"Flew over from Australia to check out how Covid has decimated America, thought I 'd drop in to grab an ice cream from a seemingly random mcdonalds. Imagine my horror when the ice cream machine was broken! To my delight an amazing young man named Damian who was working the grill set up his lap top and completed a mechanical engineering degree, on the spot! Fixed the ice cream machine straight after so I could enjoy a nice cold ice cream! He pointed me in the direction of the nearest covid hot spot and said cone-gratulations on making it so far and good luck Overall fantastic experience...I would definitely come back again, that 's if I 'm not added to the statistics of those who have perished from corona but with minds like Damians fixing the world one customer at a time I think we 'll all be okay."

"drove up to the drive through speaker and many red flags appeared. for starters, 2 guys were speaking to us at the exact same time. very confusing for an old folk like me. second, they quote that the ice cream machine was broken when i went to get 2 ice cream cones, but when i said i was going to leave and not purchase anything else, they offered us a milkshake. how the booty hole are they supposed to make a milkshake without the ice cream? baffles me to this day."

"I don’t usually have McDonald’s for lunch at noon, but I must say this location was clean and welcoming. There was a group of seniors dining there, which is always a good sign. The person who took my order at the register (rather than through the ordering screen/computer) was patient and polite. The service was excellent, although the quality of the food could use some improvement. Unfortunately, the milkshake machine was out of service, which was disappointing since we were hoping to try the heavily promoted Shamrock Shake. Overall, the service was better than the food, but you get what you pay for at a highway burger joint."

"At this location they use bags instead of standard boxes. I have personally found the food is better than other locations. The chicken nuggets are warm and crispy. Have had over all good experiences here. But one instance I was going here for lunch and it was maybe 8 minutes before the lunch time. They told me I would have to wait and was not happy about that."

"The manager, around 1 or 2 o'clock today, seemed to think I was not affected by their poor service. They have a special treatment for fentanyl by the window, which I find concerning. I'm still here and I think you should be ashamed, particularly if your friends are complicit. That was your last chance; I’ve overcome everything. "At the second window, I was greeted with a huge smile, a very cold Coca-Cola, and a hot, fresh serving of large French fries. The employee even asked how my day was, and surprisingly, he genuinely seemed to care. It was incredibly refreshing to encounter such kindness; he clearly took pride in his work and in ensuring customers were satisfied. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it made a positive impact on my experience. We need more people like him, not just in the food industry, but everywhere in the world. "I don't usually dine at this restaurant, but I took my two grandchildren for check-ups and wanted to treat them to a happy meal afterwards. We went through the drive-thru, and the service was quick. "Hey, it's a McDonald's, so you know what you're getting as far as the menu is concerned. What we really want to know is what we're getting as far as the freshness of the menu and quality of workers. Nine times out of ten the food is great at this location, but I work in the food industry so i also know the best times to go to fast food places to get the fresh cooked fries! The workers have always been attentive and friendly at this location in my personal experience. I find myself skipping other McDonald's locations to go to this one instead because they have everything i appreciate from fresh cooked food to good employees to a very very clean dining room and a security guard who is very friendly but very firm in keeping out trouble makers."

"Only recently(within the past 3 to 4 weeks) can I say our food has been just like the poor quality we get at the Bloomington and Ellettsville locations. The owner of those stores needs to have them strip them Never have we ever experienced poor food quality at the Spencer,IN location until the past few visits. It is still a by far more superior location than Monroe and Lawrence county stores. Don't even bother with the new Martinsville location until they can get their new store kinks worked out. What a mess! As far as employees go Spencer,IN still has the best around."

"As a former delivery driver, do not EVER order delivery from this location. The employees actively ignore the front of the store and all deliveries. This store very obviously has taught their staff that the order of importance for customers is: 1. Drive-thru 2. Drive-thru 3. Mobile orders 4. Parking spot pickup orders 5. Front of house orders placed using the self help machines 6. Begrudgingly taking an order from a customer who insists on having a human help them instead of having to type in their own order 7. Delivery orders If you insist on ordering McDonald's for delivery, then I'd recommend any other location in the area. Well, maybe not the one on Fall Creek and 86th. That location at least only falls behind when they're super busy. This location is 10-15 minutes late no matter the time of day or day of the week."

I had the pay it forward experience of people paying for my meals before me at least 4 times here, the 4x more than I had at any other McDonald's in the country and I was for many (prior army and world traveler). "Normally this mostly High School student crew pulls off a standard McDonald’s experience, but every mistake is downright excruciating to try and resolve with the older female manager. She is uncaring of the service she provides, a “minimum required” effort every time—it’s almost not worth bringing up issues or complaining since you have to inevitably deal with her attitude.I had a 5 item mobile order I picked up myself via drive-thru tonight, about 7:30 at night. I checked in my code AE62 with her over speaker (she even repeated my order name back), pull up to second window, wait about 10 minutes. Handed a bag and pull out—missing two Large Fry. Get back in line to wait some more, let her know over speaker my mobile order was missing two Large Fry. She’s already annoyed, “Oh boy, second window…I guess.” I drive around and she still stops me at first window, now asking for a physical receipt (she has it, still thumbing through other receipts half-heartedly), then asking order number, then name (the amnesia has taken hold after three cars apparently), says oh well you must’ve not had it ordered (yes, the McDonald’s mobile app receipt is amnesiac, too). We go back and forth on basic logic before I just leave tired, fry-less.You win this time, disgruntled penny-pinching franchise manager. Hope your next McDonald’s corporate review is as pleasant as you are."
