, I opted to share Nachos and went with French Onion Soup and a Mini Chef's Salad. The Nachos arrived almost immediately loaded with toppings. The sides of salsa and sour cream were very large a good size for sharing. The French Onion Soup looked good nice dark, rich looking broth with caramelized onions. Unfortunately the soup tasted like the salt shaker fell into the soup the only memorable flavor of the soup was the salt. The Mini-Chef's salad was, well, as salad. The greens were fresh although they looked like a pre-packaged salad mix not necessarily bad, just nothing special. The ham and turkey on the salad weren't especially flavorful although that's not the focus of a Chef's Salad. All told, the restaurant is a bar that serves food and shouldn't be misconstrued as anything else. The food was OK not great or outstanding. Anyone visiting this establishment and looking for gourmet would be sorely disappointed."

"Great little mom and pop. You go there for the food and camaraderie, not the view. Not a big deal at all. It was my first visit and it was pretty apparent from the get go that everyone that walked in was a #Regular! There was hugging and good energy at every table. I 'm in the process of moving while fasting, and I may have been a tad too anxious for coffee and food. Next time I 'll know. The coffee was gr8, a very big deal to me. But let 's talk about the corned beef hash...#NeverHaveIEver had such a delightful platter of spuds and protein set b4 me! It 's was delightful AND made to order (which now I know does take a little longer, so I had them omit the onions and green peppers, (both of which really bother me . That 's a pretty big deal as well, cuz you KNOW it 's not pre-made.I don 't do bread, but I ordered a cup of sausage gravy and, yes, I smothered the hash. (Was SO hungry I did that b4 taking individual photos. Sorry abt that. It was a large portion; more than I would 've gotten most anywhere, but I managed to tuck it all away.... would 've used a biscuit to clean the plate if I 'd had one...it was that good.Thank you, Dee for stopping by.
