"My experience on this website was extremely unpleasant. Using open table I booked what I thought was a reservation. Upon arrival to the location, I am informed that not only is this restaurant/ location not affiliated to the opentable website; but wait time would be approximately 1 hour. Despite having received an email from open table confirming a “reservation”, BJ’s Restaurant at the Del Amo Fashion Center refused to validate booking and seat our party. Management at this establishment, at the time of expected service “Chris” confirmed booking through the website was only a “quote” of the expected time of service. I was assured nothing could be done since the restaurant was full low staffed. It’s important to note that I have dined at this location on several occasions, and was not nearly as busy compared to past visits. We were encouraged to wait, our party was seated within 15 minutes. Please note my review is based on booking through this website, and the miscommunication between open table corporate BJ’s Restaurants and managing staff. Our waitress was lovely, and the restaurant accommodated to our party as they could. I want to believe that BJ’s is no longer affiliated to open table, and if this is the case please REMOVE THE RESERVATION OPTION. It’s extremely disappointing to use this service only to be let down."

"Our family came to Embers last night for dinner our party’s reservation somehow was lost in the confusion of the host’s station. They were so busy that the manager’s wife jumped up from having her meal to help out behind the bar! We waited for a while, but the manager/owner was so nice paid for a couple rounds of drinks for 8 people 3 appetizers once we were finally sat. We would definitely return because of how gracious apologetic the staff was. Our waitress was amazing so sweet. The atmosphere was great, the food was phenomenal (get the jalapeño mac cheese! , the restaurant itself was gorgeous. Thank you, Embers, for being so accommodating! We will be returning!"

"I had a great time celebrating a birthday at this restaurant. The Caesar Salad was delightful, featuring crisp lettuce and a light dressing. However, I found the clam chowder to be underwhelming; it was a bit watery and lacked the rich flavor I remembered from my last visit five years ago. Everyone at the table enjoyed their entrees, which included Fish and Chips, Prime Rib Dip, and Mediterranean Chicken Tacos. The Fish and Chips were crispy and excellent, and the Prime Rib Dip received high praise as well. We also enjoyed the handcrafted root beer, sweetened with cane sugar; it had a light and refreshing taste that was simply delicious. To top it off, we savored a complimentary Pizookie with vanilla ice cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, we would definitely return to any BJ's Brewhouse in the future."

"We spent about $110 on this meal. I got a soggy salad with room temperature, cut up frozen chicken tenders on it for $18. My husband got a very dry prime rib sandwich with about 12 french fries for $19. We shared $21 nachos as an appetizer. They were good, not good enough to be that expensive, but still very good. We also got wings which we ended up taking home. They were okay. We also had two beers and a cider between us, which were all just okay. The service was just okay as well. All in all, this was such a disappointing meal that I stressed about spending that much on it the whole ride home. Not a good experience and won't return."

"The food was dry, and the plates were dirty. I used to dine here every other week when heading south, but my recent visit left me feeling unwelcome. It seemed like the owner, who has an unfortunate appearance, lacked any warmth or hospitality. I used to go out of my way for their fried chicken—it was worth a 40-mile detour. "Everything was good but everything came late wait for drinks was about mins til someone came by. For food we waited about mins and desert was almost an hour. "All I can say is Wow! BJ’s catered our outdoor wedding in East Jordan there wasn’t a single missed step! They brought the food over in catering vans as we were having a “backyard wedding” and their staff were so friendly and helpful! They cleared the tables and made sure everything was cleaned up. We hired BJ’s for bar along with buffet service. The bartender did an amazing job and we heard nothing but compliments about her. The buffet truly blew us away- we had BBQ Chicken, Brisket, Garlic Mash, Green Beans, and a few other sides and everything was delicious. We had multiple guests looking for seconds. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a caterer! Prices were also very reasonable Gayla was friendly and helpful every step of the way!"

"Our waiter was excellent…very professional and saw to it that every desire was met. My husband had the filet mignon and I had the halibut special and both were prepared perfectly and were delicious. "First off we get there and the wait staff doesn’t even know how to locate a reservation once they do they do not even guide us to our table but point at the table for us to seat ourselves. Our waitress was lost did not bring us bread until we asked and we had to keep waiving everyone down for placing our orders, for salt, olive oil, and pepper which all the other tables had on them. In addition the past was hard they put tagliatelle on the menu but what they served was fettuccine and of arancini balls were still cold in the middle that the cheese was not even melted. By far one of the worst Italian restaurants i have ever fined at, will definitely not be returning again."

"We arrived for our reservation at 7 PM and were seated promptly. All evening long the service was impeccable. My wife and I shared a Beet Salad, she had Veal Parmesan and I opted for the Meat Lasagna. All 3 dishes were excellent with portions large enough that we will enjoy them again at home. The prices were reasonable in today's world, especially for the portion sizes. We will definitely return."

"pretty good Italian creations. you brot is great. they do all pfefferoni well from the pizza to the ankle sandwich, which is a delicious stack of them in their wonderful brot. her menu is probably the biggest missed opportunity I have ever seen in the hundreds of restaurants I visited and reviewed. for example, my first order here was via door pocket to find a menu. after I found the ground descriptions, I went to her website to see if it was shortened for easy ordering. No. for the first time as in the henke I should know what Sunday sauce, affensalat or the many other strange descriptions listed. cool funny names cool, no description really? would you like new customers? fyi affensalat is a small salat with thunfish clumps. I'm glad I spent only $ 1 on it because I found it on the hard one."

"beautiful evening. they made the night special by putting heart on our table. they had ribeye especially for Valentine's Day. we both had that with kartoffels. hubby had brisket soup and mac n cheese. I had salat and green beans. I also had their sweeties martini and glass taxi. the steak was perfectly cooked. juicy and the taste did not need any improvement. the appetizer we had were Mac balls with the pfeffer jacket. everything was high quality, tasty and perfectly cooked. the environment was like a casual bar n grill, but romantic with a land vibe. her exterior had lighter and the flow to make it even more romantic, although we stayed in this visit. comes back in definitiw."
