"When was the last time when you discovered a hidden gem in restaurant that you found amazingly good and outstanding service ? I always wandered around to find these kind of gems. This restaurant was one of those finding. I came with family and from looks of it I knew its a mom n pop place which already made me think it would be good. The people there were really nice to us. When we ordered soup our server put it separate cups for us, like she really understood the assignment. Even when we ordered food she helped us choose the right dishes. All of the food was authentic and really good. Best part was their prices are also not crazy high, so shout out on that as well. We ended by ordering thai tea and mango rice which were so good that we have to come again for that only. Suggestion for customer: Don’t leave without trying Thai Tea, it’s just perfect. We ordered to share but later regretted that we should have ordered separately instead. Above format would be best to justify my review so i will hopefully continue to keep this for all my next reviews."

"Delicious! We celebrated our grandmother's 90th birthday during a family trip, and the bakery was instrumental in making the day memorable with a stunning cake. Janice truly exceeded our expectations by crafting something extraordinary for our family. The cake was not only delicious, but their skill is also apparent in all their offerings. We delighted in the assortment of croissants, rumballs, bakery bread, and tarts. We felt fortunate to experience a traditional family-owned bakery during our travels. It's a genuine treasure to have a homemade shop like Bon Appetite Bakery still flourishing."

"My husband and I stopped for dinner at Alihan's before attending an event in the cultural district, and after trying other nearby restaurants, we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff is friendly and courteous (and wears masks, which we appreciate), and the menu is varied and affordable. The stuffed grape leaves and falafels were some of the best we've had in the city. The grilled kebabs were delicious and came with generous portions of rice and salad (although I personally found the shredded salad a bit difficult to eat compared to a chopped salad). Overall, this restaurant clearly knows what it does well and consistently delivers. We can't wait to return! Plus, parking in the nearby garage is a great deal at $10 for a night of events. Great food, convenient parking, and just a short walk to Heinz Hall (or a block further to the Benedum)."

"This new and very small Asian restaurant features predominantly Thai food, but has some Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese offerings as well. The food is good. We started by sharing two appetizers: The Sky Roll and the Hammer. The Vietnamese style Sky Roll featured a good amount of shrimp and was served with two sauces: an excellent peanut sauce and a not too interesting basil ginger sauce. The Hammer appetizer was a satay like dish that featured chicken pork, corn and onion on a strand of lemon grass (see picture) and was served with an excellent and spicy sauce which I can only describe as an Asian style pico de gallo. In summary, the appetizers were excellent. For entrées, my wife had the Tom Kha Soup with tofu. It was not the best version of this dish she’s tasted, but it was still quite acceptable. The major problem was the lack of spiciness. She forgot to specify it and the waitress forgot to ask. I had the Panang Curry with seafood (shrimp and calamari) ordered at the 5/5 heat level. It featured a generous amount of seafood and a good, but not excellent curry sauce. The heat level was more like 4/5. Better versions of this dish can be found at places like Asian 1 or Busara Thai Cuisine, although I doubt that you’ll get as much seafood at those places. All in all, this is a really nice little restaurant."

I even brought my sister here, and she agreed to the best tee she had ever had, and we visited a tonne blase depots. I tried the birthday cake macaron and it was delicious. 2.50 is a big price for it! I would like to try a new tee next time"

"Nice place, chic pastries. That was my first visit and it was interesting. It's counterfeit, order, then they'll bring it to you. They also served us glasses and a pitcher of lukewarm water. We didn't ask for a nice courtesy. But other tables demanded ice and we saw it flow. All deserts were great. Coffee was hot, hot chocolate was disappointing. It is an expensive desert place, cool experience and I recommend there was 4 instead of 5, because hot chocolate was not good and the water, although free, was not cold."

"Since a new owner has taken over, Mottley has experienced a decline. It is disappointing and unfortunate. There is an abundance of merchandise that no one buys, while the beloved previous merchandise is no longer available. It used to be known for its books, community atmosphere, and small but high-quality menu, but all of that has disappeared. The laminated menus are dirty, the set up is off, and there are too many drink coolers. The tables are seldom cleaned and the woman at the register is consistently rude. I used to visit 3-4 times a week, but it is no longer a place I will frequent."

"Got a voucher for this place as a birthday present and l found it a very cute date spot. We got a little pot of tea each and a three tier tray of cookies and little finger sandwiches and scones etc. The savoury snacks on the bottom tier were amazing ! Everything was presented very well. The only thing that really threw us off was the server coming around and telling us at the end it was customary to give an 18% gratuity tax on top of the voucher I received. Other than that it was a great experience if you want something different and a little fancy, I would suggest getting the assorted treats as it gives you a nice variety and it was presented very cute."

"This is the closest boba shop near me so I had my fingers crossed that it would be good! I was pleasantly surprised and overall found it to be good boba tea. The shop is cute and has outdoor and indoor seating options. Their milk is dairy free which is nice and sweetness levels can be adjusted. We ordered their matcha rose milk tea, strawberry jasmine milk tea, and a custom oolong rose milk tea. I got 25% sweetness on my strawberry jasmine and I am glad I did because it was still too sweet for me. The oolong and matcha rose were wayy too sweet at 50%. Both tasted more like 75-80%. The strawberry flavor is tart fyi which I liked because it didn't taste too artificial, but my boyfriend did not like it. Their boba has a nice chew and honey flavor. The matcha rose was good but lacked matcha flavor. All in all, flavors were good just be carefully with the sweetness levels. I will be returning and am looking forward to trying other teas!"

"2 years ago we went on Bastille Day and we had an amazing time. We had beef Wellington and spritzers. My most recent visit for Bastille Day 2022, was very disappointing. The food was delicious but the service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes before we saw our waiter, 20 minutes for our drinks, another 20 just to order food. The food was delicious but I would of had a wonderful evening, if the waiter was more communicative and engaging with our table. We were recommended by the manager, the special drink of the day but when we tried to order it, the waiter said that the bar was closed. We had no prior warning to order our last drinks before the bar closing because the waiter was no where to be found. Dessert was just ok. Maybe the waiter was overwhelmed but he could of tried a bit harder to make our night enjoyable."

"The coffee, lattes, and ingredients are absolutely DELICIOUS! You won't have to worry about any "bitter" flavor that you might experience at other coffee places—this is all smooth and enjoyable! The coffee shop is spacious, beautifully decorated, and the restrooms are always spotless! I also appreciate that it’s a local business run by the friendly Katy family, and I love supporting local companies. I’ve enjoyed so many delicious drinks here and look forward to trying many more!"

"My family and I came in July 4th around 9am. At the time there was another couple present so the restaurant was vacant. My family of 5 ordered 3 cappuccino and one American coffee with cream. My grandma's American coffee came with as much foam as our cappuccinos so clearly something was missed. I ordered a Colombian breakfast with the added sausage which is extra(though it appears as is on the menu)$19. My wife a venuzelian breakfast and my grandma and mother in law America breakfasts. Honestly at $12+ for their American breakfast which consisted of 3 eggs, ham, two slices of small toast it seemed like a robbery. In truth I seemed to be the only one in the table that enjoyed the food for its price. These four plates plus my son's chicken nuggets came out to $110 which includes the 18% automatic gratitude Later in the day we bought groceries through uber eats for literally 3 dollars more. Knowing what I know now I will wait to go back to Miami to enjoy Latin food before I step back into this place."

"I recently had the pleasure of visiting this coffee shop that made a lasting impression on me. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and great hospitality. The delicious pastries and excellent service made my experience unforgettable.Let's talk about the pastries. When I saw their beautiful display, I knew I was in for a treat. Each pastry was carefully made with love and attention to detail. From the flaky croissants to the heavenly tarts, every bite was full of flavor and pure happiness. The fresh ingredients and expert craftsmanship really made this coffee shop stand out. What impressed me even more was the attentive and friendly service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every customer felt welcomed and well taken care of. They took the time to explain the different pastries, answered questions patiently, and even made recommendations based on personal preferences. Their knowledge and passion for their work shone through in every interaction. In conclusion, this coffee shop has perfected the art of offering amazing pastries and exceptional service. Whether you love pastries or simply want a cozy place with delicious treats, this place is a must-visit. With its delightful pastries, inviting ambiance, and attentive staff, it's an experience that will make you want to come back for more.Sorry, no pictures as I was too busy enjoying the pastries."

"Breakfast on March 22, 2023: We had chilaquiles, a chipotle benedict, and pancakes for the kids. The service was truly polite and attentive. Our food was fantastic, and the coffee was great too! The server brought out the child's meal right away before the adult orders were ready, which we really appreciated. The newly renovated interior is very inviting. We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends, visitors, and family."

"I had been turned off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came off like), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"I was blown away by the quality and taste and perfection of the croissants from this bakery. Stuffed and filled to perfection, and very creative flavors! We got the crème brûlée and pistachio apricot ones but had such a hard time deciding because there were soooo many amazing flavors and other pastries including cruffins, cheesecakes, macarons and more. My husband and I were taking turns going inside to decide because we had our dog with us and the guy told us to bring him in with us and that alone had me sold on the customer service before I even tasted heaven on earth in a French pastry. This place has won countless awards and once you have one bite you’ll know exactly why. Highly recommend!"

"Food is pretty mediocre, coffee is okay. Got the grilled panini and ham and cheese baguette, the former cold, with cheap American cheese. The latter, a soggy, at least day-old, 6-inch baguette with cheese still cold and not melted, no mayo or mustard as it should be. Felt hastily put together with zero integrity or standards or care for what is being served. With two coffees and a juice, the tab was $45. For that price, in that location and with what tries to be an upscale coffee shop, one would expect much, much better. You can get much better sandwiches at Starbucks and that’s not a good thing for the future of the local coffee shop. Food and coffee came out relatively quickly and staff was friendly and attentive. Absolutely not coming back."
