"I recently dined at Mother's Grille in Timonium and found the experience to be a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the food was enjoyable, and our server, Ariel, provided excellent service, enhancing our overall dining experience. However, there was a significant downside. Upon receiving the bill, I discovered an unexpected surcharge for using a credit card. This information was not clearly communicated beforehand, as it was only posted near the hostess stand or somewhere on the menu—places easily overlooked by most customers. I found out about the customer notification only after questioning the manager about the surcharge. Had I known about this surcharge in advance, I would have opted to bring cash to avoid the additional fee. This lack of transparency was disappointing and has impacted my decision to return. Clear communication regarding payment policies is crucial, and unfortunately, Mother's Grille fell short in this regard."
