"After a two week visit to Europe we were craving Mexican food. Jet lag had me starving but unable to eat the texas sized portions this great state is known for, my daughter ready to eat all the foods. So we ordered a starter Elotes Botaneros (Fourpieces of grilled corn on the cob covered in a tangy cream sauce and queso fresco. And two main dishes a small bowl of Sopa deTortilla (crisp corn tortilla chips, avocado, chipotle pepper and Muenster cheese and Enchiladas Verdes (Three soft rolled corntortillas filled with chicken guisada, tomatillo sauce, with red rice and refried beans. We we?re served chips, salsa andrefried beans, which I must say this is only the second restaurant I?ve been to that serves beans with the chips the other beingin Arizona. The salsa was delicious. The Elotes were sour, I love a little lemon or lime on them but these were so sour theywere almost inedible. I wouldn?t order a again. The soup was delicious, and presented beautifully, almost to be made to yourtaste, which could have been done with the Elotes by perhaps providing the lemom/lime to add as you wish. My daughter reallyenjoyed her Enchiladas and devoured the plate. My only other issue giving this restaurant a 4 instead of 5 star is we wereseated at a table that was getting dripped on by the A/C, avoidable by scooching over a bit but there were other tables we couldhave been seated at. I would also say it?s a very pricy location, especially for lunch, but it is La Cantera. Other than thatwe had great service and a manager came to ask how it was and was very professional and polite. I mentioned the leak and heapologized profusely."
