"We enjoyed our dinner at capo and loved the comedy show! We had never been and wanted to experience the food and ambience. I’m gluten free so eating out at Italian restaurants can be tricky. Thankfully I was able to order gluten free calamari and get a gluten free pasta dish, which was amazing. One thing I will say is I was disappointed that I was unable to get a gluten free eggplant parm. After seeing that tuesdays they offer a gluten free dinner, I assumed it wouldn’t be an issue. All that they can offer gluten free is the options listed as such in the menu and gluten free pasta. I wish they’d offer what they offer on gluten free nights on any other night. Even if you up charged a bit for the item. I would pay! All in all love the restaurant and we will be back on a Tuesday! :"

"We opted to sit on the covered outdoor terrace, which I would highly recommend. It was sunny yet shaded, right by the water, and we enjoyed a lovely breeze that kept the temperature comfortable. I ordered the huevos rancheros with chorizo, and it was a light and delicious dish to start the day. The atmosphere was relaxing and made it easy to enjoy our time there. We lingered a bit longer to have a few drinks—primarily because it was part of a package, but also because the staff was so friendly and welcoming, making it a delightful experience. For those who love taking photos, there are plenty of picturesque spots around the restaurant, whether by the water or with the oversized chair right in front of the terrace. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return on my next visit to San Diego, as their menu had many enticing dishes that I want to try!"

"They were severely understaffed... they had one waitress for the whole restaurant and she was doing her very best to stay on top of every table. They appeared to have cooks in the back (open concept so you can see into the kitchen) and there was also a manager running around like a chicken with his head cut off. One bus man was also walking around but looked overwhelmed and confused. We asked the waitress if they were just understaffed that day and she didn't really give an answer and said she just got there and wasn't sure what the issue was. Tables were getting up and leaving, angry at the waitress when it really wasn't her fault. This was clearly an management issue and not having enough staff on a night when a sold out concert was happening at the XL center (every other restaurant was booked solid), they had multiple events at the hotel happening as well, so they should have been better prepared. They waitress took the brunt of everything and removed her gratuity that is automatically added to the check, which wasn't right... she shouldn't have to pay the price because of poor management.She had tears in her eyes as she dropped off the check. We left her a nice cash tip. The food wasn't bad and drinks were good, but based on this experience, I wouldn't go back"

"I added in the notes/comments section upon making the reservation, that it was my partner’s birthday and immediately when we arrived he was greeted with a “happy birthday”. The manager was also kind enough to bring a treat with a candle to the table for them and again told them “happy birthday!” It wasn’t our first time here but I must say service is always stellar here, whether we’re celebrating something or not."

"One of my favorite spots for brunch in Bellingham. It’s a good idea to get a reservation on the weekends as it fills up fast! Food is excellent, service is astounding. I like that you can still sit outside even when it’s chilly due to their tent and heaters. Some of my fave dishes are the steak bites, banana bread (they have the best raspberry preserves), fish and chips, and the Monte Cristo sandwich. So good! They also have a wonderful drink menu and rotating specials if you like that sort of thing! Definitely check it out!"

"a great place with outside seat. I was here to meet my team and we decided to sit outside. the manager was a nice guy who immediately made our table and sat outside. it was a pleasant evening. we ordered various drinks and appetizers and main course. because it was my first time in this restaurant, my team helped drink and eat. at the end our main course was among us, as everything was very delicious. I often avoid eating cheese because I feel the strange taste of it. but here I enjoyed everything. the staff was very friendly and made sure that we were taking care of it by filling our glass water and asking if we needed another round drinks and they were very friendly. a great evening with my team, in a cozy restaurant. it is good for romantic dinners and also for large groups, please make sure that they enjoy a reservation, every bit of it. I highly recommend it if they love Italian cuisine."

"Our waiter took longer than expected to come to our table, and when he noticed we were using a Groupon, he said he would bring the chef's special menu. That took another 10 minutes. While we waited for the menus, we ordered a bottle of wine, but then we were told they were out of that selection, even though they had plenty of other options available. When the appetizers arrived, the waiter asked if we would like bread and butter to go with the next course (the salad). We said yes, but it never came. Shortly after that, the waiter returned to inform my wife that they were out of mahi-mahi, but they had another fish dish available that she could substitute. She agreed to that. When our meals finally arrived, they were delicious, but the service and organization that evening could have been significantly better."

"Poor service. Had a table outside of the outdoor tent, with no heater, and a view of the parking lot. The servers seemed rushed, forgot my cocktail, and when reordered it was a terrible shade of muddy grey. The food was fine but the were servers slow again to check in for another round of beverages. No hot tea or soda drink options for my friend who doesn't drink. We sat with our credit cards on the check for literally 20 minutes until we finally walked it inside to hand it to the server who made no apology for forgetting about us."

"My first time eating here was for my birthday. I had read the reviews and had some friends talk about their experience. Over all not a bad experience. we were seated at the bar, was able to watch the bartenders make cocktails. Service was good, it didtake a while to have our order taken. Although the food was good, I did find the price a bit high based on what was received. Iunderstand a lot of factors go into building the price list, I just thought for a spot that is claimed to be one of the best inYYJ, my expectation was higher than what was received."

"The service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. I celebrated my birthday there during Sunday brunch and everyone in our group of 15 was happy with their meal. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which was very flavorful. Other people in our group ordered the chicken and waffles, breakfast sandwich, and a fancy salad, all of which looked and tasted great. I will definitely be going back again, this time to try their dinner menu."

"Our reviews had over 36 million views so far this year. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Luca Osteria because the food is great and the location is wonderful. Parking is a bit of an issue so come early, reservations are a must. OMG the food is unreal. So good. Be sure to get the truffle pasta. All the apps are great we had the local Stracciatella cheese which is excellent. Must have is the potatoes with the egg yolk on top (Patate Fritte) which has super light potato paste fried with a yummy white sauce and yolk on top which they mix up tableside. Carne Cruda is great too. Best pasta if you do not care for truffles is the Bucatini (spaghetti in tube form) with 600 day prosciutto. Really divine. We had all desserts and all were great. Semifreddo is liked in all reviews, but I liked all of them the same, all were aces. Great spot, lovely diners, staff and bartenders. Will come back often for sure, lots of outside seating in a neat outdoor mall atmosphere. Dress to impress. Check out all of our photos and all of our reviews. "The entire experience here is simple... The interior and decor is friendly and warm... simple. The menu selections pizza on one side and pastas and salads on the other... simple. The ingredients are fresh, house made, blended beautifully, and, yes... simple. The service is neighborly like one experiences when invited to someone's home for dinner. Simple. The Credo salad is crisp, light, with thinly sliced apple, Fontana cheese, walnuts greens and herbs... simply delicious. The Spaghetti Carbonara is balanced perfectly between cheeses, delicious pancetta, egg, fresh cracked pepper, and in house perfectly cooked spaghetti. Who knew that such a wonderful meal and experience could be so simple."

"We were seated in the back in a very lovely atmosphere. The front of the restaurant is a bit more chaotic with the open kitchen and the entrance, so we were happy with the location we were sat. The waitress was great and the food was delicious. The bolognese was the best thing out of the 3 pastas we had. Will definitely go back for a date or couples gathering."
