"My experience on this website was extremely unpleasant. Using open table I booked what I thought was a reservation. Upon arrival to the location, I am informed that not only is this restaurant/ location not affiliated to the opentable website; but wait time would be approximately 1 hour. Despite having received an email from open table confirming a “reservation”, BJ’s Restaurant at the Del Amo Fashion Center refused to validate booking and seat our party. Management at this establishment, at the time of expected service “Chris” confirmed booking through the website was only a “quote” of the expected time of service. I was assured nothing could be done since the restaurant was full low staffed. It’s important to note that I have dined at this location on several occasions, and was not nearly as busy compared to past visits. We were encouraged to wait, our party was seated within 15 minutes. Please note my review is based on booking through this website, and the miscommunication between open table corporate BJ’s Restaurants and managing staff. Our waitress was lovely, and the restaurant accommodated to our party as they could. I want to believe that BJ’s is no longer affiliated to open table, and if this is the case please REMOVE THE RESERVATION OPTION. It’s extremely disappointing to use this service only to be let down."

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, we were not assigned a waitress for our table, so we had to ask for assistance from someone else.

The service was good, but the only issue that I had was I was under the impression that I was supposed to have a pizookie brought to my table as part of the service. I had specifically mentioned in the reservation details on OpenTable that it was my birthday dinner. Other than that, everything was fine.

My friend and I had lunch here. I had not been here in quite a few years, but she ate here last month so she knew that there was a lunch menu, which we were not given when we were seated. The server got the menus for us. The food was delicious (wedge salad and clam chowder for my friend and the Mediterranean chicken bowl for me). Because we were celebrating a birthday, server presented us with a complimentary Pizooki. That was a nice touch! View menu

I loved BJ’s up until this past visit. Service was aweful with the exception of a i’m assuming manager on duty (since he was dressed formal). Waiter wasn’t so attentive, stated she didn’t need to write down our order since she was experienced and did it on a daily. Only to forget half my order, she was made aware and took forever to bring condiments that came with order. Thank you for the quick deliverance of condiments to the manager who went and came as soon as we asked him for it the third time she had already forgot and the dia counted wings that were originally not placed in addition to my other order that never arrived. I had a horrible experience here. For starters the waiter was extremely rude and acted like he didn’t want to be there. He wrote my drink order incorrectly and after bringing me a half full martini didn’t even offer to have it remade. We ordered our food and one of the items we selected were the bread bowls. After making us wait for almost an hour we were told they didn’t have any bread bowls and were given the soups by themselves. The waitress that brought out the soups was also extremely rude and after we informed her we would not be wanting the bowls anymore since that was not what we ordered she scoffed at us laughed and walked away.
