"Because I am anaphylactic to many foods, I emphasize the importance of avoiding cross-contamination. After placing my order, a woman (who seemed to be a manager) approached our table and informed me that they couldn't prepare my broccolini as I requested because it was already marinated. I explained that this hadn't been an issue in the past, and I had sometimes taken the same meal home, only to discover that the broccolini was indeed marinated, rendering the meal inedible for me.
After my sister reassured her that I had ordered my meal this way many times at Earl's before, the manager suggested that perhaps they couldn't accommodate my request because there wasn't any "extra" broccolini available; if they had any on hand, then they could help me. I'm confident that Earl's can do better than your average restaurant when it comes to accommodating their customers. In fact, I know they can, as I've experienced it in the past."
