"Wonderful experience. The ribeye was phenomenal. I don?t write reviews but I felt it was warranted tonight. Service and food both surpassed my expectations. The chef Jose came out to talk about the food and had me wanting to go back tomorrow. He's convinced me I need to try the fries, burger, and grouper. I will be back with friends soon."

"My wife and I got married in Ithaca in July 2022, and Coltivare was a fantastic venue for our rehearsal dinner and the brunch the following day. The food was outstanding, and the service was even better. Their events team was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making both days a memorable experience for our family and friends. They offered to create a special menu for the dinner and provided us access to the entire wine cellar, as well as half of the banquet space for our welcome drinks. For brunch, we were the only guests in the restaurant, and we felt truly taken care of. We highly recommend Coltivare for special occasions and private events, and we can't wait to return!"

"This restaurant has a lot of potential, but I felt that it definitely did not meet my expectations. While they claim that falafel is a primary item on their menu, that was actually the blandest and least flavorful part of my entire meal. The wrap was also overpriced, as it came out quite small and underwhelming. The spinach pie also was bland, especially compared to what I?ve had before. It may have been fresh, but the food just wasn?t that good. Average place at best."

"This charming cafe is a hidden gem for sure! Their coffee menu was creative, featuring coffee made by their son at Espresso Air. I loved the unique selection of pastries and entrees. Most important, the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They explained to us the origins of the famous Turkish Delight and offered a complimentary selection of the treat with our cup of Turkish coffee. They even put a table in the shade for us after they saw us sitting in the sun. Thank you Tulip Cafe!"

"We went in for a late dinner on Sunday night. I?ve never been so disappointed in the service or the food until now. The bartender was ?training? a new employee which made the whole experience worse. You would think she would want to train her properly instead of being on her phone and ignoring all the customers. It took almost 30 mins for us to receive our order and immediately it was wrong. The food runner said the ticket was wrong but he would be back in a few mins with my husbands fries. Almost 40 mins later he showed up with cold, soggy fries. The server/bartender not once asked us how our food was or if we needed anything. Meanwhile the three drunk people at the end of the bar kept being over served as they spillled their drinks and almost fell down the flight of steps. Nothing about this experience was pleasant and I am forever reminded why I stopped going there to eat. Without customers you don?t have a business. You might want to take a refresher course in customer service. Terrible food, service and atmosphere."

"This place is beautiful, with a cozy interior and a gorgeous bar. The menu is fairly limited, and despite having a few Mediterranean appetizers, has predominately sandwiches and salads on the menu (and a couple of bowls). My date enjoyed his tuna melt, and I didn’t mind the meat flat-bread but was far from impressed by it. The cocktails were okay — balanced but not particularly interesting, and also took a good while to get to us. This place has lots of potential and I’d go back for the ambiance … – show"
