"Our first night of vacation for dinner didn’t set the right tone. The worst hibachi I’ve ever been to. I’m pretty liberal when rating restaurants, but this one made me sick. First, they rushed us to get to the restaurant even though we had reservations because they had another party waiting and they wanted to fill the grill. There weren’t many people in the restaurant. Second, Chef Scott was a nice a guy and did his best, but he needs more training on cooking. The “fried” rice was more butter than rice. The steak was rubbery, they didn’t cut the tails off the shrimp, etc. He also dropped his knife (still in sheath) on the ground and continued to use it after picking it off the ground. My wife said it didn’t come out of the sheath, but still....He let the other party’s child we were seated with behind the grill to “try her hand at being a chef”. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but these people were disgusting meaning not hygienic clean and it was obvious. Third and probably the most disgusting was the smell from the floor itself. It literally smelled like someone defecated on the floor. How do we know this? We couldn’t figure out the smell once we got in the car to leave. We (family of 4) actually noticed it was coming from our shoe soles. That’s pretty bad. Needless to say we had to disinfect our shoes. None of ate our entire meal and although they boxed it up, we promptly dropped it in the Chevron gas station garbage next door. Save your money and order Flipper’s pizza across the street."

"I had a disappointing experience at this Japanese restaurant. While the rolls might be acceptable, I wouldn't recommend trying the sashimi or chirashi—the fish was not fresh at all. Additionally, the kitchen appeared dirty, and the overall experience felt more Chinese than Japanese. The service was awful; the waitress was particularly unhelpful. When I asked if I could substitute a soup for another dish, she cut me off before I could finish my question. In the end, I had to throw away my food."

"My mom ordered the red curry with lobster, and I chose the red curry with shrimp. She picked the mild option and absolutely loved it, saying it had just the right amount of flavor. I went with the medium spice level, which was also fantastic, packed with generous portions of shrimp. There’s a great selection of appetizers to choose from. The sashimi appetizer is beautifully presented and a perfect choice for anyone who enjoys raw fish. The avocado egg rolls were equally delicious. Plus, their Thai tea is incredibly refreshing and full of flavor."

"Absolutely the best fried rice I've ever had! I tried the steak fried rice, and it’s quite different from traditional Chinese fried rice. It's incredibly delicious, tastes fresh, and the steak is always cooked to perfection; it's never tough to chew. I've visited several times with my family and can confidently say the quality is consistently excellent. The customer service is fantastic—every staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive. The sushi is outstanding, always fresh each time we order it. The seasoning on the chicken is delightful and comes with a wonderfully sweet sauce. The pork egg rolls are a must-try—crispy and delicious every single time! We also enjoyed the ramen noodles; the broth has an amazing flavor. Everything we've tried has been exceptional, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. I also have to mention the steak with noodles, which was fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough! Plus, the prices are very reasonable. It truly is the perfect spot! Thank you, Fuji Sushi!"

"The sushi here is really great! If you're very hungry, you can order the all you can eat sushi. Keep in mind that you get to order twice and all of the food that you order must be consumed within an hour and a half. They don't allow you to take home food from the all you can eat. I also enjoyed their lunch combination of chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, and a California roll. Everything tastes great and we will be going back!"

"A few weeks ago, this restaurant got a new manager. I have dined there over 50 times in the past, when the place used to be well-managed and they always remembered their regular customers. However, this time we decided to order food to go instead of dining in. We ordered four meals, costing over $100, and requested a little extra sauce for one of the meals. To my surprise, I noticed there was a $2 charge for the extra sauce. I spoke to the manager to inquire about this charge, questioning why they would charge $2 for just an ounce of sauce on a meal that cost over $100, especially since if I were dining in, I could use as much sauce as I wanted. The manager refused to waive the charge and was rude about it. Over an ounce of sauce, they lost a customer. We have chosen to avoid dining there a total of four times now, resulting in them losing around $500 in business. Not a wise move by the manager."

"My BF and I ate here on wed. March 16, to celebrate the birthday of my BF's late brother (he loved sake and sushi). We were expecting it to be a rather somber evening due to the occasion. However, our server, Wendy, made sure we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything tasted delicious and Wendy was very attentive to our needs. My BF ended up getting his dining experience curated by the chef and it was great seeing all of the dishes come out and explained to us. However my only critique is that we were told before doing the curated dining experience that the price range usually falls between $40-$60 a person with the highest Wendy had seen was $80. Well we made our decision based on that knowledge and when we got our check and realized it was $114 for my BF's food we were a little shocked. At some point during the meal it would have been nice to have been told what we were actually going to be paying, instead of being blindsided when handed the check. But over all it was still a wonderful evening and we appreciate the staffs dedication and hard work."

"From the moment we entered, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, all part of the family that owns this restaurant. The owner kindly reminded us about the generous portion sizes to help us avoid overordering. And the food was fantastic! We enjoyed the Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Beef in Chili Oil, and Chicken Katsu, all bursting with flavor and generously packed with meat and vegetables. We also tried the House Mei Fun, which featured glass noodles with beef, pork, shrimp, and chicken. Each entrée came with either fried rice or steamed rice, except for the House Mei Fun. All the meats were tender, and the sauces struck the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The servers were attentive, and the booths were spacious and clean. The prices were reasonable, which is essential for our family of five. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!"

"Who are you, and what have you done to the old Wasabi Bistro?!? Seriously though, what happened? New ownership? New Chief? Trying to cut costs? What happened!?! This used to be the place to go but recently the food has been such low quality. I immediately noticed the difference when the food came out. It looked different. The steak, the rice, the sauce, everything looked different from what it used to be. The taste was not great at all. Was incredibly disappointed in the food and it definitely was not worth the price. Please go back to the old recipes! This place used to be a hidden gem!!!"

"They are literally only getting 2 stars due to previous visits. I have ordered chicken katsu off of doordash, probably... 20 or more times over the past year. It was always delicious. Tonight, I received chicken nuggets. It looks like I was given the end pieces of every cutlet they cooked throughout the day. They are overcooked, chunky, and gross. I'm honestly just sad that my favorite katsu place let me down so bad. Service: Delivery"
"This is my favorite sushi spot in the area! I do think quality has gone down just ever so slightly in the last 1-2 yrs but price point and deliciousness still surpasses all others in the area. Typical lunch specials but even ordering rolls separately is reasonably priced. Sushi rolls always taste fresh! I am obsesssssed with their veg fried rice/hibachi fried rice. The hibachi noodles are good but not my fav. The iced Thai tea is also a pleasant surprise at a sushi spot but one of our favorite dessert treats! We order from here pretty consistently and never have any complaints or errors in our order. Most recently sat for dine in which was fine but not especially memorable in terms of ambiance. Will definitely continue to eat Sushi House!"

"I visited this Japanese restaurant for the first time and, having tried many Japanese eateries—including some ramen in Tokyo—I was eager to see what they had to offer. Unfortunately, the seafood ramen combo from Ichiban didn't quite capture the authentic experience I was hoping for. It fell short in terms of flavor, taste, and presentation. The noodles were slightly overcooked, but that was manageable. The California roll was decent, though not as good as others I've had before. Overall, it was an average experience. I didn't want to complain, as I wanted my family to enjoy a stress-free dining outing. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent!"

"This local sushi restaurant is amazing! I have been searching for a place that offers delicious sushi for takeout during lunchtime. Samurai Blue has a fantastic lunch special with 4 simple rolls for only $15. I'm thinking of sharing the special with my partner next time and trying a specialty roll for a perfect lunch. The pickup was super quick, only took about 20 minutes. The interior of the restaurant is also adorable. The staff were very kind and welcoming. It was the perfect way to break up my work day. Absolutely lovely!"

"Not the absolute best sushi in Middle Georgia but it 's pretty good. So far ahead of what you can get at Little Tokyo in other locations. Idk if it 's the chef or management, but this location has been my favorite since I found it. Of Little Tokyo locations I mean. The servers are all great. But ask for Gabby P specifically. She can tell you everything about the menu and is a lifelong sushi lover. Tell her Bop Bop sent ya! "We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. While Sarasota is known for having subpar Chinese cuisine, this restaurant stands out as an exception. One suggestion for improvement would be to play some background music to enhance the atmosphere, and it would be nice to see a bit more flavor in the dishes. For instance, the spicy orange beef didn't have any spice at all. Overall, it was a great meal!"

"Haven't gone since they originally opened. Family found it expensive. We continued going to their competitor, Lampu's, for their cheaper price at the time, but after awhile we realized their care and taste of hibachi was going down hill. We headed to Kiku's and realized the extra few bucks and better tasting food was heck of a lot better. Also, very nice staff! Will be returning!"
