"I moved to Beaufort two years ago and made this fine dinning establishment a regular visit. Their food is top notch, nothing on the menu will not make you finish the plate and be happy with your choice! However, they do have their own way to prepare things and they don 't Iike to change from the menu. An odd choice to me is their delicious Blackened Mahi-Mahi (so good) topped with a black bean and corn salsa (so bad). This fish is difficult to cook and keep it moist. So, often a restaurant tops the fish with a favorable moisture rich sauce to add to the overall palate. However, the bean and corn covering was as dry as the fish!! Not good. Not good at all. Wish they would try a little finesse with matching their food/topping combos. Then again, a choice entrée prepared with exceptional timing doesn 't need a topping . Be safe.."

Holy ! !! You have to eat here! My family and I travel quite a bit and everywhere we go we try and find the local honey holes. We don't always succeed, especially on a first time attempt, but we got lucky on this one! Service was great, corn muffins were good, ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, brisket and burnt ends were perfection, BEST Mac and cheese I have ever had and the green beans were delicious! MUST TRY! Will come back for the food. This is sort of a hidden away spot. The dinning atmosphere is intimate and my waitress was EXCELLENT, couldn’t say the same about the front staff. It took us longer than expected to be seated despite it being plenty empty and several servers have seen us waitingHOWEVER The food is out of here good! My Shrimp and Grits was piping hot and the shrimp was big, grits was wonderfully seasoned and the entire dish was very well put together.
