"My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner. We enjoyed the atmosphere immediately with the live music playing outside. We ordered several drinks from the bar and they were delicious!! I ordered pizza which was by far some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. He had chicken fingers which were plump and sauced just right. Oh, and the garlic knots were out of this world! Fantastic, friendly service rounded off this pleasant evening. We will be back again!!"

"We tried these guys when they first opened and it was nasty.. we chalked it up to new people, new business etc. We decided to give them another try today for brunch. Absolutely disgusting. Biscuits were burned, gravy was terrible, fried green tomatoes were not quite burned, but a stage before burnt. The big breakfast burrito had burned potatoes in it.I understand why all of their great chefs leave this place. There is no attention to detail, serve unsatisfactory food and don't really care about what or how they serve. I'm guessing they get a high rating because people in Bellefontaine don't really understand what delicious actually taste like. Let me help you folks out... the Flying Pepper, 600, Chefs House, and Mixx are excellent food establishments. Not this place."

"We live about 15 minutes away however had never been to this restaurant so thought we 'd give it a try. When we arrived for our 7 pm (Saturday) reservation there were only 2 other tables of people in the restaurant. As someone in restaurant manager this worried me a little bit since most really good restaurants would be very busy at that time. We decided to start with the charcuterie board to gauge whether we would stay for dinner. The board was a little slow coming out but it was beautiful and full of really great cheeses, meats, dips, olives, crackers, etc. We snacked on that for a few minutes but realized it was more my thing than my husbands so it became my meal. He decided to order the haddock and said it was the best haddock he has ever had at a restaurant. The food was all really good so I 'm still a bit confused as to why this place isn 't busy and can only chalk it up to location and maybe people just not knowing it exists. We will definitely go back again."

"TLW Club is amazing! We had a side of fruit and a couple lattes. Mountain Mint and No Name. Bitterness to the coffee, could be a bit more smooth. A must if you're coming for the food!! "The food here was so good I forgot to take pictures of anything but the pizza tots. They were a special and they were so good! Their pepperoni was perfect. I had the hot chicken sandwich and my husband had the hot Italian. They were both amazing, very saucy and the vegan meats were on point. Got a cookie to go, it was huge, soft and the perfect level of sweetness. Wish we lived closer so we could eat the deli meats and cheeses all the time. 10/10"

"It’s truly a shame with this Upscaled Hotel Dining that was left short. Waiter was not trained enough. Barely spoke other than taking our order. Took over 15 minutes to get drinks. Let’s point out, it was not busy with 3 bartenders on. As for the food, it was mediocre at best and the price you paid for it was nuts. Clearly this hotel restaurant should do an overhaul of training about service times from start to finish. I have been in the business for 10 years , this was disappointing."

"Experience I have always seen this place from the street but I have never entered to try it out. It has a great atmosphere and it seems kind of classy inside. Overall it's pretty nice in there. I would go again. Customer service So if you have read my reviews, you know that I am big on customer service. Here when you order something you're more than likely going to have to go get the food yourself. And you're going to have to grab all your condiments. At least that's how it was for my service. Overall The outside was nice and the inside was amazing. My overall experience with a place is five stars. Although at one point during my visits I need a napkins and had to get back up and get some. "We reserved a table for 5 at 6:00pm on a Saturday. It wasn’t busy at all, so we assumed we’d get our food quickly. Not the case. Our waitress was friendly but when we asked a question about the menu (not an allergy issue) it took her approx. 10 minutes to come back with an answer. She took our drink and food order at the same time. It took around 10 minutes to get 3 sodas, no alcohol was ordered. We waited well over 30 minutes for our food, if not closer to 40 45 minutes. Another table of 5 came in at least 20 minutes after us, and got their food before us, though they had a different waitress. When we got our food, we didn’t see the waitress again for at least 15 minutes if we needed anything else. Onto the food...1 got the Mac cheese with waffle fries, 1 got the Mac cheese with onion rings and 1 got chicken fingers and fries they all liked those meals. 1 got the strawberry goat cheese salad as a wrap with French fries. The wrap was good but there was too much dressing on it and the menu said there’d be grilled chicken in it but there was not. The last meal was a burger with vegetables. The burger was good but the vegetables tasted like grilled dirt. For 5 meal and 3 sodas (plus 5 waters) our total came to $83. Not worth the price for some average to awful tasting food. If the place was busy I could understand the long wait once we ordered, but it wasn’t busy. In the main seating area (not in the bar), There was only 4 tables occupied and the separate bar area wasn’t busy either. Very disappointing, especially for the price. We will not be back."

"To sum it up we enjoyed this food more than Sharky's, but Sharky's atmosphere was better. Schooner's was better at both. It took us about an hour to be seated on a Tuesday night in March. It was bussssy. Police were present for what I assume was crowd control and to make sure it doesn't get rowdy. There was a bar part separate from dining. The rib bucket was $26. They were ok. Glad to gave tried them but nothing special to get again. Alligator bites were good. The mahi mahi bites were not as good as Schooner's. Son's shrimp poboy looked good. He needed more than 2 packs of mayonnaise though. The Italian Sub was also decent but can go to Publix for a better sub half the price. Glad to have experienced but probably will keep searching elsewhere"

"I moved to Beaufort two years ago and made this fine dinning establishment a regular visit. Their food is top notch, nothing on the menu will not make you finish the plate and be happy with your choice! However, they do have their own way to prepare things and they don 't Iike to change from the menu. An odd choice to me is their delicious Blackened Mahi-Mahi (so good) topped with a black bean and corn salsa (so bad). This fish is difficult to cook and keep it moist. So, often a restaurant tops the fish with a favorable moisture rich sauce to add to the overall palate. However, the bean and corn covering was as dry as the fish!! Not good. Not good at all. Wish they would try a little finesse with matching their food/topping combos. Then again, a choice entrée prepared with exceptional timing doesn 't need a topping . Be safe.."

"First time at Collins River yesterday, lunch and went on a recommendation of our daughter. Let’s just say, we we not disappointed! Lori showed up at our table with full energy and a smile and with a little guidance from her, we landed on a choice. There were so many great options! Food came out fast, Lori was fantastic! "Very disappointing experience. Took 5+ min to get anyone to work the host stand; took another 10 min to be sat even though there were open tables. Brunch menu stopped being served while we waited, which was disappointing since that wasn't stated anywhere. Ordered food and drinks at the same time; drinks showed up before food. Both sandwiches we ordered were dry and missing ingredients (turkey BLT with no lettuce or mayo). No apologies or offers to make it right. Two drinks and two sandwiches was nearly $60. Worst dining experience I've had in Chicago in a long time. The view did not compensate for the terrible experience."

"Hands down the BEST ribs I have ever had!!! The meat literally fell off the bone. I had a full rack of ribs with potato salad and baked beans. My wife had the pulled pork plate with fries and cornbread salad. We had only taken a couple of bites and knew we'd be coming back. All of the sides we had were absolutely delicious. "My family took me for an absolutely delicious birthday lunch at Batter Up Childersburg on Friday. Pictured is The Big League catfish and shrimp plate with hush puppies and two sides for $13.49. Fresh flaky catfish fillets, 6 tender crunchy-battered jumbo shrimp, subtly sweet hush puppies...all cooked and seasoned to perfection. The rest of my family had the lunch buffet and loved it, except for the smoked bbq chicken which was visibly dried out (needed a dipping sauce or to be placed in the buffet warmer with sauce on it).The cost of the lunch buffet was $10 tax includes salad bar, hot buffet, drink, roll, and today 's dessert, decadent chocolate cobbler. Sweet Presley was our server, but it was also nice to see all the friendly servers work as a cohesive team refilling drinks, checking on the tables, and delivering the hot food. Restaurant was clean. Both the salad bar and buffet were fully stocked. Atmosphere was fun baseball themed and welcoming. We WILL definitely be back...the best cat fish I 've tried since moving to Alabama 4 years ago. "Cute place. Very popular at 7pm on a Saturday night. Although they were noticably understaffed, and there was a 30 minute wait; the staff were friendly, playful, yet still professional. Once seated, drinks were ordered. Several bar items were sold out or not available. Ordered their pickle chips and Lucky Cat Egg Rolls. They came out to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The pickle chips were fresh out of the fryer, but the egg rolls had been sitting for a while. Weren't impressed with either. The chili cheese dog entre was H U G E! The Pot Roast Sundae was also about 3x the size I expected. Both were fresh, and made from scratch. Both were very good. I would recommend either one. Only drawback is that I honestly expected the Pot Roast Sundae to be served in an ince cream Sundae glass, not plated. Live and learn, it was still d licious and a much larger portion than would fit in even the largest Sundae glass. The bill was reasonable for a made from scratch restaurant and the service was great, despite being understaffed. We left extra for the tip. Lots of fun toys decorating the place.
