"Okay... E3... They 've been on my list since they opened but we just haven 't made time to go. I 'm glad we finally did and can confidently say that, based on my experience last night, this is one of the best steakhouses in Nashville. They have been open since November 2019, just before you know what, and had all the same struggles as everyone else in the service industry, but over the last six months or so they 've been able to make an incredible come back. A couple different GMs, a couple different chefs, etc, etc. That said, the team that is there last night absolutely seems to have their stuff together. We were able to meet several members of the staff and every single one of them was extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Service is obviously the driving factor here and it was, in every way possible, top notch. This is a high end restaurant and the experience, obviously, comes with a higher price tag. That said, there were several things I noticed during service that absolutely elevated the experience and made the cost worth it for us. One was the interaction of the staff with their guests. The section of the restaurant in which we were seated was basically in the middle of the room giving us rhe opportunity to see most of what was going on and from what I could tell everyone was well taken care of. For us personally, our server (Sofia and server assistant (Maria were both engaging and knowledgeable, table side exchanges with both Chef Steven and the sommelier (Dino were professional but friendly, and we also had an opportunity to meet the new GM (Michael who was beyond generous with his time and gave us a quick tour of the restaurant after dinner. There were a few other things like Sofia sharpening our steak knives at the table before presentation and Maria bringing a trolley to the table to box our leftovers that were just nice little extra touches that made the experience better and I personally enjoyed the entire evening. We will definitely return. (Oh... Complimentary valet parking is also available. Not having been, I was a little confused on how to get there, but trust your GPS. It was right and I didn 't listen. "

"Great experience! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and immediately when we sat down our waiter said happy anniversary (marked that as an occasion on Open Table) Gram was so attentive kind and helpful in making our food and drink selections. The Blueberry Mojito was so good! We were a bit cold at the beginning and end of our meal (sitting still/not eating etc other than that great atmosphere. Everyone was so nice. We even got some fruit on a plate that had “Happy Anniversary” on it in chocolate. Definitely helped make this one of the best anniversaries we have had. Food was delicious but I personally would have preferred more cheese in my lobster fettuccine. Overall amazing experience everyone should go here!"

"The worst service I've had in years. I called the restaurant ahead to ask if there's a corkage fee, and they said $20 a bottle, nothing on their wine list. Great! We show up and say we can only bring one bottle. Not great, but fine! I'm pretty accepting of having an off night and I worked in restaurants for years. The waiter served everyone wine except me. Then he said I told him I didn’t wanted wine instead of just fixing issue. Then he got my cocktail order wrong. He disappeared for most of the dinner and we couldn’t order drinks or more food. The food was good. It was a really disappointing experience with the service because we had planned this dinner months ahead for a special occasion."

"Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We had to send our food back twice. After waiting 40 minutes for our main course, we alerted our server, and the food arrived within 5 minutes. However, the burger was undercooked and needed to be returned. When it came back, only one side had been grilled, resulting in a burnt side and the other side barely cooked. It was, without a doubt, the worst burger we have ever had. Additionally, the Caesar salad lacked Caesar dressing and was made with radicchio, making it quite bitter. Our server never returned to check on us; instead, someone else brought our bill. There was no adjustment made for the mistakes, and we ended up leaving after only taking a bite of the burger. Overall, we were unable to finish any of our orders due to the poor quality of the food."

"Our server made our experience terrible. We felt awkward and we felt unsafe in the end despite trying to enjoy our food. (Long story short: our service was terrible, so we didn’t tip our server after dinner. Our server ran after us and intimidated us in the parking lot to leave him a tip. We sat outside and our utensils and table were very dusty. He made a passive aggressive remark when we asked for new utensils. Throughout dinner, we felt extremely rushed by him, for some reason, and his behaviour towards us was rude and condescending. We’re not sure why we were being treated this way, so we assume he was prejudiced in some way. We really did not appreciate his behaviour so we did not tip as we felt he ruined our experience, especially after we already spent lots of money on food. I understand that tipping is the norm, but the uncomfortable thing is that our server ran after us to our car and intimidated us in the parking lot saying we forgot to tip. He looked extremely agitated and was raising his voice at us, and if was dark out in the parking lot. We felt unsafe, so we tipped him to get him to leave us alone. I’ve never experienced anything like this before and I would never go back here. I understand it is rude to not leave a tip but it doesn’t warrant being chased and intimidated at a parking lot at night!"

"Honestly, I would suggest going to a different Italian restaurant. The penne pasta was served cold, and the chicken parmesan was presented strangely with the noodles on a side dish and the chicken sauce on a cutting board. The sauce tasted like low-quality ragu, and the lasagna was just average with a too sweet and cold sauce. The bread with garlic, olives, and pesto was okay, but the pesto tasted sour and spoiled. The highlight of the meal was the two garlic cloves. I have never left a dinner with only having taken three bites. The service and atmosphere need improvement, with inappropriate music playing and unacceptable wait times for drinks. When we shared our concerns with the server, we were laughed at and received a dismissive response. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. I hope this review helps someone avoid spending $120 on a disappointing meal."

"I had the distinct impression that the waiter was not happy to have a solo female guest. The place was not full on Saturday night, and i had an early reservation to make it easier for them, but several guests who came in after me were given menus, water and bread before me. Two of the dishes were superb 5 out of 5 for the asparagus feutille and the Grand Marnier souffle but my scallop main course $32) was overcooked with a blah sauce."

"We are BIG fans of Romaines .. the renovations are beautiful .. welcoming and very nice trendy .. waiting area is awesome!!!! FOOD.. another story .. very disappointed... starters .. calamari was full of batter .. why ruin a good a good thing ... it Used to be amazing Next salad .. where is the Caesar that we loved .. were we the only ones who loved this? Entrees.. oh boy! The shrimp now has a funky red sauce ..And the haddock was very dry and .. might be better as a fish and chip Overall .. Romaines is no longer a fine dining restaurant it is more of a bar and you should go there expecting a burger or lighter fare ..it's something the area might need but you should not be paying the price of the older Romaines and receiving a lesser menu We never minded spending a larger amount for dinner and a great bottle of wine when the food equaled what we paid .. but now I will still be a fan of Romaines but know that I should keep my food choices to the burger or fish tacos They changed the look and the menu but they forgot to change the name .. not Romaines anymore"

"I was expecting a fine dining experience it was more like the Cheesecake Factory, but with outrageous prices. There was nothing delicate about this meal. The beef carpaccio had an interesting flavor profile but it was a heavy dish. Stick a crust under it and it would have been a creamy cheesy beef carpaccio pizza. The veal Parmesan was 2 large pieces of veal that were heavily breaded, and again, smothered in enough cheese for a pizza. I could have had this in any mom and pop Italian dining establishment where I wouldn’t have paid nearly so much for it. The waiter gave me a long explanation of the “Bomba” that accompanied it but it was unnecessary since it just tasted like a whack of breaded veal thrown over a tomato sauce and buried in mozzarella. Even the broccoli (purchased as a side because veggies don’t come with the expensive entrees) managed to be heavy but it was tasty. My husbands burger was very good , as it damn well should’ve for the price. Again, no veggies or fries with the hamburger entree so more money shelled out to make it a meal. The service is outstanding professional and friendly. I feel sorry for them having to serve this food. Maybe it is great room service food late at night after a big night out drinking?"

"the food was good, but the service abysmal. I'm not sure if I've ever had a restaurant where I had to do with so much imagination. From check-in to order, to serve were all interactions unpleasant, and it felt that we were asking for one to spend our money there with a grumpy staff. the main courts came in a rushing 5 minutes from the order (all except one that was mysteriously late) with the appetizers after half the by the main meal - no excuses, of course. "thanks for a great meal. This is a very cozy restaurant. I mean that in a positive way. The temperature, lighting and din of diners were inviting and welcoming. They had front and rear eating areas both nice. The tables and chairs were not uncomfortable and separated nicely. The noise was a little loud but maybe that's because we sat next to the bar. The service was perfectly attentive and helpful. We started with the warm antipasto. Baked claims were delicious. A little smallish but had a perfect amount of breadcrumbs and seasoned splendidly. The rice balls were so tender and mixed with delicious cheese. The shrimps were smallish but not disappointingly so. They too were delicious The calamari...there were no tentacles which to me is normally the sin qua non of pork anus being clandestinely used as a substitute for the calamari. Not here. The calamari was delicious! Lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. For my main meal, I asked for them to make me veal parmigiana. They obliged; and I was in heaven. The veal was tender and perfectly hugged by a toothsome crust. It was coated with some wonderful mozzarella cheese and baked marvelously until piping hot. So, there are no free lunches and the issue here was it was a very small portion two 3 inch medallions. I'm in a diet so was in mirthful glee because the small potion prevented me from over eating, but in all fairness...for an average diner with an above average appetite, consider a couple of appetizers or sides because there is a chance you might otherwise be less than satiated. BTW, pasta was a small portion too seemed like about a cup of food maybe one and a half. I was told the cannolis were delicious a perfect crisp shell and homemade cream! I am coming back. No doubt. The food was sooo good and the atmosphere and service amazing. As noted, I might get a salad course *and*appetizer course as well as a side *in addition to* the one that comes with the meal."

"We used to adore this restaurant, but it has declined in quality in recent years. The food is average at best. Both of my husband's salads were soaked in overly thin dressing. My mambo salad lacked the delicious spicy dressing it used to have. I used to finish the entire salad, but I could barely eat this one. While I understand that this is a steakhouse, the appetizers should still be good considering the high prices. The sushi was below average and the calamari was served with a disappointing sweet sauce instead of a traditional marinara or cocktail sauce. Our drinks took around 15 minutes to arrive, possibly explaining why they were watered down with ice. It felt like they had been waiting at the bar for too long. My husband mentioned that the men's restroom was dirty, although the women's restroom was fine. Mastros seems to have become overly commercial and touristy. Lastly, I believe Mastros should renovate the establishment, starting with replacing the carpet."

"galatoires 33 bar and steak can be ordered from the regular Galatoire menu, so we have it. it may take a few minutes, but this is worth waiting. I had the crab yvonne and was loaded with crabs and mushrooms. hide! my man had the crab and avocado salat and portobello mushroom for a starter. excellent choice! was the crab ravigote. so wonderful with hollandaise and béchamel saucen to remember this dish in any case. deconstructed strawberry shortcake was in order, cookies distracted from the plate, as they were not as soft as they should have been. I had simple strawberries with a wonderful whipped cream. excellent! all good as ever."

"I called in advance to make sure they were offering their regular Sunday brunch for Mother’s Day was assured they were when we got there they did NOT have it when I asked about it their manager told me they called everyone to let them know they weren’t they never called me. She also insinuated we were cheap because she said “you aren’t worried about the menu, just the prices!” And we weren’t worried about the prices they were cheaper than the brunch!! We had a taste for the items on their regular brunch menu oysters, lobster scallop St Jacques, etc none of which are on their regular menu!
