"I'm so glad I could visit this place personally. it was completely booked, so we sat at the bar, and I am so glad that we did. we met the amazing barkeeper Wei-Wei, who made great drinks and delivered good suggestions. the rest of the staff, including rebecca, and the customers were all cool. the brittle sprouts and the bao buns are really good. both seem very popular. almost everyone had one of them. it is a little expensive, but it is worth eating, drinks and people. it's a whole power! update: I had the banh mi the next day, so it doesn't look as pretty as the other dishes. it's good, but it's got a kick to him. if they don't like spicy good, I don't recommend to them to get this. update of the entry: I brought a friend here after I've been riding around this place for weeks. we sat in the escort, and our server was not very attentive, even after several try to get their attention. my friend noticed how they were very attentive to another table (may perhaps be a known one).) there was a problem with our order, and we had to get the information from another server because our never said anything to us. in the grunde our meal came before our appetizers. I had an idea first because our server said the table that they were so attentive. so or so, it made a bad taste in the mouth of my friend, and I was embarrassed. we ended our party early. I'll come back and I asked my friend to come back, but we'll be sitting on the bar now. I wish I could take off my assessment half a star, but I had to go down a full star because of the system. about eating, the bao buns were good. the kartoffelgnocchi was good, but it is very small. for it was a composition (worship,) it was quite small. the oyster mushroom calamari was fair, but my friend enjoyed it. I would not recommend the mac cheese if there were so many better options on the menu. updated by the previous review on 2022-05-06"

"We decided to go to this restaurant as our last night in Newport before going back to the Washington DC area. The ambience was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very kind except I guess she was one of the Managers. At the end of our meal, she came by to see if we wanted the check before even offering us dessert. We told her we were not ready yet. Never did she come by just see if we were okay and pleased with everything. Our waiter was so gracious and asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu which we reviewed and respectfully declined. The woman Manager came back again and asked did you get the check yet? I politely asked her is there a reason we are being asked to leave? She said oh no I just was checking because I read it was your anniversary and I wanted to see if you want a piece of cake. I politely declined her cake as we travel all over the country and I have never been asked twice if I need the check. Was she questioning our ability to satisfy the expense? My husband reminded me although identified as four star, luxury level restaurants know better than to do that. So essentially it speaks for itself.Hospitality 101 is to never rush your customers especially new ones out of your restaurant especially when no one is waiting on the table. Treat all customers with the same respect! You never know who you are talking too, and unfortunately I will remember this poor decision.Otherwise, thank you to the waiter and host that were so great!"
