"Slurping Turtle last time I went we were told the wait was 45 minutes and waited an hour sat us out in the rain with no umbrella or service and it was a horrible experience. They closed for a renovation for a couple months and reopened a couple weeks ago so I convinced my boyfriend to go back. It was ok....the quality of food used to be better. Our favorite on the menu 'Hamachi Tacos' no longer is on. Only available for carry out. We got the red dragon roll, texture was a little slimy but good flavor would pass on the jalapeño in it, the pink lady, and the hamachi and avocado roll. Overall the sushi itself had WAYYYYYYY too much rise and too big. The edamame was good and the duck fat fried chicken was also good. Had an iced green tea was also good with some sweetener. Would I come back, sure but they heavily lowered my expectations. I would rather go to Totoro on State St. was kind of disappointed."

This is a really nice ramen shop. The atmosphere was great and the ramen was delicious. The fried chicken in duck fat was also super good. Everything was Farley priced being a college town. I would recommend giving this place a try

This restaurant in southeast Michigan serves the best ramen I've ever had! The broth is incredible and I haven't been able to find anything like it elsewhere. They also have a perfectly cooked melted egg that adds a unique touch to the dish.

swell turtle is an AA spinel. definitiw has good eating and a relaxed eating environment. the ahi donburi had really fresh fish and the rugs were pretty good. I think this place fits people with a milder palate, nothing is too spicy or salty. View menu

We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were very happy with the service and the ambience of the place. The food wasn't bad but i want to say not exceptional. The shrimp ramen lacked some flavors.. Overall it was just ok but definitely a very nice and lively olace to hang out with friends and family.

One of the most amazing Ramen place I’ve been to in my entire life. Definitely worth a try. Their spice levels are perfect and portions too. Definitely try the Bao as well. I felt the Bao was a bit overpriced but is delicious. We had a long wait for a table and also the host messed up in noting down that we were a party of 4. But the food covered it up for us. View menu

After dining at Slurping Turtle for the first time, we were impressed. Despite visiting Ann Arbor frequently, this was our first time trying the restaurant. We both ordered the DFFC Spicy Ramen, which was absolutely delicious. We requested to have the noodles on the side to keep them crispy, along with the chili sauce and flakes. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was wonderful, and we are planning to host another small meeting in their separate section.

We really enjoyed the experience, with fresh and delicious food. Our waitress, Maja, was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. We would additionally like to praise how the sushi rice is prepared, which is much more authentic than at other restaurants we have visited in Ann Arbor, with the correct amount of sushi vinegar.Update 06 05 2022: We particularly liked the chashu pork in the ramen and the duck fat fried chicken was succulent and juicy. The broth from the tan tan men was also very tasty.
