"It was a decent place to stop by and eat. The gap in attention to detail is what keeps from return visits. Stopped in and ordered some food and coffee’s. The coffee was sad, ordered pour over coffee and witnessed them ruin it. I’ll just say the staff needs training on preparation of coffee. The food came out to order, the requested condiments did not. Server did not return. Parking is plentiful and there is plenty of room inside and covered patio."

"UPDATE 6/4/21 Returned for our anniversary and they had some new menu items we were excited to try! Unfortunately the vegan wings were $17 and I couldn’t justify spending that, but the new Buffalo chicken sandwich was good (although not as creative as the original) and I couldn’t believe how good the chicken salad was! The chicken was so realistic that I don’t think meat eaters would think anything of it, and I never say that. Cheesecake was on point too! It was an incredible experience to have a hard time choosing what to eat for once! Six years vegan and this place had one of the more extensive and creative vegan menus I have experienced. We had the pickle fries, domestic burger and Buffalo chicken sandwich (they were out of the chicken salad). The onion rings and ranch were also great! "Amazing little Japanese spot. Decent selection of sakes or asian beers, they also have a nice amount of Japanese sodas. A dozen and more different sushi available at all times, do not neglect their selection of hot items thou. Best Takoyaki I have had in years, better than all other places I have been. The Karrage is lovely, crisp yet juicy, and their chashu bowl with rice is so succulent. Also they have the best prices around by a long shot. Definitely my go to place when I want something Japanese. "I have ordered from this restaurant twice and the boba tea was delicious both times. The first time I went in person, the drinks were made quickly and the service was pleasant. The second time I ordered ahead (2 hours in advance) and arrived five minutes earlier than planned. The ice in the drinks had already melted, indicating they were made earlier. One of the owners quickly gave me a cup of ice with my order without hesitation. I highly recommend visiting if you enjoy sweet drinks and boba tea, just be sure to come during less busy times for a fresh fix. Update: Unfortunately, two of our drinks were made incorrectly. I chose not to complain as the owners seemed busy and were already struggling in the kitchen. It appears they crack under pressure when busy."

"I visited this restaurant for dinner with friends, and overall, the food was quite tasty and the waitress was friendly. Half of us ordered hibachi, which was fairly pricey, but the chef lacked the enthusiasm you'd expect from a fusion restaurant experience. It made me question why I was paying ten dollars more without the entertainment factor. If we return, we’ll likely skip the hibachi option. However, my Viking sushi roll was delicious, so I might come back for that. My son enjoyed his kids' meal and his dragon roll sushi as well. The banana and strawberry mochi ice cream were also fantastic. If you have any dietary restrictions, just speak to the staff and they will accommodate you."

"Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I are from the Boston/Cape Cod area, and I'm a commercial fisherman, so I had my doubts about getting sushi in the middle of the country. However, this place exceeded my expectations! The Burrito Sushi rolls are incredible, and you really can’t beat the price. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful! The staff is great, and we had some lovely conversations at the sushi bar while we enjoyed our meal."

"this little chicken shop is so under the radar that I can't blame you for missing him. but eating has thrown me away. I got her big boss chicken sandwich, and I'm telling you, that huh was perfect. beautiful fried, juicy inside and crispy outside. the soße was a wonderful mix of seasoned and character dancing together with several different flavors. that was not long and it was worth it. it was obvious that my sandwich was freshly prepared, the huh was so hot that I could almost not eat it. the shy and swaying on the sandwich brought everything together and I don't know if I had a better chicken sandwich in this city. the restaurant itself is almost on the autobahn on a busy road. the interieur is simple, but pleasant, while the paper plate and solo beaker work to create a backyard bbq feeling that is perfect for fried chicken joy. I'll go back in any case."

"This restaurant has great potential. The decor is rustic and patriotic, which I really liked. The coffee was very good, but the baristas didn't seem to know much about the beans or their backstory. It seemed like a group of college kids were in charge and things were a bit chaotic. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich I ordered was just okay. The bacon was not very good, but the cheese and bread were decent. Overall, I think this place still needs some improvement. I was hesitant to visit due to the negative reviews, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The coffee was great, but the staff and food options need work. It was strange that they didn't have condiments available like salt, pepper, ketchup, or mustard. On the positive side, they are dog-friendly, which is a big plus."

"The waiter gave us attitude because we arrived close to the closing time , which was 9 pm, but on google map, it shows the closing time is 12. I think only God knows the closing time because they kept randomly changing their closing time. But it is ok, we just want to order two drinks to go and leave him alone. But somehow he made the wrong order for my girlfriend, so we told him that and want him to make the correct drink for us. And then his attitude became horrible. First, he insisted he made the right order until we showed him the receipt. After he knew he was wrong, he threw the receipt on the desk rudely. We couldn 't stand his bad attitude and told him it is wrong to serve the customer, and he yelled at us and said why don 't you guys make your drinks yourselves？ . LOL. Such a worst customer service. Will never come again."

"The hotel lobby has a pleasant atmosphere, but the menu here is quite limited due to the small space and Manhattan location, with prices generally higher than in New Jersey. I ordered the tomato mozzarella on a baguette, but the "house-made fresh mozzarella" was unexpectedly melted, which was confusing. It had a strong oak smoke and salmon flavor, making me suspect it had been stored with lox. The pesto was too salty, though overall it tasted good, likely from quality olive oil, despite lacking pine nuts or walnuts. The tomato was bland and pale, probably out of season. Overall, the sandwich was disappointing. The baked goods are artisanal and well made, but if possible, I recommend visiting a location outside the city. If you do go to this spot, I suggest buying the pastries and preparing your own sides."

"Slurping Turtle last time I went we were told the wait was 45 minutes and waited an hour sat us out in the rain with no umbrella or service and it was a horrible experience. They closed for a renovation for a couple months and reopened a couple weeks ago so I convinced my boyfriend to go back. It was ok....the quality of food used to be better. Our favorite on the menu 'Hamachi Tacos' no longer is on. Only available for carry out. We got the red dragon roll, texture was a little slimy but good flavor would pass on the jalapeño in it, the pink lady, and the hamachi and avocado roll. Overall the sushi itself had WAYYYYYYY too much rise and too big. The edamame was good and the duck fat fried chicken was also good. Had an iced green tea was also good with some sweetener. Would I come back, sure but they heavily lowered my expectations. I would rather go to Totoro on State St. was kind of disappointed."

"I had a nice experience at the restaurant, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The display case for the scrumptious candy was not well-maintained, and the lack of labels made it less inviting to order from. While your menu is extensive and very enticing, the food itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. The prepackaged avocado in my omelet was disappointing, especially for a local establishment that I expected to have fresh ingredients. I think it detracted from my enjoyment of the dish. I appreciate that the restaurant might be trying to save costs, but I would have preferred to see fresh avocado as a part of my meal rather than a prepackaged version. Perhaps it could be offered as a special when ripe avocados are available, rather than being a standard item on the menu. Despite these issues, I’m willing to give it another shot. The desserts seemed popular, and the overall vibe of the place was enjoyable enough to warrant a return visit."

"Very nice and cozy coffee shop in downtown Jersey City. We ordered cappuccinos and croissants, both of which were good. The cappuccinos were a little too strong and hot compared to what we typically get at other places, which was good for us. Parking is hard to find in the area so we had to takeout although we did want to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee there because it felt like the perfect cozy Coffee place."

"Beware dark roast coffee drinkers. I stopped by this restaurant for the first time today to try their dark roast coffee. The place was empty so I received quick service. However, when I received my coffee, it was not a dark roast as I had ordered. When I inquired about the roast, I was informed that they only offered a medium dark roast and did not have a dark roast available due to low popularity. If I wanted a true dark roast, I would have to pay extra for a pour over or french press. I wish this information had been communicated to me before I received my coffee. No attempt was made to correct the mistake. While it is not uncommon for specialty coffee shops to not have dark roast ready, this was the first time it was not mentioned to me. Other places I have visited always inform me that a pour over is required and will take longer. The coffee I received was disappointing and ended up being thrown away. It was a waste of $3. I have never had any issues at a nearby Starbucks, but I wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, I now feel forced to go to Starbucks instead. In terms of food, I would rate it a 3, service a 3, and atmosphere a 5."

"I had been turned off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came off like), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"Best BAKESHOP in the EAST BAY! This is not an exaggeration! We first discovered them at the Brentwood Farmer’s Market, and the treats were so amazing that I craved more the very next day! Although they aren’t located right next to AMC in Brentwood as some of the photos suggest, you can find them at the intersection of Brentwood and Nancy. You must try their brownie with walnuts! My partner typically isn’t a fan of brownies, but after tasting Doré’s version, she couldn’t resist asking if she could have one all to herself when I bought two for myself! Another standout item is the croissant filled with almonds, chocolate, and bananas. We're determined to sample their entire menu because everything is just so delicious. If you’re looking for something special and the display case is empty, don’t hesitate to ask if they have more treats available in the back—they usually do! This place is truly a hidden gem in Brentwood, but it's so outstanding that it deserves the spotlight! I just had to share the wonderful pastries!"
