"We went to eat there for the first time and the service was great! BUT the food was not! It does not taste like authentic El Salvadorian food. We were disappointed to say the least. We ordered Carne Guisada, but it wasn’t guisada, it was just grilled slices of meat with sauce over it and vegetables. That’s not carne guisada. We also order Carne en Bistec. The meat tasted very old, was not fresh! The taste of both dishes were horrible ?This restaurant should not represent El Salvadorian food."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time over five years ago and really enjoyed it. Now that I’ve started working nearby, I decided to give it another try after a long time, and it has quickly become my favorite spot. The food is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly!"

"Absolutely delicious and flavorful food! It was one of the best Mexican meals I had. Unfortunately, the over the top loud music kills the ambiance, and the service is shady, at best. Went for a quick bite on Saturday, the music was very, very overwhelming, you couldn 't even think, let alone have a conversation with your company. Think you going eat at a club laud. Then, when it came to pay, we were automatically charged a gratuity, and there were only 3 of us, so not a large party. The tax was calculated based on the total amount due, including the automatic tip. Since when is this a norm? When we asked the waitress, for an explanation, she couldn 't give us a straight answer. She said, Because it 's Saturday, we add tip automatically. Yeah, not buying it. Bottom line, I might Door Dash it going forward."

"hands down some of THE best Mexican food i've ever had! i ordered the Enchiladas de Mole dinner with sour cream, chips with salsa, and a bottled Mexican Coke and everything was clearly made from scratch and with love the servings were generous, the mole sauce was complex and rich, the enchiladas were perfect, the rice and beans were delicious, the chips were fresh, and the salsas (which i was pleasantly surprised when i received both a roja salsa and verde enchilada sauce, some places don't do that! were unbelievable.everything had a nice spice level, more flavor oriented than spicy but it had a nice kick i added some hot sauce i had at home for a little bit more, but that's just my preference! the price for their bottled Coke is the most affordable i've seen in town which stood out to me since it's my favorite. i kid you not, the verde sauce could be bottled and sold, it's easily without a doubt the best i've ever had.and not only is the food phenomenal, but who i presume are the owners are very kind my bus was running severely behind when i scheduled a pickup for around 8ish PM so i didn't get there until 8:45 PM, which i felt terrible about; i assume it was slow so they were closing up early, but they waited for me and were understanding and so sweet. i'm newer to the area, but i can already tell this will permanently be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago.Vegetarian options: very good vegetarian options in almost every category of dish! they even have vegetarian tacos which i'm excited to tryKid friendliness: lovely small business with a warm environment, good owners, no coloring books or anything but it's a welcoming spot!"

"I?ve definitely found my new favorite place. I would come for the salsa alone. It was so cold and fresh and just perfect. My pet peeve is being served warm salsa so that did it for me. I ordered the Super fajitas and my daughter had the quesadilla. We both loved everything. The service was great, like my waitress was literally the nicest ever. The only 1 improvement for them is to have some booths available and put queso blanco on the menu, the queso they served us was"

"I dined here last night, October 18th, with an early dinner reservation. The evening started off well, with delicious drinks and a very good calamari appetizer. I ordered the churaso special, another diner had the ribeye special, and the third diner chose the shrimp in pumpkin. However, the service was quite disorganized. The steaks were served without steak knives, which was definitely a necessity, as they were very chewy and overly salty. It turned into a bit of a fiasco when we were charged extra for dry martinis. Although the management did correct the bar bill, the overall experience was very disappointing."

"Great atmosphere and ambiance. The setting for outdoor dining-along the river with a wonderful deck and patio-makes for a wonderful summer dining experience. Our waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but not amazing. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Bend."

"My boyfriend ordered a specific plate with shrimp, octopus and cayo de acha. Literally all was onion and cucumber, very little shrimp and no cayo de acha at all. When bringing it up to the server, she said that yes the cook had included the cayo de acha and just said sorry. I believe the server could have had better customer service in giving an alternate option in the order or replacing the meal to meet customer satisfaction. Would not come back here if I could give 0 stars I would."

"Every time I’ve been here, the experience has been outstanding. I’m fairly well traveled and the food is as authentically Mexican as you might find commonly in the Southwest or West Coast. Only Mexico itself would be more authentic. The food itself is outstanding quality with fresh ingredients and everything from the free chips and salsa to dessert is delicious.Drinks are really good. Service is very quick you can have a full course meal and be in and out in under 40 minutes easy. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities seem clean. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Top it off with a festive atmosphere and you’re in for a good experience every time here."

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"Our dinner at this restaurant was decent, but not outstanding. The chimichanga was chewy and lacked filling, and the beans and chips/salsa were just okay. The tacos were good, especially on Taco Tuesday. The Horchata was delicious, although we were disappointed that they ran out. The cheese dip was amazing. The atmosphere was very colorful and we would consider coming back for that alone. However, our server was not very attentive and the food did not all come out together. Overall, we may return in the future, but we are still looking for our favorite Mexican spot."

"Stopped in for a quick bite, the hobby and I. Super fast service. Free bowl of chips and salsa (needed a bit of salt on the chips) great fresh salsa very mild... I like it hot, but they had 4 different kinds of hit sauce on the table already, so A+! We splt 3 tacos, steak was my fav.. hubby liked lengua the best. Shrimp was good but nothing to write home about. Definitely will be back! Service: Dine in"

"My wife and I enjoyed everything we tried, from the chips and salsa to the beans and rice, as well as the fajitas and beef molcajete. The molcajete bowls were a favorite of mine back in Ohio, and this was the first time I've found one since moving to Arizona a few years ago. The service was outstanding as well. We’ll definitely be returning! Highly recommended!"

"Yeah if you really want to eat here look elsewhere. Disappointing haven’t been in a restaurant where I have to get my own cutlery and napkins. I asked for a burrito and really that’s all I got on a plate I was super surprised on the menu looked like you get salsa wow and seemed the people behind me asked for a dish and wasn’t possible. Yeah seems that anything here is to much trouble and I was sat near the kitchen you could see apron dumbed on the floor not really interested I have personally no interest going back."

"This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Columbia. The staff is fantastic! The salsa is the best I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant—just the right balance of spice and flavor, and the chips are excellent. I've been there multiple times, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. I highly, HIGHLY recommend giving this restaurant a try; you won't be disappointed. They offer some unique dishes that you won't find at other Mexican restaurants, which really helps them stand out and provides a wider selection. Plus, they have a tortillaria where you can watch them make fresh tortillas right in-house. This place truly has it all!"

"greeted and was seated immediately though from our party were running late (we were total). we were immediately served chips n salsa, which i must say was fresh w/ a nice spice blend. timing was right as we placed our order when our late attendees had just arrived. nice ambiance. seated in area what seemed like a dance room with a dj booth off to one corner. took a while to wave down our waiter for water refills. mexican music was playing which i liked but we caught ourselves yelling over the table and straining to hear each other and had to ask to have the volume turned down. everyone liked their plates. though, when mine arrived it was not hot, seemed it sat and cooled since i was served last at our table noticing too that our neighboring table of was being served at the same time. i had the carne asada enchilada. i picked up what seemed like tendon that was hard to chew and dare not swallow. but over all it was ok. i do plan to go back, however, will try a different dish next time around."

"Don’t stress too much about delivery orders. There’s a good chance they’re just messing with you and your delivery driver. I went in to pick up a customer’s order (they must have deliberately chosen to use Grubhub), but they pretended the system wasn’t working and claimed they couldn’t see any orders. It was clear that they simply didn’t feel like handling delivery orders and didn’t even check their app. My time and the supplier's time were completely wasted."

"This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. It's the authenticity, friendly staff, great service, and Margarita Rita for me! My husband and I are regulars, and we are treated like family every time we walk into this place. Also, if you go during lunch on weekdays they offer an all you can eat street taco bar."

"Came here for dinner on Sunday night and it was BUSY to say the least! Although this is the second time I've tried to eat at this Gloria's, I apparently didn't get the hint by making a reservation beforehand! The whole meal that we had had tasted great, our server was so nice, and we had a good time. The only thing that wasn't good were the drinks. We started off by ordering somemargaritas on the rocks the Spicy Mango and Spicy Pineapple Margaritas. One sip in and my drink was entirely too sweet sowas my friend's. We didn't want to complain but they were just too sweet to drink. Our server was so nice and offered to replacethem. We ended up ordering two Palomas in Moscow. When we tried those drinks we realized that the margaritas weren't a fluke butat that point it was the bartender the Palomas were too sweet as well. Come to find out from our server later, their regularbartenders weren't working that night and the two they had were fill ins. That was a let down. Because I don't like to wastealcohol ????(and our server had kindly said before he brought the Palomas out that we couldn't swap again) I slowly drank mydrink but it took me a while, even after finishing my meal. Besides that, all of our food tasted great. We shared the Pupusasand the Combination Fajitas. The Pupusas were hot and delicious and the slaw was just right. The Fajitas were also really good, the steak cooked just right and both the corn and flour tortillas tasted great. The rice and beans that are usually an afterthought at many other Tex Mex and Latin restaurants were also really good the rice was so flavorful! For dessert we endedeverything out with the Flan (mainly because it's my one and only favorite dessert and I hadn't tried it at Gloria's before),and it was so decadent and creamy! That was one of the best Flan's I've ever had ???? Besides the bad drinks and they were bad the rest of my meal was really good and our server was very attentive and super nice. I will def"
