"Our first visit was my son's 13th birthday. This is a cute little place that stays busy. I'd been eyeing it for some time now. Overall the food was good. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The teriyaki dishes initially all came out cold but the manager quickly remade each dish and we enjoyed them as well. Our server was attentive and more than accommodating. She truly made our first experience memorable. My only critique is that it was freezing in the place. I will return."

"My friend and I tried out Rai Rai Ken after having it on our list for a while! It was delicious the takoyaki was great, the curry was great, the ramen was great! My friend and I split both dishes and we were super full after! Overall a super solid place for Japanese food. 4 stars because everything was solid nothing blew me out of the water per se. The vibe inside is super cute and staff is great!"

"We had a great lunch here, good ramen at fair prices. I ordered the JIro ramen (Tokyo style) which comes with a lot of bean sprouts and 10 pieces of char siu. My wife ordered the Tonkatsu spicy level 2, they have 5 levels of spiceiness. Level 2 is spicy for those who don't care for too much heat, they should choose a level 1. Level 3 and up are very spicy, so choose wisely. There are many options for the broth like black or white and miso or salt base, so check out the menu.There is also an option to upgrade to a combo with your ramen for a small charge. You can add a couple of sides to the order like gyozu or karage and a salad or char siu fried rice. The bowl of ramen itself is a good meal alone. If you have a big appetite, or crave an extra side dish these are great options as well.Give ramen shack a try, you will not be disappointed."

"love eating in ramen bar! but today I had to kill myself. then drive it an hour! I've never taken the ramen bar out before and I got it home and it was fire! it was perfectly packed. it survived these boring ass streets and hastily hour traffic and it was *cook kiss* perfect. "Great, flavorful Ramen. Huge portions!!! Yay! I've enjoyed the Miso Ramen with chicken, and poached egg. Egg is $2. The miso broth is so delicious and flavorful, the chicken is a roast chicken, also flavorful. I love this place, and I may be addicted to that ramen. Every time I visit, I order the same thing!! Well, first time, I had not had poached egg, but every other time I did. So, that's my variation. And at some point , I'll add the Japanese pepper which is on the table. Service is friendly and nice. The ramen noodles are very good. I really, really like this ramen! I am craving the Miso ramen with chicken as I write this. See my photos. Everything in the Miso Ramen soup is delicious. Price is reasonable for what you get and the area. OVERALL: I highly recommend . Oh, they do NOT deliver . But, you can call in your order pick up. I have only eaten my Miso Ramen in the Restaurant because you want it as soon as it is served for the ultimate taste experience. I'd recommend you step away from your work take your lunch break inside the restaurant . SO DELICIOUS. Enjoy! This LOCATION is on West 56th Street, between 5th 6th Avenues, closer to 6th Ave. It's near a bike rental place, and on downtown side of West 56th Street. "I spent nearly $20 on a bowl of broth with onions, tough noodles, and a few soggy pieces of spinach and tofu. The worst part? I'm still hungry. I'm accustomed to delicious take-out ramen that fills me up (shoutout to Giraffe Ramen in Long Beach!), but this just wasn't worth the price. It's definitely something that could be improved, and I might consider giving it another shot in the future."

"Oh my gosh, let me tell you! You know how fried food can get soggy when you take it to go? Well, that’s not the case here! I think it’s because they prioritize the meat over the outer crust. I had the pork curry katsu, and it was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be going back – no extra toppings necessary; it was just that good and worth every penny. I arrived to pick it up just five minutes after it was supposed to be ready, and then I wandered around for another 20-30 minutes before I actually ate it, but it was still fantastic! I’m a big fan of okonomiyaki, so I really recommend this place. The cabbage flavor is spot on, and that’s truly the best part. I can’t wait to eat here again!"

"This used to be our favorite ramen spot. We used to order from there all the time, even though it had a less-than-stellar rating on Seamless. They were only open until 4 PM for a while, which made it difficult to order, but now they've updated their hours to be open until 8 PM. I placed an order at 7:10 PM, and they canceled it without even bothering to call me. I'm extremely disappointed! Food rating: 1/5."
