"The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers a pleasant ambiance. The booths feature high backs and thin individual cushions, while the tables are paired with well-padded chairs for comfort. The menu is impressive, showcasing a wide variety of Japanese dishes. The sushi is outstanding, and the prices are excellent given the generous portions and high quality of the food. Soft drinks are served in original plastic bottles, which you can pour into a glass with ice if you prefer, and you have the option to take any leftovers home with you. The green tea is available hot or cold and is sourced from Japan. The udon noodles in soup are particularly tasty. Among the many sushi places I've tried in Collin County, this one has quickly risen to one of my top three favorites. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Takeout containers are also available. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning."

I had a wonderful takeout experience with easy ordering and pickup. The chicken fried rice with butter sauce was delicious, and the portion size was generous.

Incredible quality! After spending time in Tokyo, Japan, it's so refreshing to find a nearby restaurant that truly captures the authentic Japanese style. The hot sake is... View menu

The service was good, but the sushi was quite average. It's a kid-friendly place with a diverse menu, but unfortunately, it just didn’t impress us enough to want to come back.

The miso soup was flavorful and served in a generous portion. The Monster Roll was impressive with plenty of rolls and tasted great as well. The Water Lily Roll was even more delicious, with larger rolls. Overall, we...

We had dinner for the first time at Zen Sushi Grill. It was delicious! There were several different types of sushi so there was something for everyone. The waitress was so nice and had a smile on her face the entire time we were there. All of the staff were super friendly. I highly recommend and will definitely be visiting them again! View menu

I had a lovely lunch date here with my wife. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and the staff was friendly. I usually stick to the same sushi roll at every sushi restaurant I visit (see photo), and I have to say this place served the best one I've ever had. It had just the right balance of ingredients and was perfectly toasted. All the sushi we tried was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be returning. The decor may be a bit dated, but it contributes to the charming hole-in-the-wall vibe.

Food was very good, but the hibachi was a bit pricey. I am used to paying those prices for the full hibachi experience. Our server offered us steamed rice or fried rice. No mention was made of an upcharge for the fried rice. When the bill came, there was a charge of almost $10 for 2 fried rice. When I questioned the server, she said there is an upcharge for fried rice instead of steamed rice. I said that should be mentioned at the time of ordering. No apologies from the server. Not sure if the meal was worth the money.

"Our family has been ordering home delivery from this 54th Street location for over a year now and we have never had an issue with delivered food. My kids love the street kid burgers and waffle fries. Other household favorites include the burgers, steaks, gyro, and gringo dip. We've eaten at location twice. The location is about what you would expect from current day sports leaning bars. Lots of TVs, especially around the bar, an eclectic mix of memorabilia on the walls, and Americana leaning music, mostly country and classic Rock with the random top 40 from fifteen years ago mixed in.The first time the service was good. There was a slight mix up when our steak came out and I received another customer's well done steak, and he received my medium steak. The server noticed the mix up immediately and took both steaks back immediately. We were a few tables apart under the same server in the same section. Mistakes happen, the steak was re made, and it turned out tasty. Slight inconvenience but overall the food was good, service was excellent, and there was nothing to complain about. The manager came by and apologized all over himself, but we assured him everything was okay, that it was just a mistake, etc. We were not unhappy at all and the manager was very apologetic. Our must recent trip we were seated under a very attentive server. She took our order promptly, made sure we always had drinks more than half full on the table, and was very quick to remedy any minor issues. Unfortunately the quality of the steak on this trip was just not good. I'm not sure if the restaurant has made any alterations to the recipes being used to prep meat in the kitchen, but there was an overwhelming, unpleasant smoke flavor to the steak. I hesitated to send the steak back, but the server insisted another steak be cooked. I do not like to send food back, I apologized for inconveniencing her and the kitchen, but the smoke flavor was so overwhelming the steak was really inedible. When the steak was replaced it was cooked closer to order temperature and the flavor was a little less smokey, but still undesirably strong. It was good enough to eat most of and we took the leftovers home. After warming the remainder to eat at home it was quite rare on the end that was left uneaten in the restaurant. The steak was ordered medium and after reheating at home there were dark red areas in the middle of the steak. The overall texture was also not great, nearly like it was steamed and the sear was non existent. The server was, again, awesome. She apologized, informed the manager, discussed a course of action with the kitchen, and did her best to make it right. But at the end of the day the steak was just disappointing. I had hoped the manager would stop by so I could ask what changed regarding the steak preparation, but at no point did he stop by our table. Gringo dip was still great, my husband enjoyed his gyro, but the steak was a giant disappointment.Overall, despite the great service, the food being sub par at a restaurant (and in this economy) makes me think we should try another local steak and burger joint. : sad to say because we had really grown to like this place."
