"The worst service I've had in years. I called the restaurant ahead to ask if there's a corkage fee, and they said $20 a bottle, nothing on their wine list. Great! We show up and say we can only bring one bottle. Not great, but fine! I'm pretty accepting of having an off night and I worked in restaurants for years. The waiter served everyone wine except me. Then he said I told him I didn’t wanted wine instead of just fixing issue. Then he got my cocktail order wrong. He disappeared for most of the dinner and we couldn’t order drinks or more food. The food was good. It was a really disappointing experience with the service because we had planned this dinner months ahead for a special occasion."

Antonio was an excellent server. He made recommendations for sharing the larger plates which kept our meal on budget. The Pea Soup is a signature dish for good reason. We will be back. View menu

Sat at lower bar with Ronan as bartender. He is amazing. Great customer service and he always remembers us. Drinks and wine were excellent. Seafood tower and bone in ribeye was top notch.

We’ve waited 10 years to visit since the old location closed and we found we weren’t disappointed. It’s new location is fabulous but by far the highlight was the greatest steak ever. We have to come again!

We had a great experience at the restaurant thanks to our attentive and outgoing waiter, Greg. He made excellent suggestions and made our anniversary dinner memorable. The food was delicious, although the restaurant was quite loud, making it difficult to hear each other at times. Overall, thank you for making our special night even better. View menu

Best steakhouse I’ve eaten to date! My friend and I had the peppercorn ribeye, the Gorgonzola filet mignon, truffle mac and cream corn. Mouthwatering good! The free bread and butter are delicious! One of the best dining experiences. The service was impeccable, quiet atmosphere. We paid $135/each for this scrumptious meal. We loved everything we ordered. Definitely coming back when I’m in Vegas!

Our first dining experience at Smith and Wollensly. We split the New York Strip which was perfect for the two of us and also split the whipped potatoes. The steak was tender and juicy and the potatoes were so delicious. We so enjoyed talking with our server Laura who took great care of us and made sure everything was perfect. Our first dinner at Smith and Wollensky but we will definitely be back.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
