"Ok so was just in Cancun the week of 10/3 and made reservations at Crab House. Read the prior reviews and wanted to check it out myself. I was celebrating a birthday and was excited to arrive and promptly greeted by the hostess. I was led to a wonderful table with a beautiful view of the sunset. The waiter followed and introduced himself and we were off and running. Music was playing and the place was nice an lively. I liked the level of the energy in the restaurant. Looking at the menu I was guided and if there were any questions their staff had all the answers and more. We made our selections for dinner and was surprised at how great everything turned out. I had a large lobster tail (16oz) and it was the best. Oh and the drinks...yes there was a mixologist that comes around with a cart and crafts anything you want. I let him make me a drink he suggested and it was great. Overall my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time...met the head cook...the manager and other patrons. It was nice. I would say that the prices are very American and you can run into some but the quality is great. Just go and have fun and you too will be writing a wonderful review. When in Cancun I will be back at Crab House for yet another great time!!!"

Higher prices for crab and lobster I have seen worldwide in a Crab House over 150 USD. Other food expensive and average cooking. DJ vey noisy not for this king of restaurant. Location excellent view an landscape. Service average,

Food was good. When we got there the music was a little loud. Felt like you were in a night club. When the dj was done, out came a performer. Then the music loudness was better. The server was good, but he spent more time indoors than his tables on the patio. Overall it was a nice experience and we will be back when back in Cancun.

had a problem with a meal, we were not looking for something, just let them know that it was overcooked and the manager gave it to the server. he gave a dessert for the problem, but his explanation was more of a problem, then the overlaid salmon themselves. simply take responsibility and do them, not explain, the fact that eating was overcooked to a cook. negatiw: eating was terrible quality. the fried calamari and the seafood table for two was over $200 and had only two kings crooked legs, some garnel, a piece lobster, and stone crab that did not good quality. too expensive for bad eating. our bill was $500 for two adults and two children! the only pro was the service was great however and the drinkmann was great.

for the water these prices are literally harmful. the service was great, but I will say anywhere in this area will serve them perfectly. our bill was over 200 drinking water, we had muscle remover, seafood pasta and a half plate that consisted of 1/2 pound crab legs 1 lobster dick and some garnel. after the sticker shock we enjoyed our eating atmosphere and service was perfect. we got the bill from our waiter and was told that 15% of the congratulate was the normal and that is what we tilted. After we looked at my bill translated into English, we have tilted 50%, which made the bill more than 300.
