"This was a terrible experience. My boss took me out for lunch and as soon as we got there, it was in complete disarray. We sat at our far away table for so long and when the waiter eventually came around, he didn 't ask us if we wanted anything to drink, he did not give us his name, and didn’t ask if we wanted appetizers. He just jumped right into having us order entrees. When we got the food, mine literally looked like the cook poured beef stew over noodles and called it lunch. Not sure if he was trying to go for al dente noodles but they were definitely under-cooked. It was so unappealing and tasteless that I didn 't finish it or ask for a box. The waiter, of course, ignored this and went on his marry way. At this point in lunch, which was about an hour and 15 minutes, my boss felt bad that I didn’t like my meal and she tired to order dessert. Our waiter hadn’t shown his face to us during the meal except to ask us one time if we wanted additional water. My boss had to grab someone else. Finally, after dessert, we sat there, completely ignored, while we were waiting for our check. I awkwardly tried to get our waiters attention while we was talking to another member of the staff but no luck. So I got up and told him “Hi, we would like our check because you have been completely ignoring us.” What was funny was the fact that HE didn’t bring us the check, they guy he was talking to did. During this entire experience, a giant party showed up behind us. They didn 't have enough tables or chairs for them all so, instead of asking my boss to politely move, the staff tried to force a table behind her, and didn 't once acknowledge the fact that they hit her with said table. Such a pathetic excuse for a restaurant. The fact that we couldn’t retract the 20% (pretty sure the minimum is 15% tip is ridiculous. I understand the purpose but if someone didn 't earn it, they should not be rewarded. The entire experience was atrocious."

"I would never disagree with a review or opinion or a reviewer. Heck, some people like Coldplay or The Cowboys, go figure. This aside, I'm surprised to read that other reviewers found a lack of -vegan- options at Musashi. I found quite the opposite. Perhaps we meet in the middle and determine that Musashi has good-great vegan options and also good-great non-vegan options. I would prefer to find an establishment where I can take non-vegans so that they are comfortable, can chose options they prefer, and possible explore vegan options. Mushashi is exactly such a location. I've taken multiple non-vegan and vegan friends and they all (not hyperbole) have given a glowing thumbs up in regards to the food, ambience, and ownership. In regards to the lack of -vegan- options. I'll take a shot. Vegan Green Roll Vegan Pink Roll Multiple Vegan single' rolls: I'm recalling 6-8. Multiple Vegan appetizers: I'm recalling 3-5. Multiple Vegan entrees outside of sushi: I'm recalling 3 or 4. A Vegan dessert option or two. My experience with vegan sushi has been varied. Often, a restaurant will offer a few poorly executed simple veggie rolls. Musashi exudes quality, uniqueness, and attention-to-detail in even the simplest of items. Again, I avoid hyperbole unless I'm referring to the idiots currently in charge of the United States. Oops. Not food related. I legitimately feel that every item ordered (appetizers, simple' rolls, dessert) has been flavorful, detailed, and clearly a dedicated effort by the staff. I may invoke a call from the Vegan Police, but, I should also assert that a certain non-vegan sushi expert I associate with was thoroughly pleased with Musashi and echoed similar sentiments. Sure, service can be a bit slow. Go to Taco Bell if you desire food in four minutes. Honestly, I would happily trade a bit of service for a clear attention to detail. Give Musashi an honest and open-minded attempt and I assert that you may well agree. NOTE: This is an easy 5 star. I respect the Happy Cow 4-star model and, therefore, fight the system to bring you: 4 STARS out of 4 STARS. Deal with it. Rad!"

"Since Henry sold the shop it has been going backwards with this new management. I have gone several times at 1:15 or 1:30 and they've already have the machines cleaned, no bagels, no sandwiches and ready to close the shop even though there is at least 30 minutes left to closing time.Closing time means that is when you will service your last customer regardless of anything else. That is if the store is not full, otherwise you keep it open until you finish servicing your very last customer...that is called goodwill and smart business savvy!These new management don't know how to to run a restaurant or how to even treat customers. Any business takes care of a client that comes in 30 min., not to mention it should take care of anyone that comes in even at 1 min before closing, be thankful that you have people walking in your door. Don't tell your customer, Oh! we already cleaned all of the equipment and can't serve you....then you are in the wrong business. You clean your equipment after closing not before!Always you have to take care of that person because before you know it it you wont have anyone to take care of. This has already happened to me several times and I will not be going back! By the way it's a great way to loose customers.Even Henry would take care of you most of the time if you got there at almost 2:00 and everyone knows how grumpy Henry was. Trust me I know I've been going to Bagel Express for over 30 years. It is sad to see the lack of customer care this place has...don't think it will last very long unless they re-adjust their attitude! These are my two cents...By the way the majority of the reviews are from when Henry use to owned the place this people are new owners and are totally lost!!!"
