"Well, I was sitting at a table with my family all afternoon. We got there at around 3 and were kicked out for no real good reason around 6. The big intimidating man-child security guard came over and asked for our id’s AFTER our parents left to use the bathroom. My brother gave his, his girlfriend gave his, and I didn’t have mine, so he took my drink, no problem. He bent and flicked my brothers girlfriends and came to the conclusion that it was fake. He asked for a backup, but never mentioned that a credit card is a valid backup. If he had mentioned that, then maybe this whole stupid thing could’ve been avoided. She said she doesn’t have another id, so he said you guys can’t drink. Sure, no problem. Take our drinks. Except, for some odd reason, your big scary man forgot to take my brothers girlfriend’s drink. We didn’t even notice at first, so she subconsciously took a sip of the drink in front of her. Then all hell broke loose. He comes over all fired up, swipes the drink from her and says in a raised voice that we gotta go. Didn’t wait for our parents to come back or anything, we had to go now. Unfair, unkind, unprofessional. I was disgusted with how this man was treating us, and I am especially disgusted with the ‘owners’ response to our reviews. As far as I know, the customer is always right, like it or not. Also for the record, we were never told anything about wrist bands. Maybe if you had taken everyone’s drink, and not (maybe purposefully) left the drink with the girl who had the suspicious id, this whole stupid thing could’ve been avoided. Maybe if your security guard didn’t perceive our calm rebuttal to his request as “initially lashing out,” this whole stupid thing could’ve been avoided, like you said. It was a real pleasure being there as the food was actually pretty good, but the culmination of our experience has driven us away forever. If you don’t believe our story, just check the cameras, you’ll see that there was no “lashing out” until we were officially kicked out. Who wouldn’t be upset after being treated so unkindly for no reason? Have a great day."

"We had a reservation, but there was plenty of space, so we didn't have to wait. However, I can see how reservations will be essential during graduation season and other special events. Julianna opted for their twist on a Mimosa, which features prosecco, while I went for the 'Spicy' Watermelon Margarita, which includes jalapeño slices for an added kick. Both drinks were delicious. To start, they served cornbread muffins with real butter and homemade grape jelly, which was a refreshing touch. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, while Julianna chose the Eggs Benedict Meatloaf. Shrimp and Grits is a comfort food classic for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed Porters' take on it. The shrimp were perfectly sized, well-seasoned, and beautifully grilled. The grits were delightfully creamy, enhanced with a lovely white cheddar sauce. Julianna's dish was quite intriguing as well. At the base, there was a slice of Texas toast topped with a generous square of meatloaf and poached eggs. She loved it, and I had a bite of the meatloaf, which was very tasty. For dessert, we tried the Bananas Foster and their special chocolate cake. The Bananas Foster was standard, but it came with peanut butter ice cream, which was a delightful twist. The chocolate cake was amazing—think of a deconstructed lava cake served with raspberries and truffles. It’s hard to describe it without sounding extravagant. Enjoy the accompanying pictures, and I hope you get as hungry as we did!"
