"**Edited Review (12/6):** I had some friends visiting who insisted on going out for a late breakfast while watching football. I tried to warn them, but the TV behind the bar has been out of order for over a year. The bartender served 22 oz. beers that were filled with about three inches of foam. Our order of three beers and three breakfast burgers ended up costing $75. While the burgers tasted good, including the tip, our total was nearly $100. With staff unable to pour drinks properly, a non-working main TV, and seemingly no management to ensure things run smoothly, it's hard to justify spending that much. I understand it's a challenging time for restaurants, but spending $100 for what we received feels excessive. The 3.95% service charge related to minimum wage concerns is particularly troubling. As of 10/16/2022, I will not be returning for food. I spent $48, including tip, on a turkey sandwich priced at $20, which came with only five tiny slices of turkey and a disappointingly small amount of avocado. If you're the owner, you really need to address this. It’s unacceptable to serve something like this for $20. We've given this place multiple chances, but I can't understand why we would return when the quality has been consistently poor."

"I ordered an oat milk vanilla latte along with a delicious fruit and Nutella French toast. Everything had an amazing aroma, making it hard to choose just one thing. The menu features a diverse selection of Mexican and American dishes for breakfast and lunch. I sat at the bar where the barista was attentive, providing quick and friendly service to all the customers. I overheard someone enthusiastically praising Nasario for making the BEST micheladas, and I definitely plan to return to try them and other dishes that Jinky has to offer."

"Best Deli Food. Period.. OK, I am a fan of Art's, have been for years. Art's Deli in Studio City is a 1 hour drive for my friends and I. It is well worth it. We come from different parts of So Cal ... the OC, South LA, Inland Empire, and High Desert to meet at Art's for lunch. We come to enjoy the great food, the family atmosphere, and each others company. Family atmosphere because we are treated like family by Art's family ... and the servers.<br/ <br/ As for the food, I invariably get pastrami on rye, though friends try other items. Being an ex-NY'er, I feel qualified to say that Art's pastrami on rye is the best this side of the Hudson. I don't understand others' complaints that it is a basic sandwich, just meat and bread? That IS what is served in NY deli's, no garnishings taking away from the taste of the meat and bread and deli mustard. That is what makes a delicious NY deli sandwich. If you want lettuce, tomato, cheese, or other ... ask for it. In NY City, those are not part of a pastrami, corned beef, roast beef, or other meat-type deli sandwich. Art's sandwiches are big, piled high with meat ... NY style. If you don't want NY style .. go to The Hat for their tasteless pastrami.<br/ <br/ We make the 1 hour drive because we love the food ... and Art, Mrs Art, Roberta, and Harold. Did I mention that Art's IS true NY kosher Deli style through and through!<br/ <br/ And if you want a true NY treat ... try a Chocolate Egg Cream, a fountain drink made to true NY specifications."

"We enjoyed our breakfast from Grossman's, but there were a couple of hiccups that made this less than 5 stars. Ordering online was easy and gave us enough time to walk to pick up our takeout order. Pick up was not totally smooth. We arrived at the pick upcounter at the back and then were essentially ignored for between 5-10 minutes until the host came from up front. Took another 5minutes for him to find the other in the kitchen. The pastrami smoked salmon was delicious but each half bagel had 2 slicesonly. I do realize smoked salmon is not cheap, but $6 worth of smoked salmon should be a quarter pound listed at $22 perpound). The bagels were very tasty and had a good chew without being bready. Still worth it though and would recommend."

"The food was overly salty. Their take on a fajita resembled more of a cheeseburger, as it was buried under an excessive amount of cheese, which is not typical for fajitas. The tortilla soup was decent, but the enchiladas were very salty, and I ended up leaving half of my meal behind. I have no urge to return."

"My family has been longtime fans of the Berkley Country Stove. We have never had a bad meal there and the service has always been excellent. I want to thank the staff for always making our visits enjoyable. My parents love coming here for Sunday brunch and we joined them last Sunday for another great meal."

"Tried to order online payment system wasn’t working so I called them. Automated system. Really an automated system for a restaurant? Really putting the LAZY in lazy daisy am i right? Automated system directs you to the same link I was using with the failed payment system, tried to speak to a representative no one answered. It diverted me to the voicemail which I had an inbox that was full. Unclear how you can exist as a business in today’s day and age without a working ordering system."

"I had an excellent experience at this restaurant with amazing service and food! On Fridays, I always look forward to their fish fry, and I can't resist getting the clam chowder. Saturdays are all about the prime rib for me, served with horseradish, and it's simply fantastic. You can really tell that everything is made fresh. The soups are definitely my favorite—probably the best in the city!"

"Jinky's Cafe in Santa Monica has recently changed ownership, and unfortunately, the quality has declined rapidly. The manager, Misael Acosta, does not seem fit for a leadership role, given his disrespectful treatment of both customers and staff. It's important for the new ownership to be made aware of this behavior. I am still waiting for a response from the owner regarding an incident involving Mr. Acosta, and I will keep posting until I receive a reply!"

"We were sat by a host. First our waiter gave us our menus then decided to pass us off to another waiter. When he came over I asked him for 2 waters and to told me to relax and take it easy because he was very busy. Everytime I asked him for something he was too busy. We had breakfast and our hash browns were almost burned. Eggs were only OK. This restaurant's food was much better before the pandemic and the waitstaff is non caring and rude. I have been eating there on and off for over 30 years a … – show"

"This restaurant in La Jolla is our favorite. Chef Maeve's bakery and restaurant are top-notch. The staff is wonderful and the food and pastries are exceptional. We appreciate being able to dine with our dogs on the terrace while still receiving excellent service. We have never been let down by anything here. The Guinness stew, shepherd's pie, chicken smolts, BLAT sandwich, brioche French toast, traditional breakfast, and endless pastries are all incredible. We will make sure to visit La Jolla on every trip."

"Visited around 10am on a Saturday for brunch. Restaurant was busy but had indoor and outdoor seating available. Reservation accepted for parties of 6 or more only. Brunch menu has not only the expected dishes, like omelettes, French toast, and pancakes, but also interesting choices like huevos rancheros, eggs with bulgogi, and prosciutto toast with eggs. Extensive coffee and tea offerings, including cappuccino, bubble tea and matcha. We chose to sit outside on a beautiful day, and the food was fantastic! Service was very attentive and efficient. We will definitely dine here again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"The staff saw me with two children and didn’t bother to offer a high chair. So I had to grab it. The waitress didn’t explain where was the kids menu so I ended ordering 2 eggs with two slices of bacon for $14 for a 3 year old. Anyway, the main problem was that the food sucked my omelette could feed 4 people if it wasn’t all watery inside because obviously it’s har to cook a two pound omelette. In other words the experience sucked and the food sucked."

"One morning, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast thanks to the attentive service. However, a few days later, my experience with takeout was quite disappointing. I received a text telling me when to arrive and pick up my order, but I found myself waiting for over an hour, with only a flimsy excuse to keep me company during that time. While I waited inside, I wasn't offered even a glass of water, and my wife had to stay outside."
