"I have recently had to become vegetarian for a health issue. And this restaurant was amazingly accommodating. I started with the goat cheese and tomato appetizer. It came with a crisp on top that was deliciously salted. I got a vegetable plate (pictured below) that was beyond delectable. It pretty much hit every flavor on your palate. Cauliflower, Broccoli, shaved carrots all covered in a citrus vinaigrette; then with savory grains, purple rice with parmesan cheese, polenta and a beautiful tomato filled with couscous. Then umami mushrooms with leafy greens and edible floral arrangements. It was aesthetically joyful and completely filling. I haven’t cleaned my plate in awhile but here you have no choice highly recommended to anyone looking for something fresh, high quality, and well priced."

"I first ordered a lasagna pizza and a side of garlic bread. Everything tasted great, but I did notice that the toppings tended to slide off since they were quite heavy. Additionally, the garlic bread had more of a butter flavor than a strong garlic taste. Overall, I would definitely order from here again. They also offer their own home delivery, which was very convenient since I paid in cash!"

"Awesome bands come to play here and that makes it worth the trip.!!! The price of the food is fair considering the ambience and the entertainment.. The food I ordered which was pot roast with mashed potatoes was stone cold when they delivered it which is totally unacceptable. I had asked to substitute a vegetable medley instead of the asparagus. Some of the carrots and broccoli were so hard, as if they had just been cut and thrown in instead of cooking them first. I normally get the stadium tenders or pizza and believe me that’s what I will get next time! The waitress was as attentive as she could be considering the large amount of people."

"The only standout of the evening was the charcuterie board appetizer. We were unable to find valet parking, so we parked ourselves. The hostess was unenthusiastic upon greeting us, and our server was underwhelming. We felt rushed throughout the dinner and the noise level was incredibly loud. My husband and I were hoping for a new date night spot, as the restaurant claims to be "fine dining". However, it was far from fine dining - more like a pricier version of TGI Fridays."

"The cheese pizza I had was quite filling, but that’s where the positives end. The cheese had a rubbery texture, the sauce was insufficient and bland, and the dough was chewy, lacking both flavor and proper cooking. Overall, the pizza reminded me of the kind I endured in school, which I was eager to forget—definitely not a good sign. While pizza is generally an affordable meal option, these plain slices were over $3.50 each! For something so basic and unappealing, that's outrageous. There are countless places in and around NYC that offer much better pizza at lower prices. It's shocking how expensive this disappointing pizza is, especially given how many tourists and locals the restaurant attracts. The price for a whole pizza is somewhat reasonable, at least. Unfortunately, the worst part came shortly after finishing the pizza—I experienced a severe stomachache that felt like intense menstrual cramps for hours. I completely lost my appetite for dinner and only managed to eat some fruit, which was uncomfortable to do. It’s worth noting that I hadn’t eaten anything else beforehand, so the pizza was definitely the culprit. Who knows, maybe there was actual rubber or plastic in that cheese? I wouldn’t be shocked. The pizza on display also looked dry, overly thin, and of poor quality. Additionally, I’ve ordered from here before, and I can confirm that you cannot microwave this pizza. It cools down rapidly, so if you order more than one slice, reheating is almost a necessity. However, when you do, the pizza becomes even tougher and chewier (and tasteless) than before. Trust me, do NOT microwave this pizza. I’ve tried it and regretted ordering pizza entirely. I wouldn’t have bothered writing a review if it weren't for the stomachache—it truly was the last straw. This place will definitely be my last choice for takeout on the island from now on."

"aht aht! find another pizza place. I ordered a cheese Sicilian pizza and a Greek salad. the pizza crust was burned to a dark crack. When I went to the test, it was crispy like hard brezels and it was cold. I had hoped to satisfy my hunger with the Greek salate I bought, and that was also terribly thrown together. the one sharp pfeffer that they put in it tastes as if it is soaked in a kind of poisonous chemical, the egg looked like a large lump feta cheese, had no egg yolk and was not cut, but pulled apart. the dressing taste as if she oil from her frit and mix it with white table. I spoke to someone under the name bruno to tell him how disappointed I was and he was so ignorant and nonchalant. I will never spend my hard-earned money there again. oh and to supplement injuries, bruno has ordered the place. on its own risk."

"I want to start by mentioning that I work for a third-party delivery service (like Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash). This is the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever ordered from. The food looks absolutely AMAZING. I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, but I place a good number of orders from here, so I’m confident it tastes just as good as it looks. I have to commend the exceptional customer service, teamwork, and cleanliness of this establishment. I highly recommend paying attention to the cleanliness of the places where you eat. "The ambiance is the best part of this restaurant. I’m from NYC and aside from NYC and Las Vegas I would think Miami would have great food. I got the high spirits drink which was delicious. I was disappointed with the food at Jaya. I got the Miami Spice menu and had the truffle dumplings and wok fried beef. The dumplings were good because of the truffle but the scallops inside didn’t taste fresh. The wok friend beef was average. My boyfriend got chicken fried rice and it was so plain, no taste whatsoever. The cream puff dessert was good, though the puff was so hard it was difficult to break a piece off with the spoons they gave us. Our waiter was consistent at the beginning, once our food came we never saw him again until he brought us the check. Thankfully there was plenty of other staff that came to refill our water or ask how the food was because our waiter would’ve never known if we needed anything. Overall if you’re looking for a picturesque spot or Instagram worthy post go for a drink, save your money on the food"

"we met a friend to celebrate his birthday in the terrace grill. we came around five when they opened and enjoyed their amazing happy hour that lasts until 630. we tried quite everything on the bar bites menu and drinks that were very cheap. we were really impressed that the waitress surprised us with a complementary dessert to celebrate the occasion. the quality of eating, the ambiente and the impeccable service really made an unforgettable evening. try the Sunday brunch next time!"

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic and the portion sizes were just right. They even brought out bread and butter before the meal, which was a nice touch. "The food was mediocre at best, but we ordered the arancini and it was HORRIBLE, totally drowned in sauce, everything about it was awful. We took one bite and immediately asked a passing server to take it back because it was so awful. When it came to paying the bill, we asked to check that it was removed and were told that because we took a bite we had to pay for it and that it was restaurant policy and there was nothing they could do about it. After having a fairly bad server who seemed incredibly new and struggled to take our order at every step of the way, followed by food that was not great, to be told we had to pay for something that was so bad we couldn’t eat it and sent it back immediately was infuriating. 0 stars, I will never go back here, and will absolutely be sharing my experience and frustrations."

"Food was excellent, as always. Noise level was a bit much given we were seated next to the kitchen, which is not the best place in the restaurant. Maybe a bit of a rearrangement of the tables would be better a panel to block the view and the noise could help with the experience. Waiters also could hardly hear and understand some or our guests. This was dinner time, after 6pm. Our guests had to use the flashlight with the phone to be able to read the menu this is something you could look into it? Lights were switched off creating a bar atmosphere, but surely its good for the bar where you just order your drink, but not at the table where you want to decide what to eat?"

"Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! We enjoyed zucchini and eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza as appetizers, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had Tavern BBQ Ribs and a 30oz Tomahawk Rib Eye steak, which we shared. The sides of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns were tasty, although the hash browns were a bit crunchy. Our desserts, carrot cake and homemade apple crisp, were also fantastic. The wait staff even sang happy birthday to my wife when they brought out her dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you to everyone at Hendricks Tavern for making my wife's birthday dinner special and memorable."
