The employee even asked how my day was, and surprisingly, he genuinely seemed to care. It was incredibly refreshing to encounter such kindness; he clearly took pride in his work and in ensuring customers were satisfied. Unbelievable. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonald's drive-thru. They might as well go back to a single lane! It took 15 minutes just to get through with 3 cars ahead of me. I love McDonald's, but at this point, it's not worth the hassle anymore. There was so much that went wrong, but it's hard to cover it all here.
