"It’s a pity how poor the service is. It seems none of the staff were trained. We were seated on time for our reservation but then no one came over to the table for about 15 min. The bread and oil were very tasty. A majority of our table tried the prefix menu and were surprised at the serving sizes. For 3 courses there was way too much food and it was such a waste! The food was just ok, my husband does not recommend the patatas bravas and the paella was mediocre at best. The worst part of our experience was that none of the plates from the first course were cleared before the second course came out and they began to auction the dishes to us. We had to collect our own plates and move them to the next table to make room. One of the servers also spilt soup on one of the guests in our party and they hardly apologized, nor did they offer a towel to clean it up. I would not go back and I do not recommend at all. "Tapatio Mexican Grill never disappoints. The menu, food and drinks are always excellent. The fresh baked chips and salsa are delicious. We've been coming to Tapatio for years, both with and without our kids. As is often the case, during this meal we encountered several friends who we don't see often enough and enjoyed catching up. We all agreed that Tapatio is truly the best neighborhood restaurant for enjoying a meal and reconnecting with family, friends and the community. Tapatio is a longtime favorite place to eat."

"I've ordered from this restaurant twice, and both times my order was incorrect. There's always something off with what I receive. For instance, I ordered tres golpes, but it didn't come with fried cheese. I requested cheese empanadas and received chicken instead. I also ordered a combo that included baked chicken, moro, and beans, but the beans were missing. The moro was very dry, almost as if it wasn't fresh, and the mangu was overly oily."

"I went to Rumba Cubana Guttengerg yesterday for my mom's birthday. Our waiter was very accomodating, friendly and professional. We had an assortment of diahes. All good. My thing is the place was packed and hectic with students graduation and their families arriving in masses. You could see the place gradually getting more and more crowdy amd yet the staff kept pushing food out amd taking orders. We spent several hours in there but it was enjoybale and fun to watch and be part of the celebrations. The staff was gracious and hard as well as smart working! Again, we had so much food yet the prices were decent and the drinks prices were equally decent. I will highly recomend the Papamaya made with Patron White and natural papaya puree. The best amd healthiest cocktail I've had in a while! In addition, the Rumba Cubana in Guttennerg has valet parking which is extremely convenient because althought street parking is available more often than not at peak hours parkin is not easy. People are friendly and they go there to eat and drink. I will come back and have been for a number of years even if this is my first review I've been a customer for over a decade and Rumba Cubana in Guttengber gets better with time. See you'll there!"

"We used to love this Spanish Tapas restaurant. Eat outside right on the Scottsdale Riverfront. Completely inattentive and lack of service last night. One of two inattentive waiters came over, tried to upsell us on the prix fixe dinner and the half off $340 bottle of wine. Usually, aioli and rolls arrive shortly. We had to ask the waiter twice. Then he brings just the aioli. Finally, the rolls arrive, after the tapas arrive. I notice that everyone eating outside like us had NO rolls on the table, while everyone inside had bread baskets on their table. Weird. Ordered the $44 pitcher of sangria...but where's the fruit in the sangria? One tiny piece of apple and orange? And the complete lack of alcohol was disappointing. Tasted more like a white wine spritzer without the wine. Order three tapas and a platter of paella. The tapas were so so, and pretty much just dumped on the table. No explanation of what was what. The seafood paella was underwhelming. I've had better before at other tapas restaurants. Overall, the bill was $138 and I hardly felt there was enough value there. I know food is expensive, but the menu items are priced over the top now. We eat here semi-regularly, and every year we eat here prior to Scottsdazzle. But we're rethinking our annual tradition and we'll find a new restaurant to dine at next year. Sorry....you lost a customer now."

"Great food and excellent service! I always enjoy coming here for the tacos. They used to have fantastic frozen margaritas, but I noticed they’re no longer available. The listing suggested it was a dinner meant for 3-4 people, but what I got was a lunch special that hardly fed 2. "We have been loyal customers of Herencia (and Mi Chula) for a long time and have recommended your restaurant to many others. However, during our last two visits, we've encountered an issue that concerns us. Due to COVID-19 precautions—especially since our daughter has a two-year-old and is pregnant—we specifically inquired about dining on the terrace ahead of time. Each time, we were told the terrace was open, but upon our arrival, we discovered it was actually closed. "We recently had our sons christening at Spanish Tavern of Mountainside and one word to describe it: amazing ! The food, service, attention to detail, availability for decor setup. Everything. Planning was simple and easy from the beginning thanks to Monica and Isaias. They made sure we saw everything through so that the party was exactly how we wanted. "Nice place very colorful. BYOB and they made us our sangria while we waited for the other couple to show. Tasted good with little pieces of fruit was nice change. The guys had ground beef enchiladas which were filled nicely and bubbly hot with melted cheese. Tasted very fresh. One of the ladies had taco salad which was big and nice amount of shredded chicken. Other one got a triple combo with enchilada, chimichanga and burrito. First two had ground beef last had shredded chicken. All were good although she seem to taste a curry flavor with the red sauce. Neither of us boys elthat had enchiladas with the red sauce had that flavor though. Service was fast and friendly. We asked if they had a military discount and they came back with 10% discount which was nice. Great place all around!"

"I have loved this place for so long but lately they have been lacking.. I’m not sure why but lately every time I order there’s always something missing example got the enchiladas and they forgot the sour cream , or got the chilaquiles and they only put one egg instead of 2) or they get the order wrong. "I ordered the DF picanha and the pineapple juice with mint. The pineapple juice came out first and it was phenomenal with the perfect level of sweetness. The atmosphere was moody and elegant with amazing music. I started imagining myself visiting more frequently...until the entree came out. My hands started hurting trying to cut the meat with the steak knife because the picanha was so tough and chewy. The pinto bean, rice, and tomato side that came with it tasted bland as if it came straight out of a can. Overall, I was disappointed to pay $46 for a simple meat dish with a side that tasted worse than tacologist. I was really torn between going here or texas de brazil because I was craving a good picanha.....I think a $20 steak from Texas Roadhouse with a side of mexican rice and beans from Barrios would taste 10x better. I would definitely go back for the drinks!"

"The food was delicious. We had 2 appetizers chicken quesadilla and the fried calamari. Both were wonderful. My girlfriend had steak shrimp fajitas, also great. And the value was outstanding, because it seemed like pre pandemic prices and quantity. Our waiter and the attending staff were very attentive and accommodating superior service. "So I’m changing my review finally. Because I finally food another Mexican restaurant that makes the guacamole for me a lot smaller and cheaper. First of all service here needs to be worked on. I think the waitresses got a little too comfortable with me because I was always coming everyday to eat here. Yes some stuff on their menu is good but not everything. I understand you want to make conversation and want to be cool with me because I was always coming but I’m just a customer coming to eat that’s it. Asking personal questions is a big NO. Secondly they’ve gotten so comfortable when I call to place a order they answer the phone saying want do u want I’m really busy… if you are busy then don’t answer the phone but to pick up the phone and say I’m busy want do you want Going forward this place is very expensive and not everything is good on the menu …when they service you water it’s warm and don’t add ice and if they do the put water first and then add the ice and warm still taste warm it should be add ice first then water. Also there water taste like start faucet water and they calm they have a filter for it. It’s disgusting so I don’t order water anymore or any drinks from here I just bring my own drinks now. Also , I can say this their guacamole is very good here but the down side is that they only do it one size and it’s a big size for 14$ very expensive and I don’t even Get to finish it because it’s to big … they don’t give you a option for a smaller one for cheaper .. so your stuck with paying for something to big and can’t finish . Orchata is kinda watery as well.their burrito de asada and chicken things toasda are very good and the ajillo shrimp dish is good but not everything on that menu is good. : this is Very pricy stop. But thank god o found me a restaurant that makes me that guacamole just as good and cheaper… when looking at my bank statements I’m spending 300 to 600$ a month on pulpo loco I think I derserve some better service … but that all changed now that I found me another restaurant… you’ll be seeing me a lot less now that I found that guacamole some where else lol :"

"I went to dance this last Saturday 26th, I expended all the time in the back right in from of the main door with my cousin who is a Dallas resident with the weirdest beard in town. Suddenly the most amazing girl ever arrived, never seen her in my life since I am not from here, and we dance a couple of salsa songs. We even had the chance to dance the last bachata ones and we did it like we knew each other since forever. Great music, great orchestra, great place.
