A few days later, I followed up and spoke with Ellie from Soup Peddler, who stated that the responsibility for the missing item was shared between Soup Peddler and Favor. She advised me to contact Favor, which I had already done by trying to reach the driver. Soup Peddler refused to accept any responsibility for the missing item or to offer any compensation. It felt futile to pursue a $10 refund with Favor, as they would likely just shift the blame back to Soup Peddler for the issue. The finger-pointing between the two companies has made us hesitant to order from them again. Overall, this lack of accountability has led us to decide against returning to their establishment in the future."
