"I usually visit this McDonald's at 5:30 a.m. about once a week since I work nearby. I really appreciate the employees for their kindness, and I hope they are well-respected by management, especially given the recent reviews. The food is always fresh, and I've never had any issues with my orders. I typically choose to order abbreviations, as it makes it easier for the staff to handle all the adjustments and get everything right. I'm grateful for this McDonald's, especially compared to the two locations in Painesville that have declined over the years."

"I never received any service during my visit, which lasted about 45 minutes to an hour. The McDonald's on Broadway is advertised as being open 24 hours, and I can confirm that this is true since I've often gone there during the early morning hours. However, this time I waited at the drive-thru speaker, approached the drive-thru windows, knocked on the door, and even called the store, but no employees showed up to take my order. I even downloaded the app and placed my order there, but still... no one responded. It was quite frustrating to be left waiting in the cold at a restaurant claiming to be open 24 hours, with not even a word from anyone. Thank you for wasting my time, McDonald's on Broadway."

"I need to say the drive thru staff were very kind and so nice. I ordered drive thur for friends who were working and such a disappointment the food was for them. My dog who loves McDonald's refused the rest of a double cheeseburger but the fries tastedfreezer burnt and one of the crispy chicken sandwiches, the chicken was burnt. I spent $21.00 and the friends didn't get toeat and the dogs were not impressed. I stopped eating fast food long ago but tried two fries and what a disappointment. Don'twaste your money."

"Rather than providing good customer service, I was forced to reverse my truck back to the payment window to make a payment before returning to the pickup window to collect my food. Both window attendants had smirks on their faces throughout the process. It appears that this location may not be a franchise, given the lack of customer service etiquette displayed. Overall, a terrible experience with poor customer service."

"The dasher was fantastic...the store however not so much. This is the third time I've ordered through door dash from this McDonalds and every time theres something wrong. This time I ordered 3 shakes and received no straws, ordered chicken nuggets and received none of the sauces ordered, the chicken sandwiches were old and got thrown away. The ONLY item that was decent were the fries. This was a $67 order that the dasher only took about 8 minutes to have at my door from the time I submitted my order so the only ones to blame are this Mcdonalds!"

"Not sure I really recommend this place at all. Apparently it 's okay for bullying to be tolerated here if you are one of the staff? I decided to get a quick dinner at the drive through around 6 last Sunday, after church.First ordering the food, the girl wasn 't listening to anything that was being said and kept getting the order wrong on the screen. Her microphone or something kept turning off and I felt like I heard her talk bad about me being picky. The girl was rude from the beginning and it didn 't fly with me at all. That 's not all either. When I finally got up to the window, she just didn 't say anything and just put her hand out for my card. I had cash and was counting out change .. she let out a huge sigh. Must have not wanted to wait an extra 10 seconds so I can count out 22 cents. I didn 't even take much time. She was just being ridiculous. Her name tag said her name was Lana or Laura. She had reddish hair and a bit heavierMy total was 24.22. I gave her 25.22. she didn 't even bother to count. I mentioned to her I 'm supposed to get $1 back and she argued with me and made me feel stupid. Than she took a dollar out and gave it to me.Than I went to the next window. The girl with blonde hair that gave me my food was really sweet. But than that girl from the previous window appeared and was demanding her to switch windows. The girl (said her name was Anastasia) with blonde hair said she was supposed to be assigned that window and was nicer than I would be. Well IN FRONT of me (a customer) she shoved her and hit her!!! Like hello??? How the heck is this ok?? She also called her a B , which was crazy. She didn 't say it loud but loud enough where I could hear it.The girl with red hair left and the girl with blonde hair I could tell was in pain. But I told her she needs to report that because that is not ok. That is assault!!I come here often and always hear this girl be rude and call people names. How and why do they keep someone that is highly abusive towards good workers? I hope they fire her honestly.I wanted to give it 5 stars for service because Anastasia was extremely kind but the girl ruined it for me"

"Please hire and train individuals that care about the job. Beyond exhausted of getting served horrible food that seems days old by the time you get it. Keep your refund and vouchers for future use and do this place justice and clean house with your closing shift. The manager or whomever is in charge for dinner/closing must enjoy serving nasty food just to turn around and issue refunds. I bet their rate of refunds is higher compared to other locations and this is small town. Small towns don't have a lot to offer and this just adds to the don't go there list. Crew wears whatever they want and walk food back and forth to drive thru customers and then renter the kitchen area without washing their hands. Disgusting. The night supervisors wear sweat pants and have their man buns pulled so tight they forgot the basics of fast food...your customer works hard to feed their family and we all deserve to be served food that is Hot and Fresh. Ridiculous and will gladly place my money elsewhere."

"Heard the employee's arguing about who was going to wait on the counter. There was a long line. So no one waited on us!I put my order in at kiosk. Waited and waited in that long line, watching orders come up on the screen. I opted to pay for my order at the counter. Therefore, my order was not there. So......what was the point in using the kiosk?So, my experience here......? Very disrespectful little twits working behind the counter. Also, they pre-made the french fries...everyone knows what that is like!!! Cold and soft. YuckI know it will mean nothing to McDonald's. But it will matter to me. "This is one of the best McDonald's locations I’ve ever visited. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is clean. However, during busy times, there’s often no one at the front counter to take orders, which can be frustrating. There’s a manager who usually works at night, and I've noticed she tends to reprimand her employees in front of customers. I've heard from several people that they wouldn't want to apply to work for her because of this environment. Despite the challenges with management, I still plan to return here because the McDonald's app offers some fantastic deals. Right now, if you download the app and create an account for the first time, you can get a free Big Mac without having to make a purchase. The app also allows you to earn points on your orders that can be redeemed for free food and discounts. *UPDATE: On Easter Sunday, the staff expressed their frustration about customers coming in, saying, "Don't they get enough food with their families, or are they just too lazy to cook?""

"I attempted to redeem my rewards but the woman at the restaurant was very impolite. She claimed she couldn't figure out how to process it, so I decided to leave. When I checked my app later on, I noticed that my rewards had disappeared! Now I have no rewards and no items to redeem them for. Overall, the meal experience was disappointing. The price per person was affordable, between $1-$10, but the food, service, and atmosphere were all rated poorly at 1 out of 5."

"I usually don't eat at McDonald's, but since my grandson wanted to go with his friend, I took him there. I have to commend one of the staff members for embodying excellent customer service. The young man's name was Kenay. He was engaging, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I would happily return to this McDonald's just to see Kenay's cheerful smile again."
"This was my second experience using the drive-thru, and I was once again let down by my lunch. I ordered a Quarter Pounder meal and specifically requested no onions on my burger, but it came with onions anyway, forcing me to remove them myself. I also asked for mayonnaise, which I received, but it wasn’t actually on the burger. It felt like the person preparing my order was too distracted to pay attention. The bun was dry, the meat was cold, and the cheese didn’t even melt. To top it off, the lettuce was starting to look brown. I’m giving it two stars only because the fries were warm (not hot) and my drink was correct. What has happened? I remember when McDonald's used to be a great place to eat—hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. I understand that many employees today may come from a generation that expects convenience without putting in the effort. Good luck if you decide to use the drive-thru. If customers checked their meals before leaving, perhaps that would encourage management to improve their service. That's two strikes against the Middlesboro McDonald's."

"Genuinely the worst “fast” food restaurant I’ve ever been to. The workers have absolutely no care for anything in the world other than receiving a paycheck for being there. 15 minutes just to get past the speaker and you’re greeted by dancing, laughing, joking, or texting on their phone when you get to the window. Another 30 minutes later and you finally get your food and are able to leave. Restaurant is in a horrible state and management needs to step it up and should be ashamed."

"We stopped at The Sun on August 30, 2020, around 3 PM. I ordered a quarter pounder cheeseburger basket (without the wobble) and a Diet Pepsi, along with a fish burger sandwich. Our total came to either $11.47 or $13.47 (not that it really matters). We had to wait a few minutes to place our order, but that was okay. Once we received our order, we left and started eating down the road. Unfortunately, what we found in the bag was the quarter pounder. I checked the receipt, and it stated that it was a fish quarter pounder. We were very disappointed to discover this a few miles away, and it was too far to go back. I just wanted to express our disappointment about receiving the wrong food. It wasn't even about the price difference; my partner wanted the fish sandwich specifically. Please make sure to bring this to the attention of your staff. We were really let down by receiving the wrong order!"
