"I stopped going here, because, the service is so bad. My experience at the Original Bagel was this...if you order a Burger well done, without lettuce, tomatoes they are lost! From this horrible experience I stopped going a year ago and have found much better services on main street in Newark Delaware I'm Originally from NYC and can find the best foods and service anywhere ?. "This place has AMAZING FOOD AND AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The employees are always so friendly and cheerful. The reason for the 1 star is because of the way that the employees are treated. In the winter there is no heat and they have to cook with winter jackets on to keep warm. A small space heater is not an adequate source of heat when the front door is opening and closing because this place have so much volume and is always packed. Now that it is summer there isn't any air conditioning for them. They are given a fan now so now it is a convection bake oven in there for the employees. It is unhealthy and unsafe. The front door propped open is there only opportunity for air flow. The workers come to work everyday seems like they never call out they are always working so hard and hustling. Maybe the tip money that the owner takes from them could pay for the electric bill if he ever decides to get the HVAC system fixed. Just saying..."

"631 is a hidden gem of a restaurant located on the North Fork. We have enjoyed breakfast there on multiple occasions and decided to celebrate my birthday there as well. Their Greek dishes are a standout, so we decided to focus on those options. The grilled octopus, oysters, gyro platters, and whole red snapper were all delicious. The outdoor dining area is spacious and comfortable, and our server was very attentive. This may just become my new favorite spot."

"I recently had the worst meal I've had in a long time at this restaurant. The service was slow and terrible, and I couldn't understand why the waitress was sitting where she could watch us. The food was just okay, except for the chalupa chip, which was so thick and hard that I couldn't even take a second bite. The cheese inside the enchiladas wasn't melted, and the chips were cold. The tea had also turned. Overall, I would rate the food and service a 1 out of 5. The atmosphere was decent with a rating of 4 out of 5. There was plenty of parking available in the free parking lot. The price per person for lunch was between $10 and $20."

"I went to sunrise bagels this morning as I have many times over the years to get a few bagels for my kids at home. I started talking with Sam and as usual we asked each other how our families were and I told him my son who is an officer in the army is home from overseas in Egypt for two weeks. We talked about the military and he told me to thank my son for his service. When my order was ready and brought to me, Sam would not let me pay but instead told me once again to thank my son for his service and dedication. He wanted this to be from him to us. Of course I was pretty emotional and really couldn’t speak but I think Sam knows how grateful I am and appreciative we all are here in our household that many people support the military and their families. It’s funny because I didn’t even order a bagel for myself because of dietary restrictions...ha , ha... but today I put away my Nutrisystem and had a bagel from Sunrise and Sam with my family! Thank you and I think the world of you Sam!!You are a truly a wonderful human being!"

"I usually love this shop but today I had a terrible experience. There were multiple doordashers in the store waiting for orders so I knew it was going to be a bit of a wait. I called ahead at 9:44 and got there to pay at 10:09, I know this because it says exactly when on the receipt. I sit there and they have a cart for pickup orders in front as well as one they’re putting behind the counter which I assume is for unpaid call in orders (spoiler: it’s not) so a few of the doordashers are already annoyed waiting and some try to peek at the cart where they’re putting orders behind the counter, one of the employees tells them “one moment” and the mood in there gets confrontational which does not make me want to be here at all. They call a few orders that have numbers above mine which tells me they definitely didn’t make mine until I paid as well. They start calling names for DoorDash orders as well and start handing from the cart I guess we’re not allowed to see as well as some regular orders they just hand over from the prep area. Eventually as the store starts to clear out they ask what my number was and I tell them and they hand it to me from the cart they were guarding. The issue with that is they knew other peoples order numbers and were looking out for them and forgot about me just sitting there trying not to add to the confrontational setting. I sat there for a good 20 minutes waiting for them to call my number when it had been done the whole time and I didn’t get it because I just let them do their thing since it was so busy and didn’t want to add to their stress. So I feel like I was punished for being overly polite and my patience was not rewarded. If you guys read this I really hope you just start calling every name and number so your customers don’t feel like they’re just wasting their time like I did. Maybe tell DoorDash and other delivery services you don’t want to do their orders anymore because you clearly cannot handle it when it gets too busy.I feel like I’m nothing but understanding and patient other times and always leave a tip when I have cash so I guess I just expected better service and more respect for my time."
